The young men working at this jiffy lube laughed in my face and ridiculed me. then had the nerve to wonder why I wait so long to get my car worked on- as a young woman i don't feel like being criticized by men for requesting a service their establishment is supposed to provide. One of the young men said "I was going to say something, but youre a customer so I probably shouldn't". I said youre right you shouldn't say it then. I got an oil change for 5000 miles and the oil light came on at 3300 miles. This has never happened where I usually get my oil changed. They insisted that of they would do a free top off if necessary but when I went to them, they changed their tune completely and that it was my cars fault because it burned oil too quickly. Doesn't even deserve the 1 star I have to give I go in there a week ago and tell them "I only want an oil change, nothing else". First off I had one guy there tell me a price to have oil changed, then another comes out to me and says the oil change is $40 less than the first one told me and that there was a $20 discount on top of that. Give him the key and 5 minutes later guy 1 comes to the waiting area and asks me for the key. The car has moved from where I left it so obviously I don't have it. Then someone else starts trying to get me to buy air filters and brakes. I didn't ask them to go dismantling the car's insides to get to the cabin air filter, I only told them to change the oil. We eventually leave and my son notices a piece of plastic trim sat on the dash in front of him, so we have to turn around and go back (not a very convenient thing to do given the location and medians outside). "What is this and why is it on my dash?" "oh that's the cover for the cabin air filter" "yes, BUT WHY is it on my dash and not covering the cabin air filter?". I never did get an answer to that question. Had them put it back and said to the guy fitting it "you do know that I will NEVER use this company again, don't you?". Only saving grace for the place was that I was given a $25 discount from the higher oil change price (2nd guy didn't know the car couldn't use the conventional oil he'd quoted me for), but no I won't be back. read more

Came in for an oil change and these guys walked me through what they were doing very thoroughly! They took the time to show me how to check my tires with a penny, how to check my brake fluid and walked me how they inspected my brakes and what it meant. I've never had anyone explain in detail why all these things need to be done/ how to check them on my own. So I really appreciate them taking the time to teach me so I can keep an eye on these things myself! Will def come back here in the future! read more

I've held off on posting a review until my car went through its annual VA Inspection to see if what this Jiffy Lube said that needed to be fixed on my car was true- it was not. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation...as they began to rotate my tires, they called me out to the bat where they were working on my car. They pointed to my brakes and told me that I needed to get them fixed immediately. I thought about it for a minute and declined their offer to change my brakes since my vehicle's inspection was up in a month or so. I'm glad I waited because I took my car to a different mechanic doe the annual inspection, thinking I may need née brakes. Much to my surprise, inspection and an oil change took less than an hour. My brake, did not need to be replaced. Essentially, the people at this Jiffy Lube tried to scam me into having them replace my brakes at an high price. They did the same thing to a woman who brought her vehicle in before me...she bit on the scam and had Jiffy Lube change her brakes. Jiffy Lube should be ashamed at themselves for allowing their workers to take advantage of their customers. Do NOT bring you car to this Jiffy Lube unless you want to get scammed into having them replace things that probably do not need to be fixed. read more

Starting this rating annoyed at the mansplaining and the over use of terms like "sweetheart", and "beautiful" by the man helping me today. The ads ons and the fast talking to add bullshit that my car does not need since it literally JUST went through a tune up before I left GA is astounding. I was called over to look at my brake fluid and told to "calm down" when I was already calm..?? The "gentleman" checking me out wanted to give me a lesson about what low brake fluid in my car meant. I told him I didn't have time for a lesson on car maintenance- I was in a hurry. I mean.. that's why we go to JIFFY LUBE.. right? I'm doing responsible maintenance on my car today in the middle of a road trip and based on this location's already shitty rating I'm pretty sure I'm being swindled. I don't know much about my car but luckily for me Daryl G who is the manager at this location was very welcoming and informative, he showed me how to check my brakes and even how to change my oil! Also the Service was extremely fast and I even got a discount!!!, I will always trust the workers at jiffy lube to service my car because they have a very friendly and welcoming environment plus they don't make you feel bad for not knowing anything about your car :) Thanks Daryl! read more

