In my quest to try all great ice cream shops in the world, I visited this one near closing time on…read morea weekend. It's in a shopping plaza with lots of parking. The interior is decked out with circus-themed items (mostly on the walls), red-checkered floors and lots of circus monkeys. I sampled many flavors like the dark chocolate chunk, vegan coconut sticky rice, passionfruit apricot pistacio, strawberry matcha, vanilla strawberry blondie, and salted caramel honeycomb among others. I was originally going to order my usual of 2 scoops in a cup, but their offerings are slightly different and actually priced higher than competitors at $9.50 for two scoops. However, that is the pricing with a waffle cone. Their menu did not indicate the cost if you order the ice cream in a cup instead, nor did I ask. Luckily for me, Sundays are a great day to come when they have $10 sundaes, which includes 3 scoops of your choosing. I chose the dark chocolate chunk, strawberry matcha, and the vanilla strawberry blondie. This ended up being a very filling dessert after eating all the brownie chunks as well which come with the sundae. Service was friendly, and there was ample seating inside. They should consider adding seating outside though. Overall, it did not overtake my top spot in the Woodlands, but they are certainly a good option if you're in the area.

I ventured to this location and while I knew the cookies wouldn't be the freshest (I bought a too good to go box), the customer service experience was weird. She wasn't that friendly, didn't answer the phone when I called en route and was picking and choosing cookies to give me in and out the box. It was kind weird; typically that's already decided before you get there. Like would you have served these cookies to someone full price. Idk just stating. Prettier store front than the Mueschke location though.

As I was walking the lot of LA DOUGH SWEETS, I kept smelling sweats. I looked around and there it was, La Dough Sweets, like a mirage in the desert. I first peeked in the window and saw Mrs. D smiling at me like Grandma who hadn't seen her granddaughter in a few months. I went inside and we started chatting about how she had started her cookie business and the types of cookies she offered. My goodness, my sweet tooth was begging me for some cookies in one ear, while diabetes was rubbing its hands at me in the other. Diabetes won, and my sweet tooth called me a punk. Satisfaction, however, said, "It's okay, just flush it out with plenty of water." Her cookies are so much better than Crumble Cookies who now I will cheat on with La Dough Sweets. Just look at my pictures and the huge smile on my face. Here today, Yelping tomorrow!

Overall, a really good bubble tea for a classic flavor. If you're newer to bubble tea, I do think that taro is a really good starter one, and the purple is also just very pretty. The boba is on the more pricey side, with a drink pricing around $8. The store also sells different Korean foods like mochi donuts, or Korean corn dogs, so you can also get a quick snack. I didn't personally order any of them, but they did seem to be really good options. There are some tables of seating inside with some side tables, and some counter stools. The whole place, probably fits around 10 people worth of seating. It seems more of a grab and go location. Depending on what time you go, the café can get really busy. We went around 9 PM at night and there was only one worker, it took around 15 to 20 minutes to get all of our orders out. Keep this in mind! Parking was easy, they have a lot outside with other different restaurants in a strip mall.

It's located in the Kroger shopping strip and there's plenty of parking. Plenty. They offer samples of their chocolate bark- don't skip out on this. The second time I came, I left with a bark of s'mores. Their bark pieces are huge! Now to the milkshakes: First time I went I had their cookie brownie fudge. They top it with a piece of chocolate bark and the drink is served pretty fast. Loved the thickness of the shake but was very disappointed by the brownie taste. Pieces of brownie that tasted old. Ruined the shake. Second time- even though the first time was a disappointment- I went back to show support. I had their chocolatier and this one was much better compared to the first one. There was a lot of chocolate chips (they didn't skim on that) and again the shake was thick and creamy. The place is a pricey- $14 for a bark and shake, but it's good every one in awhile.

We have been going on rides in and around The Woodlands since we got the Harley Trike, usually getting an ice cream from DQ near the end of the ride. Tonight we started the ride with milk shakes from The Milkshake Factory. This is a BIG STEP UP from Dairy Queen near the house. I got the mint chip shake ($6.95) and my Wife got a plain Chocolate shake (also 6.95). After getting our shakes (in under two minutes) we headed outside to a bench nearby to enjoy them. Mine was creamy with bits of chocolate bouncing up a rather large bore straw that held firm to a big pull. Apparently someone at Corporate has a clue about what constitutes a proper milkshake straw. I tried a sip of my Wife's chocolate shake and it was also creamy with a chocolaty finish that let you know it was milk chocolate. Both of these were premium shakes that did not disappoint the taste buds or texture of the pull. While I would not go here often, the shakes are rich, I would make it a place to consider for an after meal treat from time to time. Their menu is large for a speciality shop and their chocolate bar samples were tasty as well. They are in the Kroger Shopping Center off of Gosling and Research Forest on the Shadowbend side of Kroger. Most nights they are open until 10pm. Go grab a shake and see just how good a premium milkshake can be. Ciao, Darrell

1 out of 5 -- Disappointing Experience Despite Keto Excitement…read more As someone on keto, I was genuinely excited to try Half Baked's keto cookie options -- it's hard enough finding good keto-friendly sweets, and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly from the moment I walked in. When I entered, there was no one at the front counter, so I waited a few seconds and looked around. Eventually, a lady came out from the back. I politely asked if they were open since it seemed empty, and she replied, "Is the door open?" -- in a snippy, sarcastic tone. Not the warmest start. As I tried to place my order, she cut me off mid-sentence and said, "All the prices are on the board." I'm not sure if she thought I was questioning prices or couldn't afford it, but it came off rude and dismissive. I decided to just order and leave at that point. The first two cookies I asked for were unavailable because they were out of the keto icing, so I told her to just give me any four keto cookies that were available. I asked about the keto bazookie, and she said it had to be ordered 15 minutes in advance -- fair enough. I decided to skip it and left with my cookies. Now, for the food review: * Chocolate Chip (Keto): 8/10 - Easily the best one. Soft, rich, and satisfying for a keto treat. I'd recommend this one. * Peanut Butter (Keto): 3/10 - Way too much peanut butter; I had to chase it down with water. * Sugar Cookie (Keto): 2/10 - Overly sweet and tasted like it was rolled in stevia or another artificial sweetener. * Double Chocolate Chip (Keto): 7/10 - Pretty good flavor and texture, no complaints. * Crème Brûlée (Keto) - Couldn't really judge since it was missing the icing/topping. My friend ordered from the regular (non-keto) menu and had mixed feelings: * Walnut Chocolate Chip: 10/10 - He said it was one of the best cookies he's ever had. * Double Chocolate Chip: 1/10 - Too sweet, he took one bite and tossed it. Overall, I'd rate the customer service a 1/10 and the overall visit a 1/5. I really wanted to like this place, and the cookies themselves had potential -- especially for keto options -- but the rude and dismissive service ruined the experience. I hope this was just an off day for the employee and not something deeper, involving race but either way, the attitude left a bad impression. It's a shame, because I would've loved to come back to try the keto bazookie and the cookies that were missing icing.
