The restaurant itself is a no-frills smashburger spot -- simple setup, just focused on turning out good food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with homemade onion rings. Cheeseburger - 7/10 The beef patties had great flavor, the veggies tasted fresh, and the bacon was crispy with good smoky flavor. Overall, just a really solid burger with good balance and taste. Onion Rings - 7/10 Definitely tasted homemade. Crispy coating with a flavorful batter and cooked right. Better than the average frozen-ring joint by a mile. Service - 7/10 Friendly and helpful staff. Food came out without any issues. Atmosphere - 7/10 Simple and clean with limited indoor seating, but they also have a nice patio area outside that adds to the experience. Overall - 7/10 Definitely recommend giving them a shot if you're in Marble Falls. Probably one of the better burger spots in town from what I've had so far.

We took two bites before we realized the meat was raw on the inside. When we went up to the counter the employee got defensive and said "that's how we make them". The attitude was disturbing. Four hours later we were all sick. Puking and miserable! So I guess they got the last laugh. The fries were soggy and dark brown from overly used grease I'm sure. When I sent a private message to the owner he blocked me on Facebook. This is a seedy business with a disgusting kitchen and terrible customer service. The first time we went, we tried the gumbo and it was delicious. It comes out seriously hot--both temperature-wise and spice-wise--but in a good way. They told us they have someone from New Orleans come in once a week to make the roux and bases for their soups and gumbo, and whatever they're doing, it works. One of my favorite things on the menu is actually the avocado salad. Add a few shrimp to it and it's a fantastic meal. I've also had the grilled seafood and usually gravitate toward the salmon with vegetables. My wife loves their fried okra, and we've tried several of the fried seafood options as well. Everything has always tasted fresh and well prepared. Interestingly, we have several friends who go there specifically for the burger. We still haven't tried it, but we've heard enough people rave about it that apparently we need to. The drinks are good too, and when it's just the two of us, we really enjoy sitting at the bar and having dinner there. That's probably what we like most about this place--you can go all-in on fried seafood and enjoy the guilty pleasure, or have a salad with grilled shrimp or salmon and leave feeling like you behaved yourself. Either way, we've always had a good meal.

It's a 50/50 blend of beef and bacon + bacon jam. The patty is nestled on some shredded iceberg and melted American cheese on top with the jam. Overall, the burger was very good but leaned too sweet with the bacon jam for my liking. Very rich. I think arugula would be a nice touch to cut the richness.
