I'm not gonna lie. I was very skeptical about this place. At first glance, it's very modern - doesn't look like other places around town. I wouldn't exactly describe the place as quaint and if you're looking for a quiet evening out, chances are you're not going to find it here. This is a brewery that serves way above par pub fare. The burgers we had were phenomenal. The wait staff were on point and so accommodating. Actually, all the staff we interacted with were very nice and enthusiastic. The place was loud (mostly those in the group I was with were the loudest) and the atmosphere is fun. The brightly lit dining room and covered patio are great areas to have a beer and a burger (or one of their scrumptious appetizers)...but the highlight of this place is the beer. Oh man, you can't go wrong with any of their choices. Again, this is a BREWERY that brews BEER. If you're hankerin' for some other type of alcohol, this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, if you like beer, you gotta check this place out!! read more

Bear King had their soft opening today and had a large crowd. The staff did an excellent job of getting folks in the door and to tables. The food orders were taken quickly and arrived quickly and the food was excellent. We had the burgers with truffle fries and really enjoyed the beer. This is going to be a real asset to Marble Falls. They have both a very nice bright and airy indoor area as well as a open outdoor covered Beer Garden (should be great when warmer weather is here). We look forward to visiting again when they are open in the coming weeks. read more

Stopped in again today... GREAT food as always- had the turkey burger and chips and queso, beer is great- had a hazy IPA. This place is a consistently great brewery that is light and bright. It seemed like the employees were a little more cheerful today than last visit despite it being busy. We will continue to come to this great brewery that Marble Falls is lucky to have!! read more

Stopped in for a late lunch on our way to Horseshoe Bay. First of all the service is fantastic. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The food is fantastic. We had the Asiago Dry Rub wings, and an order of truffle fries. The wings were some of the best I have ever had, very juice and huge. It was accompanied by homemade ranch, nothing out of a jar here! The truffle fries were to die for, and the garlic mayo was great. Last but not least, the beer was amazing. Everything I tried from the IPA, Blonde, Pale Ale, and Hefeweizen was awesome. We went to the Saturday soft opening. We have been looking forward to this place opening for months! We got to try their blonde. It was crisp and delicious and everything I wanted it to be l. They only had one beer on tap due to the soft opening. We also got to try several of their menu items even though they had a reduced menu for the soft opening. Our favorite thing was the wings. Very much looking forward to this new addition to marvel falls and can't wait to see what other delicious beers they come out with. read more

It's our second visit. The food and beer is great. The ordering and payment method is atrocious. Look around and watch everyone struggle with it. We wanted an appetizer prior to our meal and everything came all at once. Other than delivery you don't get service. Upon our exit I asked if they would go back to serving the customer in the future and the gentleman said no. We will continue to use the AP to order and pay. So if you need to ask a question or get a recommendation on what to order I would go elsewhere. The management is not self aware of their patrons needs. We had seen the restaraunt being built and this was our first chance to visit. We had nachos, pouteen fries, and a pimento cheese burger. Everything was great. The pickles for the burger tasted house made. The fries were delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. In Covid, they had safety in control. Loved this place! We stopped on our way home from Fredricksberg and were delighted to find they allow dogs on their patio! Ordered the Hefeweizen and raspberry ale styles of beers and they were both delicious! Husband had the burger and I had (half portion) salad and they were both huge portions! WOW! We happened onto this place while camping at Inks. We have our dog with us when we travel and prefer "dog friendly" places. We called and Cat answered, come to find out Cat loves dogs and so does #BearKingBrewing. The place is super clean and the patio is very comfortable for your furry friend. We have waited so long and we were lucky enough to have been able to attend Friday's soft opening. Only one option available to taste but that was ok by me, I would rather wait for your best of each brew instead of y'all rushing it to tap. We enjoyed your brew as well as the food. Ok, I understand that this is a soft opening. The restaurant is really nice inside. Well finished and great attention to detail. We were greeted by one of the owners. He was very friendly. My wife asked what kind of wine they had??? No wine...only beer. Not good.... We found a table and were told that we had to go to the counter to order the beer and to another counter to order the food....then given a beeper to notify us when to go back to the counter to pick it up. The menu was "bar food". Wings, burgers, tacos etc. I ordered the "jumbo" wings and my wife ordered another appetizer. 45 mins later my beeper went off! Yay! The wings were no doubt the tiniest wings that I have ever had and severely overcooked (soft opening") and inedible. I saw several burgers at some of the other tables. They were extremely small and I heard people complaining about them. If you are going to open a new restaurant and serve burgers, you should go to Bills, Chilies, River City or R Grill to see what the competition is offering. These burgers were not even close to the competition ( maybe soft opening?) We left and went to Enoteca across the street to have "dinner". Our server said that she had already served several couples that had also left BearKing to finish their "dinner" orders. I hope they get it together. Really excited to try this place out after hearing great reviews but as someone who use to be in this industry the one thing I was always trained on was that no matter how busy you are you always greet a guest with at least a "we will be right with you" definitely don't walk by guests stare at them and keep walking or continue your conversation after looking up and making eye contact. One star based on covid precautions and our inability to order food. You have to order food online, cannot call and place an order, and their wifi was not working and therefore unable to order food and staff would not make any other accommodation to help us place an order for food. Was going to dine in and eat but ending up leaving and not ordering anything because we were unable to. Will not be back. read more

