This is my go to spot for threading and they usually do a great job but today I decided to venture and try getting a lash lift. What a MISTAKE! First of all I didn't appreciate that the tech didn't walk me through what she was doing. Then the process itself was very uncomfortable. My eyes were burning and the smell of the solution was horrible. Finally when she was done I could barely open my eyes because my top and bottom lashes were glued together. When I saw the disaster in the mirror I was shocked. My lashes were over processed, clumped together and uneven. The manager instead of acknowledging what a horrible job was done she promised me that it will "get better with time and when I washed my face." I ended up having to go elsewhere and spending $50 to have them fix this mess. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I brought my 2 daughters to get their eyebrows waxed and one daughter got her lower lip/ upper lip waxed as well. I was charge ~31.6 and gave $10 tip. It was obvious that the eyebrows for my daughter was crooked, so I asked the woman to fix it nicely and it was still crooked, so I showed her exactly what I meant. She rushed to bring another client into the chair but I couldn't leave with my daughter looking like that because she has very thick eyebrows and now they are not shaped the same, one higher than the other. I asked her again and she said yes I'll fix it and then she did. We left and now I see they charge an additional $14 ($45.7)onto my credit card for them to fix something they didn't do correctly. Please make sure you get a receipt when you visit this place as it is highly possible that they add charges even if you tip them in cash. I will never return. Submitted dispute with credit card company. They deserve 1/2 star for such crooked behavior:( read more

I went there to get henna done. When I asked to see some of their designs a worker was extremely rude saying, "You can google it, you know?" The worker who actually did my henna told me a specific price at the beginning of the service then when it was time to pay she raised the price. I love this shop. I come in for full leg and Brazilian wax. Anita, who is the woman that has always done my waxing, is a sweetheart and she is fantastic at what she does. The reason for 4 stars is due to the neighborhood. I unfortunately had to witness a customer get physically violent and verbally threaten an employee. I have been coming here for well over two years. I go religiously every 2 weeks to get my eyebrows done. The eyebrows cost 5$ and when you get to ten you get one free. I normally go to any one who is open at the time and I have never been disappointed . I recently got my lashes done and for $20 you cannot beat it. Most lashes cost 65-120$ so I really think it is a steal even if it lasts for half the time. I will go to this place for as long as I live in the area. I love them. They always slay my nonexistent eyebrows. Although I have my two main favorites, all of the women are skilled. You can kinda tell the some of the workers get salty when you don't go to them and instead tell them you're waiting for another worker. Bring cash because there's an extra fee for paying with card. They have a rewards program too which is a plus, so don't forget about that. The wait is never really long. They're fast too. If I could give this place less than 1 Star, I 100% would. I am absolutely HORRIFIED at my eyelash extension experience here! I've gotten my eyelashes done at a few eyelash extension salons in NYC and Westchester, but it's always been a bit pricey. This salon only charges $20 for extensions, but I swear to god they use super glue or something absurd for your eyelashes because this shit dries rock hard and pokes your eyelids. I genuinely can't tell if the technician went to cosmetology school or not because she glued half the lashes ON MY LID and half ON MY LASHES. When it came to removing the lashes, I had no luck and ended up having to soak them in coconut oil for a while before I gave up and attempted to pull them out. Keep in mind, eyelash extensions should come off naturally but these just poke your lids and irritate them when they start to come off. They became so painful at one point that I had no choice but to snip some off. Now I have a few lashes left on my eye and a painful stye. NOT TO MENTION THE CUT EYELASHES. Avoid at all costs people. Please please please find another salon to do this. Now I have to invest $70+ on eyelash extensions at a good salon to fix this embarrassing, painful mess. read more

For a whole year, I religiously lined and filled my eye brows. But as a low maintenance kinda gal, I felt that it was just too much and gave this place a try. I got my eyebrows done, however they do not listen to the customer. The lady was annoyed bc I explained to her again how I wanted my eyebrows to her and she was literally and bluntly giving me an attitude as if she was annoyed and proceeded to completely disregard me and to call the next customer! While I was paying I advised the cashier lady that I needed a few stands off that were left. The lady that did my eyebrows started to literally get loud, with other customers in the salon. Out of respect I left a tip (not Bc she deserved it). As I am walking out I advised her that all I needed was a few strands off and she started to talk loud to me border line screaming!!!! Unfortunately, today she wasn't there so I decided to take a chance on someone who seemed to be there by themselves, she called herself "Coco". Coco was there at 12pm on 7/17/22 & told me when I sat in her chair that she couldn't do my eyebrows because they're "too curly". As an African American woman, I was highly offended by her "curly" comment, but instead of standing there telling her about how ignorant she is I just got up and left. I work in the area and I went in yesterday quickly with my son, being that I just went to drop off my papers at work I thought I would just stop by. I arrived and was greeted by the young lady her name is (wish ) who is very professional and kind, however I kept looking back at my son being that I'm overly protective of him. I requested for my threading and brows tinting. I went on to ask Wish about the eye lash tinting being that I was going away on vacation and I would be in water she suggested that yes it does last. To go on .... I don't know how the other two idiots( yes idiots) that work there made the pre-assumptions that was going to walk out without paying although I'am not fluent in their native languages I picked up on the conversation they were having amongst themselves. To their surprise I have study it in the past. I let it go, being that I was with my 8 year old. I paid and tip wish, because honestly wish does a good job and this was my second time visiting this location. My son was holding on to the mirror and the slim young lady that sits at the end snatch it from him, and stated that he was a pain in the ass in her language, again I'am a profession woman therefore I refuse to argue with anyone in front of him. I was so disappointed with the lack of treatment. I was so upset I even called the Manager ( BiBi ) after I left the store no apologize nothing. She just yea me a bunch of times. I have recommend this place in the past to my coworkers, however I will stop moving forward. I always love to support small business especially those run by women,however these women sit and speak badly about customers in their language and have no respect for women with children. Don't come here. Just came here for a touch up. Came out with eyebrows that are not symmetrical and a bald patch to one eyebrow. I do not expect humans to be perfect nor perform jobs to perfection each but but when you make a mistake owe up to it. I pointed this bald spot and mistake out to the lady and she denied anything. BWEARE, very great place to get your eyebrows done BUT BEWARE. During COVID-19 there's customers complaining about the workers not changing their gloves after each customer when they are suppose to. A few weeks ago I was in kind of a pinch and my friend swears my Beautiful Brows and treated me to getting my eyebrows threaded and I was so happy. We were in and out super quickly, it's cheap, it's clean, they did a great job keeping my shape and cleaning up where I needed it, and it's way closer than my 200 block trek to my usual spot. It was worth its price as facials are usually a lot more. The wait time is usually quick even on the busy weekends. She covered my clitoris in wax and ripped a few layers of skin off!!! After the literal 15 minute process (a full Brazilian should take 45 min) there were several spots that she missed.
