If your car is a diesel vehicle I would not suggest going here. I needed an oil change and…read moreVolkswagen didn't have any appointments for weeks and I didn't want to wait. I called around to a few places to find a place that worked on diesel cars and they said they did. When I showed up there was lots of confusion about my car. Wrong parts were used and eventually they determined they didn't have the part my car needed. I was advised to come back the next day, still no part. Day 3 at first they told me they didn't have the part then a second person came to correct the first so I was finally able to get my oil change. I thought everything was good until I went to get my car inspected...something was wrong with my car. Wrong filter and I had an oil leak (I'm not a car person but I'm pretty sure that was it). So I had to take my car to VW to get the work done correctly. This place was a waste if my time and money. I would never return.

I pulled in and was immediately greeted by a tech to tell me which lane to go in. I only had waited about 5 minutes until the car in front of me was done. I pulled in and the tech was super friendly. I asked a lot of questions and he answered all of them. I believe his name was Nathan and he was one of the assistant managers. I literally sat in my car the whole time and was in and out literally in 10-15 minutes!! They don't just do oil changes, he checked all of my lights, horn, signals etc. Also, if you are a first time customer, you get $5 off! I'm glad I stumbled across this place because I will definitely be coming back!! *This place is also Veteran owned and operated, much respect!*

Very friendly and courteous. Very nice waiting area and 'free' Christian Brothers branded water bottles. Most people understand 'free' things are not actually free . . . that includes the water bottles and 'free' courtesy shuttles. I took my 2010 Mustang there to have the rear brakes repaired - due to a frozen caliper. The 'Diagnostic Test' was $165, which I paid and then took my car out of there as fast as I could. The cost quoted for repair was ludicrous, so I asked if I could supply the parts (I am a former Auto Parts Manager, so am comfortable with this) - they said sure - the quote for just the labor . . . $631.91. Note - the book time for this is 1-1.5 hours. I declined and took it to another shop . . . $280 for labor and that is where the work was done. As mentioned in some other reviews, the 'free' (there's that word again) 'courtesy inspection' came up with every conceivable 'flush/fill' and things like Spark Plug replacement ("due to age of vehicle") even though I replaced them myself a month ago. Total for all the 'courtesy inspection' items . . . ready . . . ready . . . $8,255.59. How about a few more examples: Replace License Plate Light Bulb ($74.50) - I actually just took care of this myself before sitting to write this review ($15 for the pair and about 10 minutes taking my time), Replace Front Struts (parts cost $250 and labor book time 1.2 to 1.6 hours for both sides) . . . $1,456.38. Replace Cabin Air Filter (part cost $15 - labor book time 0.2 to 0.3 hours or 10-15 minutes) . . . $132. Replace valve cover gaskets (part cost $20, labor time 1.5 to 2.5 hours) . . . $632.20. You get the idea. Outrageous pricing . . . but the 'free' bottle of ice-cold water was excellent!

From the moment I called, the experience exceeded my expectations. Jay was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. As someone new to the Richmond area, it was reassuring to have such a positive first interaction with a local business. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and truly focused on providing exceptional customer service. Based on my experience, I can confidently say "Yes--I highly recommend this business and will absolutely return in the future". Thank you for such a great experience. C. Rosser

I am disappointed at how I was received by Kit. It was jarring and strikingly unprofessional…read more Redirections such as "I think we got off on the wrong foot" and "I am not making any statements on your character, I am making an 'i' statement" were repeatedly unsuccessful. Again this is someone whose shirt i complimented, with whom both of us had been cordial, but could not be talked into a calm state. All of this because i leveled with him and expressed nebulously aimed frustration over a job that didn't last for the drive home, as the explanation for why i was asking for a redo. I asked him, "i mean objectively, you can understand why I would expect it to last till i reached home two miles away?". His rumination on the phrase "i felt ripped off" in response to the crashwrap beginning to peel off 0.5 miles from the facility was self-driven. That being said, why even recommend this as a temporary fix if I can't drive home with it? I would've liked it done right the first time and that's fair to express. We don't have to agree or see eye to eye and it's his right to feel I'm overly difficult. It was suggested that I should've cleaned my car first, not that they should've wiped it down the first time before applying wrap. (The car wasn't in the shop to have any crashwrap applied, so why would I have wiped it?) Ultimately I paid $104 to get an issue diagnosed and temporary tape put on the sunroof. I'm frustrated that I'm out $100 and the issue is not any closer to being fixed. The technician himself was amiable and communicative and the owner is also a pleasant man to work with. That being said this experience has burnt this spot for me. Having a disagreeable person work for you isn't a dealbreaker but maybe don't place him front of house.