I have used Jiffy Lube in the past and I didn't feel as though I was being taken for a ride. I pulled in and there wasn't anyone there so the guys quickly grabbed my car and started changing the oil, all this was great until they told me the price and at that point it was too late to do anything. All in all I thought the staff was 3 star but they really should tell you the price and give you a chance to decline. After doing a little research and making some calls I realized I over paid about $40. And that was after I got a coupon. I'm a loyal Jiffy Lube customer. Service here on my car was fine as usual, but customer service is lacking. Came back to pick up my car after service and pay, technician told me someone would be with me in a minute. Then waited 10-15 minutes at the desk while being ignored. It was not busy. I'm still a big Jiffy Lube fan but there are locations better than this one. I went in for my oil change today; pretty fast service and pretty reasonable prices for some things. Just a note; it's cheaper to go and get your own oil and filter then going to a place and have them use their oil. Paid 45 bucks for the oil change. Customer service was great. This probably was one of worst experiences. My first time visiting Jiffy Lube and I more than likely will not return. My son went for an oil change and when I asked questions regarding the service. The first encounter was with a man outside who said " Yes" and the would immediately said "wait" when I went to speak. He did this about three times, until I asked him "which one". As I speaking to him a guy comes out the office and starts to help me. He tells me what my son needs, but the problem is he's talking to me with an aggressive tone. At the end he asks me "Are get the car service because I need to get my property out the car". It's not what he said it's all in how he said it. I go to leave and decide to ask for the GM name , he said " What's the problem". I go to explain to him and he tells me he can't share the GM information with me it's personal. I requested the most basic oil change. After an unreasonable amount of time they called me into the office and tried to charge me $104 for an oil change. I had specifically requested the MOST BASIC change. Insulted, I decided to get the oil change elsewhere. "But we've already done the oil change" they complained. So they intentionally performed the MOST EXPENSIVE version of the oil change without my permission. I have never payed more than $40 before this experience. It took a mountain of effort to get the change down to $50 (still the most expensive I've had) but I left there after 2 different employees treated me quite rudely. Ultimately, this dishonesty is part of their business model; they're performing services more expensive than you request and they hope you won't notice. SCAM ARTISTS! AMENDMENT TO REVIEW: As one can see below, the company who owns them commented asking me to call them. I called. They looked up the incident and asked, "What can I do for you?" I said, "Nothing; you asked me to call YOU." They had me repeat my story and said, "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can offer you." I said, "I don't want anything. I didn't ask for anything. Stripped the oil drain plug so now I can't get it out. Simple thing and they messed it up

Went here for my oil change because of convenience to my work, they mentioned I needed a brake flush after so I came back the next day to do that. Big mistake, Jiffy Lube does oil, don't let them do anything else (even their oil change is too expensive). I come in and ask them if they can do the flush within the next hour and of course they accept. $100. They pull me out 10 min later to talk and say that I now need new front brake pads. $150. I accept for some dumb reason and they state it will only take 30-45 minutes. An hour later I pay for everything as I'm in a rush to get back to work now. The guy says they now recommend some other shit to get done next time..there will be no next time. The dude pulls up with my car and is like, yeah you're going to need to get your slider pin fixed.."whoever did your last tire rotation must have broke it..we can do that it's only like $10-15.." How you gonna blame it on someone else when you're obviously the one who worked on that side?? Own up to your shit and at least say that you broke it. Tired of their crap, I go to a coworker's friend down the street at BP. He lays it down to me flat and tells me what it's going to take to fix it, no BS. Wish I would have went to my coworkers before taking my car to these fools over at Jiffy Lube. Shit wasn't even fast, they move so slow back there like wtf. I know I paid too much ($250 + $70 oil change) and they didn't even show me what was done afterwards. Don't go to Jiffy Lube. Ever. And wtf is up with these coupon books? They've given me like 5 of them and it's the same shit. Why not just give everyone a discount instead of wasting time printing these dumbass books. BP down the street does $20 oil changes and the owner, Travis, is a real mechanic who will tell you what you need done without the crap. read more

Had the Oil changed in my daughters car a few weeks, went back for a Top Off, and they told us they had put the WRONG Oil the car , never apologized and then Charged us to correct their problem!! The engine had been burning the oil up and luckily no damage - yet!! Very bad experience. read more