My husband and I went there for the first time last Sunday. It was clean and neat fun place. The staff was very courteous and well educated on the products. We did not eat but looks like you have a good menu watch some of the food coming out. We drank several of the beers. Love the outdoor patio and pet friendly atmosphere. A very good experience....beers were excellent....burgers were GREAT and cooked perfectly to perfection! Bear King is a good addition to the Marble Falls selection of restaurants...You CAN BRING YOUR OWN WINE!....just a small corking fee. Fries, Burgers, Tacos, which we all ordered, were excellent.... The atmosphere is casual...I suggest if you want a quieter atmosphere, sit inside...the outside is somewhat noisy, but, it is what it is....a gathering place for friends where you can relax with a beer and burger. read more

They make one of the best burgers (Legendary Burger) I have ever had. Its simple,juicy, and you can taste the meat. I do a lot of driving for work and whenever I am in the area, I will stop here for that. Their selection of beers is large and brewed in-house. My favorite is the Hefeweizen. Would like to be giving this place higher marks. The beer is good. The staff is nice enough. The building is nice and we enjoyed the live music. It's just an awkward set up. When you walk in, you have no idea where to go. The signs that say Order Here have no one to order from. That's also where you would check out games and buy merchandise, but again, no one's there. You go to the back by the itemized beer sign, where one person takes your food and beverage order. That line backed up quite a bit while we were there. You're given one of those light up things that tells you when your food is ready, and then you go up to the counter to get it. There was one person bringing out the food to the counter, and sometimes she was back in the kitchen for awhile. We saw many confused people go up with their flashing thing, wait and stare at the food that was there & then finally take it, even if it wasn't all of their order. It wasn't super busy, and our food took 45 minutes. He said it was the veggie burger taking so long ‍. Not understanding that. The review would be 2 stars if the food for the most part hadn't been delicious. I was the only one with an issue. I had the spinach salad with "fajita chicken." It had a cold, sliced chicken breast on it that barely had any flavor. If the menu just said "chicken" I wouldn't have liked it anyway, but I wouldn't have been as disappointed. On our way out I had to explain to a confused couple standing at the entrance how the process worked. read more

Environment is great but the food not so much. Had the Cali Tacos which were more condiments than meat. I got several bites of slaw alone. My wife had the Texas Poutine, which lacked what they call "cheese poutine". It was pretty much just regular fries with 7, 1x1 inch pieces of over cooked brisket. We also had the queso as an appetizer which is spicy and lacked flavor. Really disappointed with the food but perfect place for some beer and music! read more

I ordered a brisket sandwich to go and asked for the onions and pickles on the side. I also asked if bbq sauce came on it. the man at the register said yes and explaied how they have a bbq new sauce. After i left i looked in the bag and container and there were no pickles or onions so i went back and told them. they apologized and gave me a baggie with the onions and pickles. i got home opened everything and found 3 small pickle slices, no pickled onions just regular ones and my sandwich was dry. No bbq sauce. No sauce of any kind on it. So a dry sandwich for 14 dollars wasnt even enjoyable. What a waste. read more

Loved it. Only had one beer on tap today, but they are so young. I'm sure with time they will thrill us with full taps. Food was great! Add this brewery to your beer trail, it's on the way to Real Ale in Blanco. Very, very nice facility. Crowd was friendly, a nice mix of locals and tourists.
