Was driving from Dallas to San Antonio, pulled over to get a burger. Went through the drive through and ordered double burger with grilled jalapeno and no onions. We waited a bit and the employee apologized, but it wasn't too long. Food: The burger was beautiful to look at. Everything there. It was temperature hot. Cheese perfectly melted and all the toppings perfectly fresh and there. And it seemed bigger than other locations. I was a big shocked that 2 burgers was $23, but everything is expensive these days. 0/5 I came to get food cause I was craving a burger and a shake and after waiting at the speaker for 10 minutes I pulled to the window because I thought maybe it was broken. Once I pulled up to the window I noticed the few workers inside seemed to ignore me and all head to the back of the kitchen. I parked and tried to go in the lobby, but the doors were locked and a worker inside on his phone pointed to the drive thru. I drove 40 minutes for this and just wanted my craving In their defense there are signs saying they are understaffed, but don't be open if your workers don't want to answer orders! Lol read more

Family getting together for Thanksgiving. Our son and his wife wanted "breakfast at Whataburger". They don't have any stores in Ohio. So had their breakfast tacos (Taquito's). Yep sausage egg and cheese- others had potatoes eggs and cheese. Don't forget to get some potatoes. Take out only - long drive through line but worth it. I worked here when I was a teenager. My mom came in and ordered a chicken sandwich, which I made really well, knowing what my mom would enjoy (since she ordered it). The manager looked at my mother, walked over and asked it that was my mother, scraped everything off sandwich into the trash and made me give my mom a soggy, greasy, cold leftover piece of shit "sandwich" with just mayo and lettuce. My mother doesn't eat mayonnaise. The lack of care and respect for customers and their orders shown in this instance was just a drop in the bucket of very serious reasons I'd not recommend this place. Decades later, thinking of my time at this place still makes me feel a combination of revulsion and greasiness. Finally, because of the events that took place at this location while I was employed there, which bother most to this day, I hope that if you have an underaged daughter, you never let her apply to work here. read more

I go to this Whataburger ever. Sunday and order the same thing. When I got home the biscuit and gravy was prepared already, meaning someone open the biscuit and poured the gravy over. WTF!?!? This is a curbside pickup, so I called and talked to the manger Kristin (sp) I explained it and she said No Sir! I made that order myself! With tone and attitude!!!!! I tried to explain what I saw in the bag and she HUNG UP! Is this high school? Is this how Whataburger trains their managers. This is the closest location to me and I want to love this place, but the service has been questionable. One time during a drive thru order, I got a drink and the cup had a hole, and my entire car console got soaked. In December I brought some family to get the limited edition Dr. Pepper shakes and were told they weren't available yet the signage was everywhere throughout the restaurant and driveway. I've requested that my app get scanned during an order and when it wasn't, I was told sorry and the employee refused to do anything to correct it. On another trip, the same employee brought my food out for a curbside order and when I came back inside to request my onion rings, she was like "oh I forgot" and could've cared less about the mistake. I've worked retail and customer service and I get that we have off days, yet these types of experiences shouldn't be a recurring theme. Going to a fast food place is kind of a treat now that it's getting pricey, all we want is our order to be correct and people to attempt to fix something if it's wrong. read more

Terrible customer service. Walked up to the counter and two workers were having a conversation. Neither could be bothered to do their job and continued talking, even after a fellow coworker pointed out twice that I was standing there. Another coworker who was on break had to leave what he was doing to come take care of me. Also, I asked for four ketchups and was assured that they would be there. Took my order to go, opened the bag in my truck, no ketchup. On top of workers who value conversations about personal life over customers, I got over cooked chicken and crispy bread. Went to the Whataburger in Marble Falls tonight. After being in quarantine for a month and cooking nonstop, I was really looking forward to taking the night off and having a favorite..Whataburger. What a disappointment!! All burgers were cold, fries were old, hard and cold and my husbands burger was wrong (no cheese). I was so excited but was hugely disappointment. Both my husband and I looked at eachother and said "what a waste of a trip into town". You're really missing the mark Whataburger. I had to wait at the window for about 10-15 minutes...I was excited because I thought that meant everything was going to be fresh and hot. Boy was I wrong! May 2nd - UPDATE THE owner emailed me the same day that this happened and for the life of me I couldn't figure out hot to update my post. Still not sure I'm doing right but nonetheless I wanted to update: The same night this happens and I wrote the original review, the owner of the whataburger reached out. He was very apologetic and stated this would never happen again. He stated that with all that's been going on, he was short on staff. He didn't make any excuses and was quick to make it right by paying for my next 3 meals. We gave it about 2 weeks and went back last Friday. Everything was behind awesome!! Burger was sooo good. Just like it usually is. The chicken taco was piping hot. It was all awesome!! Thank you Whataburger for making it right. We'll continue our patronage for sure!!!! read more

The service was good, but the tea was terrible. So dont order the tea. Visited the drive through at around 3am this weekend. Staff was friendly, food was made fresh, and gave us plenty of condiments and napkins. Seems to be an issue at most what a burger locations to leave out the napkins, but this lady did her job right. Will happily be coming back. The only reason I am only giving this a 4 star rating, is the tea. Its not hard to make good tea. So if your tea is bad, I feel like you deserve a lower rating. Great experience here. Very friendly and nice people. I like how they have a lot of sauce options like honey butter, jalapeño ranch, 1000 island. I enjoyed my strawberry shake and avocado bacon cheeseburger. It isn't the best burger in the world, but it is something you have to try when in Texas. I'm glad I did anyways. read more

We were in What a burger today at 1:45. The location was clean and our food made to order and hot. There was an upper level manager there in the dining room speaking so loudly on a business planning call it was annoying. That call should have been made from the office or her car. It was a call that lasted the entire time we ordered ate and left. We usually drive through but husband prefers eating in the dining room Sorry we did. I haven't been a Whataburger fan for a long time but today it was a handy lunch so. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger meal. I'm blown away!! Probably the best mush/Swiss burger I've had literally in years! Even from non fast food restaurants! It has real heft to it. 2 patties, smothered in Swiss cheese and plenty of mushrooms. What shocks me the most is the flavor is 5 star no doubt!! It has this mushroom sauce on it too that's not too thick or thin, flavor enhances the burger and doesn't over power it. I'm still in shock. It's a huge burger too and didn't think I'd be able to eat even half but I couldn't stop. I've now eaten about 3/4 and the fried. Can't eat more but this was an eye opener for me. I don't know if it's this location, or Whataburger changed something or what but wow, WHATABURGER? Oh and the fries remind me of McD's. Anyone else have that? I've never thought that before. Usually their fries are thicker but these are thinner and crispy/soft. Love em. I'll be back my friends. Price wasn't cheap though.
