The pancake was super fluffy, crispy on the edges. Really good. The bacon was over cooked. One piece was inedible. The other was super crispy but I at least could eat it. The scrambled eggs were tasty. The tortillas are homemade and good. We will be back. Next time I'll ask for bacon not crispy. The restaurant was very clean inside and the lady working was very nice. Unsuspecting little place in Granite Shoals, but lived up to all the good reviews. The shredded beef tostada was just the right size and had great flavor and the mole enchilada was delicious too. It was edible, but that's about it. The refried beans tasted like they were straight out of the can. When we went to pay the bill, the amount owed was completely different than the amount on the menu. I questioned the cashier about the price difference, and she said the prices have increased but not changed on the menu. We usually call in our order for breakfast tacos and they are ready in 20 minutes. We take them "to go" and bring them back to the house. Don't forget the hot sauce. I was recently in charge of feeding a large group of people breakfast in Granite Shoals, and this girl does not cook! I found this cute little restaurant and decided to buy breakfast burritos here. (They do charge extra for multiple food items in the burrito, as well they should, and their menu states this. I mention this because there is another yelp review referencing price.) The burritos were a hit! The tortillas taste and feel authentic. I could swear that someone's grandma was in the back making these. These burritos were way better than anything Austin has to offer. I heard at least two people say that these are way better than their favorite taco place in Austin. I will be back! read more

Ate breakfast there yesterday and ate inside. Service was prompt and food was great. Ordered a "to-go" order today and we were told 45 minutes. Went to get it and was told 20 more minutes...they had one table in the restaurant with customers. If you can eat there or have all the time to wait on your food then worth it - otherwise the place directly across the street is just as good and much faster. read more

Our party of eleven came around 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. No other customers were there. Another party of three showed up later. The prices are cheap compared to Austin Mexican restaurants. The portions are just right. The food taste is fine. My chile relleno stuffed with cheese was a little greasy. The tortilla chips were not the typical ones you get at Austin Mexican restaurants. They were thicker than usual. The salsa wasn't spicy at all. Oddly enough, an avocado is $3.xx for a whole one but only $0.99 for a half. We speculated whether we should've asked for two half-orders. :-) The interior is very cute and cheerful with its yellow walls and colorful decorations. I especially liked the parrot Welcome sign. The restaurant looked clean and was very quiet. The waitstaff was very friendly. We asked one man for a refill of the tortilla chips but he forgot. They only take cash. When you finish your meal, you pay at the counter next to the entrance. La Cabana is located about five miles west of Marble Falls along 1431. It's a small yellow house-like building that's easy to spot from the road. We parked in the side/back of the building. Parking is plentiful. I would stop by again when in the area. read more

Beware their menu. We ordered a large amount of Breakfast Burritos with the assumption that they were $1.75 a piece based on the price shown in the menu. Little did we know, the prices had increased to $2.50 a piece. We were not informed of this until after the fact. Being a cash only establishment, this caused us quite a problem in that we did not have enough cash to cover the full cost. Instead of admitting that they made a mistake and giving us the food for the advertised price, they made us go across the street to use the ATM to get more cash. We should have walked away at this point but instead complied with the new prove request. That was a mistake. After returning with the additional money, we pointed out to the lady up front that she should fix her menus. She just kind of smiled and laughed. Pretty ridiculous. Avoid this place if you want to be treated fairly, especially since there are a number of other similar establishments in the area that are equally good if not better and treat their customers more fairly. ALTHOUGH ADDRESS IS MARBLE FALLS, this is actually in Granite Shoals Small family run Mexican restaurant. We've eaten here many times. And we're always happy with the meal. I still dream about La Cabaña breakfast burritos. I used to work down the road at The Outdoor School and we'd come here all the time for breakfast. The food is SO cheap and SO good, even their pancakes are crazy good which surprised me at a Mexican restaurant. Also, the family who runs this place is super sweet. This place is absolutely wonderful! My girlfriend works nearby and goes with her go workers at least once a week. I went with her twice, and had their migas breakfast burritos, and it was the best migas I have ever had. I believe their tortillas and tortillas chips are homemade, if not they are of significantly better quality than other tortillas I have had. Anyways this place is definitely worth a stop. Oh! I forgot to mention they are very affordable, 2 dollar breakfast burritos, they're big too! read more
