Brought my 1996 Honda Civic with body damage to my front bumper. It was done on time and on budget.

Never have seen this before. They reattached a car bumper at no charge. And did it incredibly fast.

I truly cannot say enough about Loving's, especially my car guardian angel, Corey…read more I got into an accident on 95 and ended up at Loving's by chance- they were the closest repair shop in relation to where the accident occurred, and that was the only stroke of good luck I had that day. I rear-ended a lifted pickup, and the tow-hitch punched right through the grill of my Jeep, smashing the radiator. As I waited for a tow and called my insurance, I discovered that my husband had removed any collision coverage from our account, meaning any damage was going to be paid completely out of pocket. To make a long story short, Loving's, and especially Corey, worked with me to help make costs more manageable and ultimately do what was best for me financially with the situation I was in. They were accommodating, understanding, clear and upfront, and perhaps most importantly, kind. I have dealt with many a car repair shop in my day, and, especially as a female, I have always been wary of their handling of prices, not a fan of how I am spoken to, and just downright distrustful of the industry in general. My experience with Loving's completely changed my mindset. There are good, honest, and respectful men who do fairly priced and above board work on cars. They work at Loving's.

No one wants to spend money on a repair but if you have to do it, it's nice to business with a company you can trust. If I ever need it, I will not hesitate to choose this shop over the bigger corporate shops!

UPDATE: After reviewing the work done on my car, the…read morequality of work is much worse than I had expected. I suspect components of the car were not removed to paint correctly, and instead of screwing parts in, the simply used some sort of adhesive to hold it on place while the loose screws beat up the bottom of the bodywork. I don't understand how the work could've been done any worse. On top of my terrible experience with Burtons, I'm afraid I'll have to take my car to another shop to (most likely) re-do all of the work they negligently pieced together. 0/10, would give 0 stars if I could.

I dropped off my car before going on vacation for a week for a minor bumper repair (see pic) on the…read moreagreement that it would be done upon my return in a week. I return to the shop straight from the airport (Uber) and lo and behold my car hasn't even been touched. I ask how long it would take them to finish it and I'm given a non answer. "Well I have to talk to my paint guy and he's out the rest of the week but I'll try to get in touch with him and give you a call later." I have been promised no less than 6 separate occasions a call back from Burton's and they have followed through on that promise 0 times, admitting over and over that they "got busy" or are "down a man". After calling every two days for an update on my car for the next two weeks I've grown tired and frustrated of being treated like I couldn't matter less to Burton's. I was given a rental only upon threat of taking my bumperless, unpainted car off of their hands and taking it to another body shop to finish the job. It took two weeks for them to offer me a rental. I assume because my repair is small and covered by insurance it just doesn't fall into the realm of importance on their end and I just have to accept it. It has now been 27+ days and I STILL don't have my car and I've been given every reason under the sun why, short of them actually accepting responsibility. If you take your vehicle here I suggest you buy a bicycle now and accept the fact that you'll probably be getting your car back long after you've forgotten what it looks like. Avoid like the plague. I'd suggest beautiful bodies body shop. Edit: Since posting this review burtons has fallen into new management. I wonder why. Wouldn't trust them to put tires on a bicycle.

Following Monday I called Abbott's and informed. The response was "Bring the car, We are going to look at it". I told front desk that Acura fixed it temporarily and am hesitant to reopen that engine oil jar again next day. so told Abbott's, we will look at it during next oil change or if starts leaking again. I should not have treated as friendly neighborhood service shop. That was my mistake. ------------------------ Previous reply of yours is your understanding of the recent situation, but I want to be entirely clear: this was never about money, nor did I ever ask for a refund. My concern has always been about receiving basic respect, proper service, and professional conduct. To clarify the timeline of events: August 5th-6th (First Vehicle): I dropped off my first car on the 5th. Although I never received a call with an estimate, I paid for the DRL service over the phone without question when told it was ready on the 6th. When I picked it up after hours, I immediately noticed incomplete assembly work on the fender--including missing screws and plugs--without even needing to bend down (photo attached). August 6th-7th ( Refund Mistake & Escalation): I dropped off my second car on the 6th. When I returned on August 7th to pick it up, I paid for that car. Once it is completed, I showed the photo of the botched assembly on the first vehicle. Instead of listening or handling the matter professionally, the front desk employee became aggressive immediately, mechanic joined to his rant, and ordered me out of the office simply for asking questions about work I paid for. If you have a front desk video take a look. To make matters worse, the amount your shop later returned was actually for the second vehicle--which was less than what I paid for the DRL service on the first car--proving the refund wasn't even for the service in question and highlighting the sheer arrogance and negligence of your team. As a paying customer, I will not tolerate that level of hostility and entitlement--especially over an error as simple as failing to reinstall screws and body plugs. At the time, I mistakenly assumed the front desk employee was the owner, which is why I tried to reason with him directly. If you saw how your staff behaves when leadership isn't around, you would realize how severely they damage your shop's reputation. To make matters worse, on August 10th--only after I posted my initial review--the front desk employee called to apologize and admitted his behavior on August 7th was wrong. I declined to speak with him further, only to see your response on Yelp shortly after. This sequence makes it glaringly obvious that your shop prioritizes online damage control over treating in-person customers with basic respect. Excuses I heard on that day. 1) My screws are dirty. 2) Repeated MECANIC ARGUED QUESTION: "ARE YOU OK IF I CHARGE YOU 120$ TO FIX THOSE SCREWS" YES OR NO. He asked me to answer YES OR NO answer only. what is your answer if you are in my shoes? I would like to hear that to understand what your answer would be as customer/business owner? I will hear what your explanation also.