It's alright as long as nothing goes wrong. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience based solely on customer service. Initially service was very good. I had been in once before and just got an oil change and it was fast (a little expensive though) and the people at the service center were friendly. This time, was a completely different story... I went in with a Groupon deal that covered a "signature service" package. It included an oil change, tire rotation, and rain-x windshield service. They got me in quickly and were friendly like before. I rated them on my service sheet with excellent and likely to recommend to friends, though I felt weird doing that right in front of the guys who did my service and before I drove my car again. When I left, my car started pulling drastically to the left, which had never been an issue before (my car also got a major tune up and new tires less than a year ago). I couldn't go back right away so I had to return on a different day, with different mechanics there. When I called to tell them I was coming in again to have them look at it and fix it, the store manager/head mechanic there was incredibly rude and patronizing. I asked that they check the pressure in the tires and if they didn't see anything wrong, to rotate them back to their original position so I could see if it would fix the problem. He basically answered that they'd only tighten lug nuts and then implied that I didn't routinely take care of my car because then it wouldn't be pulling. When I got there I was hustled into the lobby area and they immediately started working on the car without giving me any information. They didn't even look over the tires or check to see if there was a simple problem to fix, they just rotated them back to the original position. I had to go out to the service floor to get any information about what was being done to my car, which earned me a snarky comment about allowing me to watch their every move to see they didn't mess anything up in the first place. It was very uncomfortable. Once they were done, the manager dismissed me with, "Ma'am you can go now." I had to press for info on what was actually done, and he acted as if it was a waste of time to answer my questions. Pretty much all the manager said was "We did what you wanted, and rotated your tires back, Ma'am" and then turned to leave. I had to quickly ask if the tires were rotated back to front or across, to which he answered while walking away and closing a door in my face. There was 1 other car there and no one waiting to pull their car in for service too. It was the worst service I've ever received and I will not be returning. They probably do good work for oil changes and normally nothing would go wrong. If they had handled the situation differently I would have had a completely different opinion. Awful place. Customer service rep was huge jerk. 1. Quoted me $47 for an oil change and charged me over $150. (That is more than the Mercedes dealer charges BTW). 2. Did not turn oil light off. Have to go to the dealer and do that now. Time and money wasted. 3. Messed with my radio. 4. Saw them trying to sell every female customer that walked in the door a new air filter and a bunch or random stuff the did not need. 5. Had wrong name and car on my invoice. 6. Did not clean the car like they said they would. Don't really care... but don't advertise that you vacuum cars and clean windows when you don't. 6. Filled out a complaint form on their website to get a refund and the person who called me back was rude and acted like a total smart ass. Said he could not give me a refund but could give me a gift card. I asked: "to that Jiffy Lube?" {In the most condescending sarcastic tone possible he said}: "Well I can't really give you a gift card to another place as I work for Jiffy Lube." (I meant maybe I could use it at another location.) At that point I just just hung up. Was over it. Would never go there again even if it was free. First I get ripped off then treated like crap from Customer Service. Nice way to run a business. *****I just looked at a review from the Jiffy Lube place down the street and someone mentioned how "condescending" the same customer service rep that contacted me. Went in on my day off for an oil change. Was told that they were short staffed and it would most likely be 45 minutes to an hour. That was fine so I went inside to wait. They ran me through the process, ended up needing to patch a slow leak in my tire so it took a little longer than expected. Two and a half hours later I was finally called to be checked out. The man at the register wasn't outright rude at first but you could tell he was irritated when I pulled out my coupon for $12 off. He plugged in the code and told me it was invalid. Fine. I explained to him that I'd been waiting over two hours and asked what other coupons they had. After finding a $10 off coupon, he printed my receipt and practically threw it at me in his haste to leave the office. He was short and terse when walking me through the payment process and then stormed out. When I went outside to get my car, there were grease stains ALL over the front seat and center console. This has happened before at this location and I specifically asked them to be mindful this time. Unfortunately, I guess being short staffed means you can expect them to be careless as well. I walked back in to see if someone could come clean the seats off and overheard the man who had checked me out complaining to another employee about me. Upon seeing me he immediately walked off. Very unprofessional. One of the other employees offered to clean off the seats but by that point I was ready to leave. Regardless of how convenient it may be to not have to make an appointment, their rude and careless staff really turned me off. I will not be coming back to this location ever again. I think all their crappy ratings on Google are from a competitor or something (same style of writing, anonymous) because I was in and out in less than 20 minutes with no problems, no pushiness, and great customer service. The lady working was very nice, very quick - she even helped me find a coupon online since I forgot to bring mine with me. They didn't try to upsell me on anything, in fact, they were more honest with me about what my car needed and how often I actually need an oil change than anywhere else I've been. My only complaint is that they forgot to put the mileage sticker on my window (the reminder sticker, whatever it's called). Otherwise - I'll definitely be going back! read more
