Filing Options
Amanda O.

After purchasing a Latte at a nearby coffee shop I was craving a pastry to go with it. However, since I am not a big sweets fan I did not want something major and decided to stop here. To my surprise, they had assorted flavored eclairs with filings. I thought it would be the usual filing known, but they had much more than that. The filings that stuck out to me were Strawberry Cheese Cake and Green tea. Since, I chose the Coconut eclair I paired it with green tea. From the moment I tried it I feel in love! It was the perfect pastry with crispiness, flavor and the pastry feel without the overbearing sweetness of a normal pastry. The young lady who took the order was very kind. This is the perfect place to relax and lounge with a good read or just some time to catch up on emails. I will definitely be back to try the other puffs! Perfect for anyone that has a craving for a light snack.

The atmosphere is fine. The man at the counter tried to be helpful, but didn't do a great job of explaining. My husband and I each picked our puff and our filling. They were fine, but pretty underwhelming. For a store to be based around one pastry, I really expected them to be amazing. They were fine, but I thought a bit expensive for what I got, and just not that memorable. Disappointed.

Creme Brulee

I typically order ahead, but even in person the cream puffs come out quickly and the cream does not compromise the texture of the outer shell. My favorite is the creme brulee and the creams are never too sweet. A nice study space, thought their drinks are pretty mediocre.

I thought this place was for beard oils!! I love a good eclair and this place did not disappoint. I've been plotting the idea of checking this place out ever since I noticed it on the Door Dash app. The place is spacious and not a lot of people there. The associates working seemed friendly even though it was hard to hear what was being said through the glass and the mask . Luckily for them I knew what I wanted and I got the s'mores and chocolate eclairs both filled with chocolate. I planned to save the strawberry one for a snack at work the next day, but judging by how fast that s'more eclair disappeared, somehow in the blink of an the strawberry chocolate filled eclair disappeared too ‍. Needless to say, Beard Papa does a great job so I'll be back.

Love the multiple options of the eclairs. You get to choose the bread part and the filling to go inside. It was very good and the customer service was good.

Oreo Cookie Cream Puffs and Smores cream puff

I went fifteen minutes before closing and was glad to see there were still some flavors available. I got the Oreo crumble cream puff with vanilla cream and s'mores cream puff with chocolate cream. Since it was the end of the day, they were a bit hard, but still tasted great.

Been looking for an opportunity to try this place and it finally came. Clean, well decorated and yet virtually empty. Staff were very pleasant and quick to explain their product, cream puffs. You pick the outside and fill it with one of 4 creams, vanilla, chocolate, green tea and the flavor of the month. This month features mixed berries. The combos are tasty but I would love to see a custard as an option. Pro tip, buy only what you can eat immediately. These do not hold up long and become soggy within hours.

beard papa's cream puff is one of my ultimate guilty pleasures. i've fallen in love with their sweets ever since i tried it in bellaire but it's never that accessible to me due to the drive. i can't believe that there's one in spring! i visited the shop and LOVED the inside! it was very clean and cute. the service i review was also great, the ladies at the counter were very sweet. i suggest trying the green tea cream puff with cream tea filling! it's not too sweet :)) the one of the picture is the s'mores cream puff with vanilla filling

Everything is sweet & adorable!

Adorable specialty bakery, serving giant cream puffs. You choose your shell & customize the custard filling. Friendly service & sweet treats that match the even sweeter inspo story of "Beard Papa."

And what better place than the shop I used to go to back in the 90's. Now I've never been to the woodlands location before. It's in that waterway district near the mall and so parking was sure to be a B. But this being thanksgiving week it actually wasn't half bad. The shop is smaller than the Richmond location. But that's just more goodness compressed into a TLP. There are no birthday specials alas. But they did have some free samples of tiramisu. It was good but I had to get my favorites. J's birthday cake and the Big O. The birthday cake is thicker like brownie than some of the other chocolate cakes. I can't describe the frosting this go around because my punk kid at all the frosting off it while my attention was focused on the Big O. But the cake part was moist. As for the Big O it was Ooooohhh. No When Harry Met Sally diner scene experience. But it was F'n awesome. Staff was super helpful and nice. Wanted to eat more but my blood sugar wouldn't tolerate it.

There were a small set of tables to sit inside and enjoy your treats if you wanted to. We got a variety of things to share, tres leches (this is okay, a little sweet and pretty standard), tiramisu, pecan pie bar (delicious but crumbly/messy to eat), Oreo truffles and confetti truffles (my nieces and nephew absolutely loved these)! It was pretty pricey, but always happy to support local businesses!

Lacking in flavor and overpriced. $20 for a combo. Lemon chicken soup was not good I ended up not eating it. It had a thick consistency with shredded pieces of chicken. Baklava was good My mom said the chocolate cake was OK. She likes the lemon square also and said it was not too sweet. Overall the place was just ok. Nothing to run to. Greek food is my favorite and I've tried better places. I did notice that they had Pakistan good as well as Indian. If I do return, I may try the butter chicken next time.

Euro Bakery makes custom cakes, desserts, & pastries. Many of their cakes are displayed for purchase at the counter as well as pastries and more. Perfect spot for lunch, enjoying a treat, or grabbing coffee. Besides desserts, they also have a full kitchen menu. I loved the chicken sandwich. They were out of croissants but I actually really enjoyed it on pita. The gyro sandwich was also really good. Fast and friendly service, really great prices! My sandwich was right around $8. Parking onsite. Nice interior dining space. It did seem like they were out of quite a few items on the menu but I think Hurricane Beryl might have contributed to that and is understandable. The lady we ordered with also gave us a complimentary pistachio baklava to try when we ordered their original baklava, which we thought was super nice. We will definitely go back and keep them in mind next time we need a custom cake!

You know, it gives gourmet without being pretentious. The bakery alone puts Common Bond in this category. If you can resist dessert order from the display case, I'm not sure you're human! I'd been to one in Houston before, but just for coffee, but I had a good experience there, so I was down to try their food. There were a ton of great sweet and savory options on the menu, so ordering was a challenge, but we ended up grabbing a pretty big combination of both types of sustenance. Savory: I ordered the breakfast burger and it was really great. Normally I feel like an egg takes away from the flavor of a burger, but that was not the case here. I'm really pleased with my choice here, despite the temptation to go with several alternatives. 5-stars. My wife ordered the soft scramble, and I'll give it this: it was most definitely the softest, most gentle collection of eggs I've ever eaten. But I think I like my rendition of scrambled eggs better. 4-stars. Sweet: Pistachio Croissant: All boxes checked. 5-stars. Snickerdoodle Cookie: I offer all of my praise for this delight. 5-stars. Gingerbread whoopie pie: It wasn't called a whoopie pie, but that's what it was. Like the snickerdoodle cookie, I'm mad I had to share this. 5-stars. Coco-nut cookie: We thought this was a chocolate coconut cookie, but it turns out it was chocolate and nuts. Knowing this information, we would have opted for one of the other, more delicious looking cookies. It was still fine though. 3.5-stars. Drinks: I ordered the dragon fruit berry concoction with my meal, and in a rare moment of weakness, I couldn't resist the maple pecan cold brew, despite ordering black coffee 99% of the time. I'm here to say I enjoyed both of them very much, but the latter did taste more like a milkshake than a coffee. 5-stars for both, but I would definitely order the dragonfruit thing again. Way to go, Common Bond. Here I thought you were just a coffee place this whole time, but your food is pretty, pretty good too.
