Seems like this should be an updated review. I'm not sure how I missed this park. It's a nicely shaded paved trail which connects to multiple trailhead along the way. It's out and back or I just haven't made the loop yet. Moderate traffic during week and busy on weekend. Very scenic and well maintained with plenty of shaded areas for picnic or rest. Plenty of activities for youth sports,fishing and grills available. Absolutely one of the best parks in this area. read more

I went during open play, and it was great. People were courteous and inviting to others. I would highly recommend.

Bear Creek Park is a beautiful walking trail, but is also open to equestrian riders, bicyclists, etc... My favorite starting point is off of Keller-Smithfield Road, where there is also a nice little playground and Free Little Library. Closer to Rufe Snow there is a dog park, and along Bear Creek Parkway is the main park with a playground, pavilions, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and bathrooms. The only complaint I have about the walking trails is that there are no lights but I suppose that may keep people out of the park after hours, just limits walking times in the winter. Update: I wanted to get some photos of my dog, so we took a dirt path to the creek and decided to cross over where we found an awesome dirt trail system. This may be used primarily for mountain biking but since it wasn't busy when we went, we enjoyed a leisurely walk & I was able to get a few quick off leash photos of my girl. It's heavily treed so it's a little warmer & there are lots of bugs BUT we saw so many beautiful fireflies. Highly recommend. read more

I've used the pickleball courts at his park, they are very nice and are public and free.

I really like this park, they have a couple of walking trails, places to fish, a fountain, tennis court, basketball court, a couple of pavilions with benches, a couple of bridges, a volleyball court and a couple of playgrounds. There's plenty of places for shade and the scenery is nice. They have plenty of benches to sit down under the shade. There are plenty of places to park and on the weekends they have the keller farmers market. read more

Nice park, tends to get busy with activities. They seem to take more aggressive care of the restrooms here than neighboring parks, kinda. Anyway, in a general sense it's a really nice park, but stick to daylight. Not as much lit as some other parks. read more

Bear Creek Park is an AOK recreational destination. Here, you'll find a nice playground and several walking trails. Tip: There's a small creek that runs through the park, but you can't access it from within the park. The biggest single draw for this place is probably the dog park, which is very well kept. Within it there are separate areas for large dogs and small dogs. The park is surrounding by apartment complexes, and many of the residents therein bring their four-footed friends here :-) read more

We love running/biking the trails at BC. They are very well kept. We have even seen police on motorcycles patrolling.

OK, back to 5 stars! Drinking fountains (4) are back, and each has a bowl-like section for dogs too (see photo). Very cool. This is truly a gem of a park. read more

Excellent local park. Brought the kids here today to fish off the little bridge. Fun activity catch a couple little perch and kids love it. (Except for the one that never catches anything). Can usually see lots of wildlife if you are patient and look for it. Spiders, snakes, turtles, ducks, fish. We saw some people riding horses. The playgrounds are pretty well kept and they have good jogging trails, sand volleyball fields for softball/baseball as well as soccer. read more

Love this park it's fun to take your dogs too and a group of friends and family for a cook out. Now all of my friends have babies so pretty soo we can have our kiddos running around as well. There's fields for soccer ,football baseball , anything you want volleyball frisbee. There's a creek for fishing if anyone wants a side walk for bike riding there's a cute bridge if anyone wants to take pictures. If you go to the other side of the creek where the gazebo is in the trees and everything there's a super pretty area I took maternity pictures there it's beautiful. Very clean well taken care of park. When I nannied I would take my kiddos here to play off some energy. read more

I've been going to this park since I first moved here as a kid, it's been 20 years. It has always been a treat to either play sand volleyball, walk the trail or go to the playgrounds with my son. We also get a chance to see ducks, birds and turtles. Love this park! read more

Bear Creek Park is a fantastic park. It has baseball/softball fields, Volleyball courts, hiking/running trails and fishing ponds. It's a beautiful park and great for family or friend gatherings. It also has lots of scheduled activities like movie nights and outdoor concerts. read more

Bear Creek Park is spectacular. It's well-maintained, with plenty of walking/running trails navigating through the creek and great greenery. There's plenty of public parking available if you want to drive over and offload your day of fun goodies. There's several large fields available scattered about to act as your next soccer pitch, flag football space, or just an area to romp around. You'll see picnic tables perched here and there, I'll assume they are on a first-come, first-served basis. I also saw a volleyball area, basketball court, restroom facility and a small stage-like pavilion. It's really a nice city park that has a lot to offer. During the nice weather months this park is beautiful and crowded. I've not been around long enough to know if they host events here, but that would be pretty cool. read more

Beautiful park! Lots of shade, walkways, a creek running through the middle. We saw heron, turtles and ducks. There is a clean bathroom that is always appreciated. There are baseball fields, and sand volleyball courts, several covered pavilions and even a tiny library! The paved trail that runs along Bear Creek rd. is gorgeous and a great walk for all ages. read more

Our Church's small group met here for lunch around 12:30pm. Not too busy, plenty of parking, and plenty of seating. There were tons of charcoal grills available for use and there were several different areas for groups to sit. There are also large fields for any spots and a backstop for baseball/softball. We had about 20 people really enjoy the outdoors! I would most definitely recommend! read more

I love this park. I walk the trail four times a week in the mornings and feel safe and comfortable. The park is well-maintained and the bathrooms are always clean. It's a great place for families, walkers, joggers, etc. there is always something going on in the park whether it's a yoga class or a Boot Camp kids playing on the playgrounds or picnics. The park also sponsors free concerts and movies that are free to the public. Overall this is a great place for anyone that enjoys being outside. read more

I've been a big fan of this park since we moved to Fort Worth (Keller) in 2003. Nicely done place with a small creek running through it. The volleyball nets are frequently busy in the summer afternoons. People mill about, fishing, walking, playing, and riding bikes. There is ample tree coverage and a long side walk that goes about 3 miles in one direction, and 1 mile the other direction. There are a few BBQ pits installed around and ample benches. Love this park. It's huge! And there is a lot to do here, from trails to playgrounds to some off-roading hikes. Unless the weather is terrible, there are always kids at the playgrounds to play with - the kids I nanny hate when they're the only ones at a park, so we come to this one often. read more

Fun little place to walk around and feed the ducks with your love. There is also a playground and basketball court and junk.

The park is great for jogging wonderful greenway. It's nice and relaxing, it doesn't even feel that you're in the city until you come across one of the 6 or 7 sculptures that the City of Keller decided to add within the natural greenway. The sculptures are terrible. They are these modern art sculptures that ruin the feel of the park. Highly unfortunate. If it weren't for the sculptures this park would have gotten a 5 star. I just don't understand why the sculptures were added here instead of Main Street or city hall but in a greenway? read more

I love this park and its trails. Great play area for kids/family. Since the new add on to the playground, the park has attracted a lot of people. The trails which cuts through the wood to Bear Creek is a wonderful trail to walk/run. If you wonder inside, there are sculptures that are pretty awesome to look at. Just bum that they are building new homes in the area. The open field was there before was really nice. read more

Great park!! Lot's of shaded picnic tables with charcoal grills. One large and one small reservable pavilions. Nice, clean restrooms. 2 nice playgrounds and a sand box for kids. Love, love, love this park. Acres of open fields, endless trails, pretty ponds and bridges. I see families here all the time, people walking their dogs (there is a lovely doggie park with a fenced off areas for big dogs and a separate area for small dogs). Its very pleasant to walk by the ducks, herons and spotting an occasional turtle. It's a very safe area for walking. Highly recommend it! read more
