Responsive and communicated well. Showed up early, provided multiple options to include cheaper ones.

Scott was really quick to respond and charged a very reasonable price. He was able to come the next day and help install two pendant lights over kitchen island. The job was completed in an hour and we are super happy with it. read more

Excellent work by Bear Electric! I had several fixtures, sconces and outlets to be added and Scott and his son handled every aspect with professionalism and such wonderful attention to detail. He made sure to contact me beforehand to go over pricing and was consistent throughout. While working, Scott was so good about asking my opinion on how exactly I wanted things to look and he presented multiple options to create the exact amount of light I was looking for. Incredibly impressed by this team and will for sure have them out again! read more

I really appreciate Scott and his quick response! He was very honest, fare and very trustworthy in the work that he did at my home. I needed a new plug installed in my kitchen and he did a great job. We also moved the kitchen plugs for me and put a new plate on. He diagnosed a problem with an additional plug in the dining room and replaced two outlets. I was very pleased with Scott throughout the entire process. read more

Had Scott install an outlet under the sink today. I used his online appointment scheduler but he was able to contact me to get the job done earlier so I'd have the outlet ready for a dishwasher being delivered in a few days. He also fixed a 3-way switch that was giving me trouble. His professionalism and communication are top notch. It speaks volumes that he was able to adjust his schedule to work my job in. read more

Needed to have a Ring floodlight camera installed where there was no electrical. I sent out a project on yelp and Scott from Bear responded fairly quickly. He told me he could be at my place for a free estimate the next day around noon. He communicated with me the following day as promised. Upon arrival, we talked over the project. He got into the attic to see what it would take to get things done to give me an accurate quote. He talked out how he would do it, how it would look. I was impressed by how detail oriented he was. We agreed to the price and he offered to perform the job then or at another time. I decided I was not going to shop around and had him do the job right then. He had all the tools and materials that he needed including the masonry drill bit which was essential. In just over am hour, he had the task completed and it was a job well done. Scott even brought out his broom and dust plan to clean up after himself and offered to help me adjust the camera to where I want it. We need to support our small businesses. I will be calling Scott for all electrical needs. read more

We had to remove some outdoor lighting fixtures when our cedar fence was replaced. I wanted an improved installation over what was there before and emphasized the esthetics. Scott communicates well and listened to my ideas and preferences. He finished the job in one day and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely call him again for electrical work. Give him a try! read more

Scott installed an additional outlet in my garage. I love that he communicates via text message. He kept me informed on the progress of his prior job to let me know approximately when he'd arrive at my house. Upon arrival, he was very friendly and got to work quickly after giving me a few options. He seems like an honest and stand up guy. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive option, but instead asked questions to help me get the best solution for my needs. I'd recommend Bear to others. read more

Awesome service. If you need professional, timely, courteous service. Look no further. Call Bear Electric. I couldn't have been happier to have called them. Mr. Scott knew what he was doing and did it quickly and efficiently. He went above and beyond with everything, like carrying the light fixture upstairs, bringing the empty box back down, and closing the storm door I had kept open. Highly recommend! read more

I asked Scott about adding two outlets in my garage. He gave me a free quote, I accepted, and he quickly fit me into his schedule. The work was completed in three hours and he did a great job. Now we have two outlets with dedicated circuits to each and the flexibility to add more later on. Thanks, Scott! read more

Needed miscellaneous electrical work at our home. Contacted Bear Electric and spoke with Scott. He came out to our house and gave us suggestions on the tasks we wanted in both garages and master bathroom. We approved his quote and he showed up the next day to install additional lights and receptacles. Work was competed in a timely manner and all areas were cleaned up. We appreciated the quick response to our needs and Bear Electric's outstanding performance and professionalism. We definitely will be scheduling additional work with Bear Electric. read more

Scott installed a manual generator transfer switch for our home. He was knowledgeable, helpful in recommending an easier solution and reliable - showing up on time and doing what he said he would do at a fair price. read more

Showed up a little early, went over options for aesthetics and function with the few outlets I wanted added to exterior and interior. Got the outlets installed quickly, cleanly, and make sure everything was working before he left. Overall job well done. Thanks. read more

My new go-to for electrical work! Scott was very responsive, professional and thorough. He walked me through the different options for my project, taking the time to ensure all my questions were answered. He was also very respectful of our home. He cleaned up all the areas once he finished the work and still managed to knock everything out quickly! Very impressed, thank you Scott! read more

