On the second day, I noticed some swelling on my left eyelid and reached out to her. Upon sending her pictures of my eyes, she claimed the swelling to be caused by a hanging eyelash she glued extremely close to my eyeball. She told me to come in the following day to remove the lash and the swelling should go down, which I told her I was completely okay with. When I woke up on the third day, my entire eyelid was swollen. I reached out to Samantha and told her I just needed to remove the entire set at this point because my eye was really not doing okay. She proceeded by sending me numerous messages at a time pleading to let me remove the lash and the swelling would go down, rather than removing the entire set. She even went as far as reaching out to manager (who referred her to me) to call me in order to try and change my mind. Once I arrived at the suite later that day to get the set removed, Samantha insisted on removing the lash, which wasn't the specific lash she pointed out at all. Samantha had glued lashes to my actual eyelid, resulting in everything being clumped together. She made me sit there while I continuously told her to just remove the entire thing, squirming in pain, as she ripped off the lashes that were clumped together on my eyelid. The entire time this was going on she referred to me reaching out about my swollen eyelid as complaining, and she kept expressing her concern about me ruining the integrity of her business and her reputation. Once she finally got the lashes off, she asked if my eye felt well enough to keep the set on, to which I replied that I still wanted her to take them off. The removal process was extremely painful and once I had them off and looked at my eye it was twice as big. At this point, the right eye had swelling on the lash line as well, along with the feeling of little particles on the inside of my eyes. Once I left, I went to the emergency room, where I was told I had an infection and they had to flush my eyes with iv bags (hooked up by contact lenses), and stain my eyes in order to assess that no damage had been done to my cornea. 4 hours later I was on my way to pick up my antibiotics. I went through a period of time where I had eyelash extensions on for 6 months. In those 6 months I did not experience any irritation or inflammation at all. Once Samantha reached out and I told her I was in the emergency room and that I had an infection, she proceeded to tell me, "maybe eyelash extensions aren't for you then love." I will never in my life go back to Samantha for any type of services, and I hope this review saves anyone from going through what I went through.

Kim is quite gentle and helps clients feel relaxed. Before the appt, Kim had a consult call with me on length and styles to go for the look I wanted. This was my first time getting lashes done. I had a slight sinus reaction, maybe since I'm not used to anything being near my eyes for so long or the glue. I think it was more my body than anything the tech was doing. My eyes got a bit watery and red during install but it wore off an hour after. The results were worth it.

One day, I was running in the park and fell forward. I ended up bitting my lip so hard that it left a mark. Fast forward 15 years and theres still a scar lining of my top tooth. I followed Christine on Instagram, she was one of the few I found who looked super legit and was super open and honest on her page. My first appointment was in October 2020 I went to get my lashes done and it was super last minute decision of mine but she got me in! Off the bat, she was super nice and super honest with me. Going into this, I knew I had sensitive eyes and I let her know in advance. She warned me that tearing can impact the results and I agreed because I wanted to give it a try. I teared a bit but the results were so worth it. The lashes lasted me sooo long and gave me so much life, I knew I couldn't go anywhere else. Fast forward a bit, I became a student model for two ladies that were learning from Christine. As a student model, listening in on how detailed and specific she was made me feel less worried. They were able to conceal my scar, they did a great job with Christine's help. Fast forward a few months later I had my touch up and lashes done as I knew my birthday was coming up the next month. Christine did my touch up with a brighter a bolder color which I loved and my lashes came out amazing as usual. Fair warning, I don't suggest doing two services at once if you can't lay flat for a long time. Christine was very accommodating and allowed me to stretch between sessions. She evened out my Cupid's bow and concealed the scar even more so it wasn't noticeable anymore. The healing process was pretty quick. I started peeling within the 3rd day and was fully peeled by the 6th day. My lips looked amazing, as a girl that is shy with pictures because of my lip insecurity, it felt GREAT! I went to Disney after they healed. A lady had complimented me and wanted to know my trick on how my lipstick stayed so perfect as I was eating. I was so in shock as that's never happened. I was so excited to share Christine's Instagram and explain the process. I can't wait for my next session with Christine.
