I have been coming to Sam for over two years after a very terrible experience where my eyebrows were returned into commas! She was able to fix things and make my eyebrows look and has been consistent in her practice every single time. She is the most professional kind and caring person I have met in a long time. Her dedication to her craft and her commitment to her to her clients being satisfied is her number one selling point. I highly recommend this beautiful lady! read more

I just moved to the area from the West Coast and it had been over a month since I last had my brows threaded, having been preoccupied with unpacking and all. For a visual: I'm Iranian and my brows were starting to make me look like my Dad. I found Sam while looking up salons nearby. Her Instagram allowed me to see her services and quality of work, leaving me with a great feeling about making an appointment with her. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was a teenager and knew exactly what I wanted. She was attentive to my needs and talked me through her process, as well as asking how I liked one brow before continuing to the other. Sam was sweet, hospitable and welcoming, reminding me of my aunts. She was easy to talk to and treated me well. I can't imagine getting service like hers anywhere else, even back West. If you need a new brow Auntie, you need to see Sam. Period. read more

There are several chain threading options walkable from my home, but instead I travel 25 blocks to Sam and have never once regretted in. She's got good suggestions for shaping my brows, and a sense of humor, and also a sweet, personable warmth. It's nice to know that the person doing my threading cares about helping me look my best! read more

Sam is the best!! I went about a month ago after spending almost a year without getting my eyebrows done. I explained to her how long its been and how I always let my eyebrows grow out only to get them done and be upset because they're too thin. Sam literally did exactly what I wanted. She was so understanding and sweet. I was in and out and super satisfied which doesn't usually happen when you get your eyebrows done. Highly recommend especially for the price. These days you can be charged up to 20$ to get your brows done and it still dont be giving what its supposed to give. GO TO SAM!! SHES GONNA GET YOU RIGHT read more

I met Sam yesterday for the first time. I went for back waxing, which I'd only ever had once or twice. Sam was very friendly and welcoming, and also professional, skillful, efficient and extremely affordable (literally half the price of a big chain that's right nearby). Despite being in a basement downstairs from a salon, her place is very clean and well lit. It's always nice to support a small local business, and when you get rewarded with great prices and great service it's definitely a win win. Please try Sam for whatever waxing or threading you want or need, you will be glad you did. Thanks, Sam, I'll definitely be back! read more

Sam's Threading Salon - After growing my eye brows for two months.. Before eyebrow threading (top) & afterward (bottom) - Waxing Near Me - New York, New York

Sam is amazing ! So happy I found someone close to home and no longer have to trek to 14th st from Washington Heights. I found Sam on Yelp and walked in for an eyebrow threading and upper lip wax on a Saturday at about 4:30pm. Fortunately, nobody was waiting and she saw me next. I loved how we had a nice mini consultation prior to her starting. She asked me questions, measured my eyebrows, etc. Sam did a great job and I'm definitely returning. She's my new eyebrow lady. Update: Since drafting this review I never posted lol (a few months ago) I've only been going to Sam for my threading. She's a sweetheart and my mother threads her eyebrows with her too. We are super satisfied with her services :) read more

Sam is fantastic! I went to her for a bikini wax. She was very clear about all the different options and their prices (which are super reasonable for NYC!) The wax itself was quick and efficient. She did a wonderful job. The shop isn't fancy, but it's clean and well maintained. Sam herself is very friendly, she made me feel comfortable and welcome. I will 100% be going back!! read more

Sam is great, and so is her work! When you find a place that you can trust with your face, you keep going back; that's why I've been happy to visit Sam for the past 4 years that I've lived in the neighborhood. I had a bad experience with one of the chains in the neighborhood and was so happy when I found Sam. The place is small, simple, and inviting. Trust Sam with your eyebrow needs and you'll thank me later, also check out her other services! read more

The worse place you can go to, the girl literally had half of my eyebrow removed after asking to just clean it.

I came here scared because I no longer had an eyebrow lady and everything is now a little complicated. I left so happy knowing that I got my eyebrows done and she didn't mess them up!!! I always get butchered with my eyebrows bc ppl love making them thin. But it was perfect, she even gave them a slight shape with I love! Definitely, go to her do not hesitate. I was very upfront with what I wanted and she listened. read more

I just moved to the neighborhood and had to my eyebrows for NYE, Sam's is right across the street from my house and I came in taking a chance. It was a great experience Sam is very friendly and sweet, and actually talks to you about your eyebrows as well as what she's doing. Usually at the places I've gone to do my eyebrows they don't really speak to you about your eyebrows just take the next person and repeat. I loved how my eyebrows came out and I will definitely come back soon! read more

Great threading salon and waxing. Sam does a fantastic job every time.

I live close to this eyebrow threading salon but only tried it on a whim (read: the brows and upper-lip situation were getting out of hand). I'm glad I did. Sam was very welcoming and she didn't need much coaching on how I wanted my brows threaded. I love them on the thicker side and more straight. She understood immediately and went to work. I love how they turned out. I also go my lip waxed because threading my upper lip feels like torture (no matter who does it). My go-to brow place is on 14th street, but having this option so close to home is a game changer. I will be back. 100% satisfied. read more
