I've been coming here for years now for eyebrow threading and realized I never left a review. I always went to Dipty and was very hesitant to go to anyone else (due to a bad experience elsewhere) but since she's been gone I've been going to the other lady and I believe her name may be Maya. The staff is always very friendly and they notice when the regular customers haven't been there in awhile either by being familiar with their face or by noticing the need for service lol. Even though I had hesitation in the beginning I feel better about it now. The service has always been great and I never had to worry about my eyebrows looking like the McDonald's arch or seemingly permanently surprised for three weeks. There's times when it gets really busy but I normally just come back on a different day or at a later time. I'll definitely continue to come back. read more

Awful-brows are MESSED UP! I went to the one lady (manager with thick brows) she did good. Everytime since, she keeps directing new people to me while sits on her phone. The last lady she had me with made my eyebrows SO thin. I told her clean up and that one of my brows is still growing in from last year when someone messed them up. Therefore, I am not trying to match the good brow to the one that's a work in progress. She begins to cute my brows with scissors first. THATS NOT HOW YOU DO IT! Scissors are the last thing you do after the thread, I knew she was already going to mess up. Then she starts threading and I can immediately feel her to high up. It hurt more than normal which is another sign. And she went over my good brow twice and with scissors again. She was not apologetic, and insisted her work was good for what I wanted. NO!! Making someone's brow too thin should be your worst fear in this position. PAY ATTENTION, SLOW DOWN, and DONT DO TOO MUCH. You can always go back in if a customer wants thinner but not the opposite way. SO UPSET. Going to take months to fix this and will have to have undone eyebrows for MONTHS. Unfair read more

This is the best threading place! My entire family sisters mom dad come here to get our eyebrows done. They take their time and clean it up so nicely. I've lived in so many cities and nothing compares to the price and the quality of threading. I go to Dipti only. The salon is always very clean and everyone wears a mask. They are all very hygienic and meticulous. Parking is a bit tricky, there's street parking and there's parking around the houses or it's a short walk from the 6 train. For a price reference eyebrows and upper lip were around ~$14. When you have thick eyebrows like I do, you must go to someone you can trust! Definitely, recommend this place! Wish i never walked in that place. When i ask them to tell me the difference in the facials, they both just say "different product" and CANT explain. So i try to do my lashes, as im there a woman comes in complaining that her eyebrow tint faded in less than a week. RED FLAG. The woman starts my lashes, it looked like way too much glue, unnatural. Come here every 3-4 weeks to do my eyebrows, I first started off with Dipti and now I'm with Maya. Both wonderful, friendly, and skilled woman that knows how to thread eyebrows. There was a moment in June when I went to a new skinny lady where she butchered my brows by making it SUPER thin at the edge. I was highly recommended to Dipti by a co worker and was extremely excited to try her out, but my experience turned out to be a disaster . First off the lady isn't even a licensed to perform waxing or any services that require a license ! She was so rude and didn't even warn me when she was pulling off the strip. When I got home not only did I have wax all over me but I also had hair left . I was so upset that I went to NYS License Department to look up her license her name was no where to be found so I have reported her to NYS, If you see a license on the wall you should check the numbers and write them down BECAUSE ITS NOT REAL!
