I damaged the front bumper cover and foglight assembly of my 1999 Audi, (bought new and kept in perfect condition for 26 years). A "main stream" body shop said they couldn't get parts anymore and couldn't make the repairs. I was afraid I might have to part out my car over a bumper cover. The main stream shop referred me to Dayz. Dayz did a beautiful and perfect repair re-using the existing bumper cover, somehow making and finding new attachment clips, and also found parts from various online sources to repair the damaged fog light and its socket, the pop up headlight washers, and even plastic welded the cracked washer reservoir. The car was returned fully detailed inside and out and looks showroom perfect. They are very creative, resourceful, friendly and the price was very reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased and am grateful that they were able to fix everything and help me keep my classic Audi up and running. read more

I was met with such kindness and warmth in doing business here. My car looks flawless after they were done with it (brand new!). They made the whole process with dealing with insurance and getting my car fixed very easy. I love going to family-owned businesses for this exact reason. Johanna and Miguel were so personable and lovely to talk to. They even went the extra mile to give me an estimate of a few small scratches on the side of my car from a previous incident. Unbelievably great. My side mirror nicked a post in an alley, and it took the mirror and casing off. Another shop told me it would be several weeks before it could be looked at for an estimate, so I called Dayz in the morning and they said I could swing by at 2PM. I got in there at 2:15 and Johanna looked at my car right away, went and got Miguel, and Miguel immediately fixed the thing in about five minutes. It is now working as good as new. He refused to take a payment even though I insisted. I had tried to do it myself but it wasn't staying on, so I was prepared to pay a reasonable amount even for a simple fix like this. Even though it didn't take much time, he would have been within his rights to charge me, and I insisted on paying more than once. I will be going back here for any auto body work I need in the future, and I will be telling everyone I know to do the same. These are good people running an honest business. read more

Came in to get my 370z nismo rear bumper painted. Miguel me 250$ for everything, said he'll do it in three days. Exactly 3days later, he rings me up. Says it's done. Unfortunately I wasnt able to pick it up that day. And my only available time was on a day that the shop was closed. Miguel said no problem, he'll come in on an off day just so I can pick up the bumper. The bumper came out perfect, and exactly the way I expected/wanted it to look. We beat up a door on our 10-year old minivan. Dayz gave us an estimate based on pictures, got us in for repairs in a few weeks, kept the car exactly as long as they projected, and did a fabulous job of repairing it. They were very easy to work with, friendly, and honest. Their price was considerably lower than two other shops because they realized they could replace the "skin" and not the entire door. Since the car is pretty old, I wondered how well they could match the paint, but it matches perfectly. Miguel even gave me a small bottle of touch up paint for some chips on other parts of the car. A++++++++ all the way... I was visiting family over the Christmas Holiday and had a small issue with a car I was borrowing. Basically, no structural damage other than the plastic grill was cracked and missing some plastic. Not sure how/where it happened, but wanted to see if I could get it handled directly in short order. Needless to say, I researched on Yelp and found Johanna and Miguel (Owner's) at Day's Auto Body. I dropped an email to them through Yelp late at night and got a reply quickly to stop by in the morning to review the issue and repair. I had one day to get this handled and was able to confirm that Miguel could get it all handled. Since I was on a time crunch as I was leaving town in 2 days. I was able to physically get the replacement parts at a local dealer and make sure there were no time delays or issues due to the holiday or part number error. I got the parts and drove back to Miguel before they were closing and we unboxed them together to confirm proper fitment and we agreed to all details of the installation. I told him I could be available anytime to meet their schedule and we agreed to the very next morning right before they opened and I hung out in their cozy front office while he worked his magic. I was literally out of there in less than 2 hours. This is one of those rare times when proper discussion and communication all worked out and I did everything I told him I would do and he came through on his end to get me handled and in and out in no time and solved a problem that was ruining our vacation. Super Nice people and family owned, honest. I love doing business with people like this that communicate and we were on the same page throughout this time constrained matter. Where to begin- the only positive thing that came from this repair was the replacement part this new and shiny, that's if you catch it from the right angle, if you don't ohhh boy you'll see the poor welding job thats bumpy not smooth and seamless as it should be. The molding/ seal job was a here take it and you better not complain about it sad job and all this time I thought professionals are suppose to pay attention to the details. But the list of problems goes on- I got plenty of mix match or just parts that came off another vehicle on mines now, which were part that you had to take off just to get to the problem part and simply put back on. But I didnt notice most of it until I got home. Stupid me, I should had carefully looked at my entire car before leaving the shop, so please Don't Be Like Me and the sad thing about it I know better, I was off my game. read more

I scratched my new-ish car on a cement column in a parking garage--it was pretty bad (large scratches, covering a good portion of the door, took off all the paint down to the metal; even caused a small dent in the door). I needed to get it fixed and did not want to go through insurance. Read the google and yelp reviews of Dayz; I contacted them fully expecting to take my car by so they could see the damage and give me a quote. They were able to give me a quote via text using just pictures (impressive and very convenient). The price seemed very fair and several friends told me it was a great price for the extent of the work that needed to be done. Based on that, I went ahead and booked with them without even getting a second quote (especially considering so many reviews say they beat the competition in price; which I'm confident is accurate). They were able to work with my schedule and I got my car into them two days later. It took 3.5 days to complete. They were so professional and so nice and accommodating. They gave me an exact time to pick up the car and it was ready right on time. They even cleaned the car inside and out! The job was immaculate. You couldn't even tell there had been deep scratches. I was driving a new 2015 SUV just 26 months when the car was broadsided by a deer, damaging two doors, a front side panel and headlight. AMAZING. We brought our car into Day'z to fix the paint job, it was scratched up due to shoveling and some contact. They were prompt to call me back, to get me an estimate and to make an appointment. The car went in for 4 days, (I received a call a day ahead of time to ensure it would be ready) and came out beautifully. Manuel was not happy with his job and offered to redo the car for me because he saw a slight tint difference between the old shade of paint and the new coat. I was so impressed and baffled that they would even offer to do this, for free, and would work faster than the first time. Manuel was saying he would work overtime in order to get the car completed in just 2 days. He truly looked disappointed in the end result even though I could tell NO difference at all. We took the car for the weekend, to see if we ever saw a difference in paint shade in different lighting but we just couldn't see it. While I appreciate Manuel's honesty and integrity, we LOVED the car the first time and couldn't justify him going through so much more work for the slightest difference (that I don't think anyone will ever notice unless they do body work for a profession). Fantastic job!! My front bumper and fender had taken damage and needed to be repaired. Based off of the other positive reviews, I decided to go with Day'z and definitely made the right decision. I called ahead the day I planned to drop off my vehicle and let the owner I would be coming from work so I might be cutting it a little close to their close time and I wanted to see if that would be okay. He offered to stay late to do an estimate of the car's damage and told me not to rush- even though it was the end of the day he took time to do a thorough estimate and walked me through all of my options. Once repairs were made, I picked up my car and not only did the outside look absolutely perfect, someone had taken the time to detail the inside of the car (honestly it looked better than when I normally take it to the carwash).