Scott is awesome! I was a little nervous selecting an electrician without any (visible) Yelp reviews but I'm so glad I did. Scott responded quickly and arrived (early!) the next day to address some subpar electrical work that was done by someone who was clearly not an expert. Scott was able to assess the situation and correct everything perfectly! His positive attitude and attention to detail was A+. He gave us a very fair price, and we liked him so much that we asked him to come back again to install 5 ceiling fans later in the week. He did an excellent job, and even took the time to caulk around the edges where the fans didn't quite cover the previous holes. I was very impressed and would definitely reach out to him again for any future needs. He has been an electrician for a long time but is just starting up a new business, so I highly suggest you give him a shot before he gets booked up. Thanks Scott! We truly appreciate your quick, friendly, and thorough service. P.S. It looks like Scott has a bunch of other great reviews that are "not recommended" by Yelp, which I find pretty unfair to small business owners who can't afford to play the Yelp marketing game. read more

Scott responded very quickly to my call. He arrived as scheduled and was very efficient to install a new outlet in my attic. Very competitive rates as well. I definitely plan to use Bear for future electrical needs. read more

They were amazing in every way!!! Scott responded quickly to my initial request for an estimate (it wasn't even business hours) and was able to fit us in pretty quickly. When he arrived he had an apprentice with him and they were both very kind and professional. They even had COVID-19 safety protocols in place: they were masked, kept social distance and even took contactless payment! The price they quoted was very reasonable ($100 less than another quote we had received) and the price on the estimate was the price we paid (no surprise charges after the work was done). Thank you Bear Electric!!! read more

We had a sudden power issue and a burned out room heater, so we turned off the switch to that area of the house and contacted Bear electrical. They got straight back to us with a reasonable quote, turned up on time and completed the work quickly. They left us confident that they had found the cause of the problem and properly repaired it. Will definitely use them again. read more

I reported the problem to ask a estimate and Bear Electric asked me about the breaker model I was complaining about. He quickly replied and told that it's a faulty product. I was able to get a replacement from the company who installed it. His advice saved me $$. Definitely very knowledgeable and responsive company to go with read more

A+. Fast, great communication, and great professional service. Explained the whole process in details before and after the service. Also, the best quote received. I will hire them again if needed. read more

I had a breaker go out and the technician that came (I'm sorry I forgot his name) was very nice and extremely informative. He wore a mask and didn't even have to come in my house. He asked to just go in through the garage and let me know when he was done. I will definitely be using Bear for all of my electrical needs :) read more

There are too many great things to share about Bear Electric! Scott was absolutely awesome! Some of the best customer service I have ever received. Not only was he very responsive, we were able to book him within a week to get him in for a large project. We updated our entire kitchen to recessed lighting, added a new dining room fixture, moved living room lighting around and updated our outdoor and office fans! I was very impressed with how Scott walked us through everything he did and provided us with multiple options to complete our project. Not only was communication spectacular, Scott was very knowledgeable and performed high quality work. The lighting turned out beautiful and was everything we were looking for! I would definitely recommend Bear Electric and will be using him for any future electrical services! read more

Scott arrived when he said he'd arrive, so points for that. I had a couple of smart switches installed, which went smoothly with no issues, especially given the mess of wires he had to work with. I also asked him about moving an outlet a foot to the side; he presented me with the options and didn't pressure me into getting the work done. Would hire again and recommend to others. read more

Setting up an appointment was easy - great communication. They were able to quickly identify the problem and make the repairs. I was able to get bids on another project and set up the time for that call same day. Great experience, highly recommend. read more

We had put out a yelp request to have recessed lighting added to our master bedroom. Scott responded promptly and provided us a very reasonable quote. All communication and work was done professionally. Have recommended him to neighbors, and we will definitely use him again. read more

Scott was prompt, professional, and very friendly. He installed two ceiling fans for us and was insanely fast doing it. Best of all the price was right. I would recommend Bear electric, hands down. Will use them again. read more

I am really satisfied with Scott and his work. He is really quick to respond, and he maintains the communication very professionally (fast and informative). That was a problem with my previous electricians who responded very slowly, and didn't respond at all sometimes. As for the final result of his work, he did everything that we requested, and super quickly (the whole house of tasks was done for 1.5 days). I highly recommend him as a contractor for residential electrical tasks. Quick and effective. read more

My wife and I are working on home improvements this year. We have had some good contractors and some kinda "iffy". We needed some electrical work to move a flood light from ground level to second story. I spoke to Scott on the phone and I could tell right away he was an experienced professional. After I sent him a couple photos he was able to provide a solution and a very reasonable quote. He said he could be there in 2 days and have the job done in a couple hours. Scott did the job himself (impressive) and had it done in no-time. I liked Scott a lot because he's a perfectionist like me and completed the job meticulously. Very impressed with his electrical knowledge, knew exactly what to do and how to do it (even while handling phone calls and answer my novice questions at the same time). He cleaned up all the mess and trouble checked everything. Words cannot express how happy we are with the results of Bear Electric's work. We have more home improvements to make and I'm pretty sure I will re-hire them. Hope we get Scott on the next job! read more
