My feet soaked for less than two minutes before the technician got started. The last regular pedicure I had (at another local salon four weeks ago) left my feet feeling baby soft and pampered. While I may have had to use a personal hotspot to connect to wifi there, I didn't need to worry that the tech was taking advantage of my distraction. I've been rushing around today, preparing for vacation, but now that I've taken a moment to truly look at my feet: I spent nearly $50 for a polish change and a chair massage. I've had a few over the years and given my feet are anything but photo ready, probably not even sandal ready, I agreed. Almost like she didn't want to deal with a chubby 60 year old white guy. Having your feet and calves "rejuvenated" is almost an intimate experience. Perhaps some small talk or at least an acknowledgment when spoken to is in order. Bottom line, I'll likely go back. Good job on my feet. Be aware, no tips on credit cards, so bring cash for that. Don't use no cash as an excuse for no tip. I've seen other reviewers complain about the price. I guess I'm a clueless man. $50 to tame my toes seemed almost like a value. Almost.

During the manicure I had to ask several times for polish cleanup and cuticle trimming and he eventually told me to just go to someone else. I am not someone who gets upset easily but I left feeling embarrassed and emotional. I still tipped well and left quietly but it was a strange and upsetting experience. I do not live here so I will not be back but I hope no one else is made to feel that way.
