went there to get a belt changed. they told me they put on the belt and that it needs engine repair for 4-5k. i said no and when i got the car back the belt wasnt even on it. Their top priority, recommended service for my car was not even needed for my car, and they quoted me an astronomical price for it. They told me there was a problem where there was no problem. I declined the work, and as I was checking out, I was still charged for diagnostics, which was also high. I went to another reputable company that I normally use, they confirmed Turner's diagnostics were bunk. I'm back on the road with a solution that cost me 1/6 of what Turner's wanted to charge me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, they took my appointment which was at the beginning on the day and did not communicate with me in the work day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to call them, and then, they had not event completed the basic diagnostics. Do not go to this shop for engine replacement. If I could have given it a negative star review I would have. After almost $5,000 on a replacement engine which they did such a horrible job not just the workmanship but they also voided the warranty on my engine. They failed to perform the required work that was listed on the paperwork in order to keep the warranty on the engine. Had nothing but problem after problem for months on end. No one there could figure out what was going on and they could not fix it. They just kept charging us visit after visit sensor after censor because all they did was run codes. During one of the many visits we found out that this was their very first Volvo that they had ever worked on. They should have denied taking this job since they had no clue what to do. But no they saw the dollar signs and got greedy and now I have a vehicle that is useless and a total loss. Besides the 5000 for the engine replacement the value of the vehicle itself is gone so I've lost over $10,000. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we demanded a response no one has even bothered to return a phone call or reply to our demand letter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Therefore I am now posting the reviews on every platform I can get to in addition to local news, the better Business bureau and other consumer protection agencies in addition to of course the lawsuit. Since nobody wants to respond they'll have to answer in court. Jonathan and his team were quick to diagnose my issue and provide a solution. I wasn't given the run around and the issue turned out to be exactly what I expected it to be. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Being a female, it can be intimidating going into these auto shops not knowing if someone will actually help you or try to scam you. My vehicle's engine light came on when I was in route back to Alabama and I could not get an appointment at the dealership. I looked on Yelp, read the reviews, made a petition to God, and Turner's Auto Service seemed like a good fit. I drove over and was greeted by Joe who was a very nice and personable young man. He asked how he could he could help and I explained my situation. He gave me the best and worse scenario and within a half hour my car was being looked at by Austin. Austin returned and gave me an update and reassured me that I could make it home but also gave me instructions of what I may need to do should I have any additional difficulties.
