Hands down this is still the best sonic I have been to. The car hops are friendly and the service is fast. I ordered the double smash burger and onion rings. Lord help me, that burger was absolutely amazing!! Sloppy and fresh. Just the way I like them. The onion rings are by far the best onion rings I have eaten. They have the subtle taste of funnel cake. Superb! I have been going to sonic for close to 40 years and this location has always been my favorite. Whenever I'm in town I always have to go and get my burger and ring fix. We do not live here, but we stopped in while driving through. Ladonna was the person who took our order and delivered our food. She was hands down the friendliest Sonic employee I have ever experienced anywhere! My kids initially thought she was an automated voice when she came on the speaker because she was so pleasant sounding. She was helpful with tweaking our order for a special request, and she brought out milkbones for our dogs. She was all smiles and super polite! She is the reason for my great review. read more

Only visited drive through. The service is always relatively fast except when the car in front orders for large family or office. Cute girl at window or the friendly older lady are the highlight as both are gracious for the visit. Hands out dog treats if they see a pup in car. The hamburgers are good and the chicken strips are always super hot, crispy, and a lot of white meat. Tatoe tots too greasy but fries are crispy. Drinks are always refreshing. Absolutely the worst Crispy Chicken Sandwich we have ever eaten My wife couldn't finish hers. Thin meat, very salty. I just spent over $6 for a "medium" chocolate Truck or Treat blast. Supposedly the treat has pieces of Heath bar, M&M minis, and Oreo cookie pieces, mixed into chocolate soft serve, then topped with the same candies. What I got was a "medium" cup of chocolate (and vanilla) soft serve with approx. 6 broken pieces of candy. I kept looking, but was unable to find any candies other than the few on top. Super dissatisfied. I ordered door dash and got a toaster no bacon (I'm a Vegetarian). They sent me a kids grilled cheese with bacon on it. I'm usually not one to complain but I called because I spent a huge amount doing it door dash and that was my only item. I called and they were extremely rude and had horrible customer service. She said the ingredients really fast and I said what do you have on the burger because the screen doesn't look correct. She said I don't know I can't see your screen. This sonic is awesome! We were pleasantly surprised and definitely satisfied. The service was great, the food was fresh, and our order was right. THE WORST SONIC EVER!! Don't go here. Save yourself the money and no doubt a horrible experience with terrible food. They NEVER get my order right. I've been double charged 3 times in the last year and a half. There is an heavy set older woman that is a manager during the day and she is a NIGHTMARE! The most unprofessional person I've ever come across in any service industry. She is soooooo rude to customers and the staff is terrified of her. She yelled at me, Ive personally witnessed her yell at other customers and my husband saw her yelling at her staff. The have no problem giving you French fries that have been sitting there for hours. So cold and dry you can't even swallow them. The chicken is old and dry and sometimes chalky. It's just the absolute worst. It happens every time. I have since found out Kingsland locals will tell you to steer clear of this place. Go anywhere else in Kingsland to eat and I promise it will be better than here. I probably go to this Sonic at least once a week for a bunless burger. THEY NEVER GET IT RIGHT. I get it with buns when ask for bunless, Ask for no cheese and get cheese. Ask for catsup and mustard and never get it. Very frustrating. Manager needs to do some customer service training. read more

Several weeks ago I stopped by to grab a quick dinner around 8pm. I always order the #2 Double Meat Cheese Burger, I know when you order it comes with a medium combo(fries/tots and a soda). I asked for a water, the lady said the meal comes with a soda, my response was I want a water instead. She said It doesn't come with a water only soda. Me: I don't drink soda so can I please have a water. Her: I'm sorry you have to have a soda. I argued with her for 5 mins telling her I would pay extra for a water. could not get through to her soda was bad and I didn't drink soda, so I asked about unsweetened tea.. The breakfast & lunch/dinner food is very yummy, but they are slacking when it comes to making their Blasts. There is a woman that currently works the evening shift named Kathy and if your lucky to get her as your car hop then she makes your Blasts awesome with tons of chocolate stuff, but otherwise it's basically vanilla ice cream in a cup. This is actually one of the best Sonic's I have been to. They always get my order right, the food is always hot/tasty and if I ever have to wait a little longer than usual a friendly car hop provides me a free drink for my wait. I don't ever have to complain, they always acknowledge the long wait on their own, which is a rarity for fast food joints. Came home hungry. Why? Picture this, they have on the menu a Junior Deluxe Cheeseburger. Not a Junior Deluxe Burger, but a Junior Deluxe Cheeseburger. So I ordered a Junior Deluxe Cheeseburger with mustard, no onions or pickles, with bacon. Sounds simple enough. Well, not so. They brought me a Junior Burger, no cheese with mayo, no onions or pickles, with bacon. I pressed the button and the carhop, teenage girl, came to my truck. I told her I ordered mustard no mayo. She looked confused on why I wanted to fix it. Anyway, they brought me another Junior burger, no cheese, with mustard and onion and pickles and bacon. Sent it back, and they brought me another Junior burger, no cheese, mustard, no onion or pickles with bacon. I think the cheese is confusing them. So I thought I would try it one more time. This time the brought me a Junior Deluxe Cheeseburger, no onions or pickles, with bacon, and mayo. I just had to give up. They did not offer me a free burger, or a refund. I guess it's because I didn't ask. I just told them to keep the last burger. I think I threw them off when I asked for bacon. You just can't find people like this just anywhere. Can't fix stupid. This is by far the worst sonic I have been to. I tried to call in and order a chicken sandwich. This was apparently more than they could handle so I has to drive up there and order instead. I finally got the chicken sandwich ordered and also ordered a cheeseburger with large tots and drink. I ended up with a med tot instead. It normally wouldn't be that big of a deal but this kind of stuff happens almost every time I order something from there.
