Their assistance and quick turnaround was amazing. I definitely recommend them. Great customer service

I reached out to Scott on Yelp about an upcoming project a couple of weeks ago. He was super responsive and communicative, which I appreciate. After our initial discussions, I had a new project arise and I contacted him again. He was very quick to ask questions that allowed him to give a quick and accurate estimate on a small job. He was running a little behind schedule but was diligent about keeping me informed about the delay and his updated arrival time. When he showed up, he was very friendly and professional and quickly knocked out a very high quality job. While here, he took a closer look at my upcoming job and will be providing me a quote for that. It's safe to say that I have found my electrician for future jobs. One quick thing to note, business is booming right now and to be able to manage the load as a one-man show, his Yelp page may show as temporarily closed, but that's only a temporary measure. I can't recommend Scott highly enough, and I've already sent his information to a couple of my friends and family who are needing work done. read more

I highly recommend Bear Electric for any electrical needs! Scott was able to arrive on my property to fix some lights that were not working. He was incredibly friendly, fast, and did great quality work. On top of that, he was able to complete the job for less than half the price that I was quoted from one of the chain companies. I highly recommend! read more

Great electricians. I didn't have any power in a room and they came over and were able to diagnose and fix it quickly.

I contact Bear Electrical and they were able to schedule me for a week out. Shortly after that I received a call and was able to pull the appointment in for the next day. Scott came out and performed the two requests in short order and then was able to install a whole-home surge protector and a generator outlet outside in the same visit. Scott was knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. My experience was phenomenal and I cannot recommend them more. read more

When I bought my house, I had all the electrical upgrade at that time, then I recently realized how long ago that was! Some of the breakers started tripping, so I knew I had to bite the bullet and have the whole breaker box brought up to the 21st century. I couldn't have been more pleased with Bear Electric. I thought I was going to have to make another appointment for the same thing with my garage, but they did it all in one day! Great job, and I feel safer now knowing everything is up to the recent code. I have found my electrician for life! Don't hesitate to get any electrical work done--these guys are great! read more

I put a request in with Yelp for the repair of my electrical panel per an inspection done for the sale of my home. I thought I had contacted another company, but actually the work went out to bid. Scott called me in ten minutes, arranged a time with me - and called to tell me he could come sooner. He confirmed the problem with a thorough diagnosis, made the repair in twenty minutes, kindly just charged me the base service fee and went on his way. Scott was cordial, knowledgeable, prompt and fair. I would highly recommend Bear Electric. read more

Excellent and prompt communications. Very reasonable. Took the time to explain things answering questions. Very highly recommended.

Great experience with Scott from Bear Electric. He was very responsive and communicative over Yelp, and I got an honest, very reasonable estimate through Yelp before agreeing to have the work done. The day of, Scott was on time, very courteous and professional, got everything done quickly, and did a great job cleaning up after himself. I'm super happy with the work he did. He also wore a mask 100% of the time, which I appreciate. I will definitely contact Bear Electric again the next time I need electrical service. read more

Scott just installed a Transfer Switch to power our house with a Generator during the next Winter Storm / Power Outage. I really liked his questions to analyse the work and his explanation about the procedure. He made me realized that my generator was not the right type. At the same time we installed a Surge protection to protect our appliances and electrical equipments from the network surges. Very knowledgeable about transfer switches, good communication, fast appointment and great work (the most important) for a very reasonnable price. He even took the time to test the new switch turning off and on our HVAC to confirm that our generator could handle the HVAC compressor. If like me you are willing to have a transfer switch installed at your home and you are looking for a pro, I highly recommend Scott with BEAR ELECTRIC LLC who is a specialist for this install. read more

Bear Electric - Electricians Near Me

Scott has done two jobs for me and did an excellent job on both. He moved some very tricky electrical wires for me and replaced a blown breaker in my breaker box. He also identified a blown transformer in my a/c unit. Scott doesn't just do the job he's asked to do--he goes above and beyond to make sure all of your electrical and appliance issues are resolved. He is prompt, professional, friendly, and very good at his job. He's a great electrician and I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Scott! read more

I can not say enough about how great Scott at Bear Electric is! The communication throughout the process was amazing. I even threw a side project at him last minute and he didn't hesitate to get it done for us. Our porch light hasn't been working for the past 3 months! I found Bear Electric through YELP and messaged the company for a consult. Scott reached out to me within minutes and was able to get the work done the very next day. When he arrived, he told me the LED was not working and was patient enough to let me go to Lowe's to buy a new light for our front porch without charging me for the extra time. He was very polite, professional, and his rate was very reasonable. Hubby and I will be reaching out to Scott again in the near future for some landscape lightIng project! read more

I had a relatively simple job, but kind of unusual. I just needed some custom wiring I did inspected by a pro, and Scott was very willing to help me out. He made some excellent observations, did some tests, and had some great advice that I was able to implement. I would absolutely reach out and use him again. He struck me as a solid, trustworthy guy, the type you'd want to hire for a project. read more

I requested a quote on yelp because I recently purchased a house and was having an issue with plugs not working in the kitchen and master bath and also needed a closet light fixed. Out of all the companies who responded, Bear Electric was the most informative and friendly and I felt were very transparent and honest regarding costs and potential fixes. So I sent them my home inspection report and had them take care of all the issues listed in one trip. Am very happy with the end result! The service and price was great. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for electrical help with their home! read more

We had a few small issues that we'd been needing taken care of for quite awhile and then our dishwasher fuse blew - - yikes. Bear Electric - Electricians Near Me

Scott is really professional, responsive, and accommodating! We needed to have someone install an outlet next to the toilet, and we sent out the inquiry to multiple electricians, he was the quickest to respond and was knowledgeable and informative on our follow up questions. After we set up the appointment, I had to change it due to COVID vaccination appointment. He accommodated our request even during the weekend. We will definitely work with him again for our future projects, also recommend him to our friends. read more

We definitely won't hesitate to use him again! read more

Bear Electric was the first place I called. I needed two new 20 amp outlets in my garage. I was given good price estimations and I agreed to it. They were in between jobs and had some extra time so they came over to the house and looked at the areas I wanted the outlets. After a thorough inspection, he let me know that pros/cons of putting the outlets where I wanted. He also gave me a creative option that gave me what I needed at half the cost if I was ok with accepting a particular configuration. I took him up on it and it came out very well. They were at the house for less than 45 minutes. The end result is great. While it's not exactly what I had pictured, I would much rather have this than what I originally asked for given the extra complications it was going to bring. There's no reason for me to call anyone else for electrical work. I will absolutely use them again. Price - Extremely Competitive Knowledge - Very High Promptness - Excellent Quality - Outstanding Completion Speed - Crazy Fast read more

I've had some problems with my outside outlets lately, and my pool cleaner wasn't getting enough power. I didn't know if the two issues were related so I contacted a couple companies for rates and time frames. One company's rate was double Bear Electric's rate and they couldn't come out for 7-10 days. Scott's rate was reasonable and he came out the following day!! He brought his assistant and they analyzed and fixed the problem within the hour. I'm glad I chose Scott's family business rather than a larger company. I'll definitely be contacting Bear Electric for all my electrical issues in the future. read more
