First time here...we had looked at the menu on Yelp, and saw that they offer a lunch special until 3pm, that includes rice, spring rolls, and soup, just like our usual favorite Thai restaurant, (Thai Thai II) but wanted to give this place a try. Drove 20 minutes out of our way on a Sunday for lunch, and were seated with dinner menus at 2:40. Our waitress comes back to take our order, and I ask about the lunch menu. She says, sorry lunch is over, you have to order from the dinner menu. I ask her what time lunch is over, and she says 3pm. I showed her my phone, it was 2:48. She goes off and returns saying sorry, I don't know why, but you can't order from the lunch menu. At this point, we should have politely left, just out of principle, but we we hadn't had breakfast, and were hungry so we ordered spring rolls, a vegetarian Thai red curry, and a beef bulgogi. The red curry had a strong taste of fish sauce, so it was not vegetarian, which upset my vegetarian companion. My beef bulgogi was tough, and not served with the traditional condiments, so we found our meal here to be a very disappointing experience. Nevertheless, we did not complain, and tipped our waitress well, but I doubt we would ever return. read more

Pleasantly surprised to find good, vegetarian-friendly, pan-Asian cuisine in Viera! Bean Sprout is located where Asian Too used to be, but totally trumps it in terms of cuisine (but not hipness.) It's a sit-down restaurant (vs. the super casual Asian Too), but is infinitely better. Service is a bit awkward and standoffish, but hopefully that's because they're fairly new... I went with my vegetarian family of 5, and we all ended up getting different curries--they have a LOT! Specifically, we ordered Masaman Curry, India Curry, and Pine Nut Curry, all with vegetables and tofu, instead of meat. The Pine Nut Curry was meh, but the other two were phenomenal--definitely the best Thai curry I've had in Brevard County. We also ordered Drunken Noodles without egg, which was a solid choice (it's pretty hard to mess up Drunken Noodles, though...) The ~standout~ of the dinner, though, was the Taro Bubble Tea. The flavor of the taro was very strong but not too sweet, the bubbles perfectly cooked, and the portion GIGANTIC. We also got the Honeydew Bubble Tea, which was excellent, but did not compare to the Taro Bubble Tea in any way. Get this. The worst dining in experience. The sushi roll was premade because the deep fried shrimp was very cold and soggy, not crunchy at all. The establishment had a poor smell. We had five adults and two children, so we were charged the gratuity of 20% automatically. When we asked to see it in writing, the manager had a very hard time finding the small print in the menu. In addition to everything, they also charged taxes on top of the gratuity and could not explain this. Very poor customer service and quality of food. I would give this place 5 stars if the service was better. We recently tried this place for first time. The first time we went in for Bubble Tea only... we placed our order for 2 bubble teas and waited. While waiting, another person can in and ordered a Bubble Tea. They made that persons first for some reason and we waiting what felt like too long for ours to be made. On our second visit, we went for dinner. We ordered 2 meals of sushi and 1 meal of a curry dish. The sushi took FOREVER. The curry dish came, was half eaten, and leftovers were packaged up in to go container BEDORE all of our sushi had even arrived to our table. Again, we watched multiple tables of people come in, order, get there food, and in some cases finished eating before we received our orders. They take orders for tables and deliver them out of order. Tables sat way after us got their food way before us. SEEMS TO BE A TREND. It's very annoying. We thought the food was all really good, the prices are a bit high, the wait staff are very pleasant, but the order in which tables people are served is NOT HANDLED WELL. Really puts a damper on the experience of eating here. We'll give it another chance, but this better not occur again or we will probably not return. read more

My family ordered completely online and the meal was completed in 20 minutes! We ordered Massamune curry chicken, red curry chicken, pad Thai vegetable, garlic chicken and wonton soup. I haven't been here in a while. The last time I was I believe there was a different manager or owner. I had great customer service and the lunch I ordered was delicious. I will be back again soon because there were many dishes I was torn between and would like to come and try those in the future. Food is good. Takeout is a disaster. The last 4 times I've gotten takeout from this place, something is always missing from my order. One time was DoorDash, the other 3 times I picked up myself. Our first visit was pretty good but our recent visit (22 Dec 21) with our family was very disappointing. I ordered the crab fried rice and the crab as rotten. I tasted the rice it it almost made me throw up. After telling the waitress that the crab was spoil, no one and I mean no one apologized. For this reason I will never visit this restaurant again. I have dined in and had carry out and they go above and beyond in both capacities. When dining in the place is always very clean (which is important to me) including bathrooms. IMO if the bathrooms are clean chances are the kitchen is pretty clean. They run a first rate operation and service has always been great. They are really busy in the evenings on weekends so it can be little more hectic at this time to get one on one service. The food is amazing, very fresh, great Thai flavors, and they have have some very unique menu dishes. I would have to say this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in BC and I think I have eaten at almost every single one in the past 15 years. Make sure to try their refreshing boba that is served frozen slushi style and absolutely wonderful (honeydew its my fav). They have these two great servers, Kevin and Christian, two brothers that work so hard and are so polite, working their way thru college, I am always sure to tip them well! read more

Yumalicious! Big fan of Thai and Pan-Asian flair, and Bean Sprout NAILS it. Started off with their sushi nachos. That's right, I wrote SUSHI NACHOS! We're talking traditional nacho chips with tuna, salmon, guacamole, fresh jalapeños, and topped off with a spicy but not too spicy Thai sauce. That's a meal in itself. Next, I went with garlic chicken. Fabuloso! Fresh steamed broccoli, carrots, onions, peppers and cabbage in a buttery garlic sauce. Miso soup was wonderful too. I'd give this place 0 star if I can. How did they even get close to 4 stars? I didn't have high expectation knowing this a small town & I'm coming from Los Angeles. After lunch I went to visit my friend at her nails shop & told her where I went to lunch. Her customer over heard & told me that they didn't like this place either. Well, I didn't know and was super disappointed. 1. 1st impression walking already feel unwelcome. 2. Order chicken satay, padthai, & crispy duck with red curry. Everything was super salty except for the dry chicken satay. The padthai doesn't look like it was stir fry at all. 3. Service was nothing but a 0 star. No one ever came by to ask how was everything or bother to refill water. I could understand if they were busy but I know why they're not busy now. I could accept food is not good but if the service is good it's wouldn't bother me. Overall foods was mediorce and service was unacceptable with unfriendly staff. Only thing is restaurant is nice & clean. I should of ask my friend before I went to this restaurant so I don't have to waisted my money. Lesson learned. read more

After today, Not Again!!!!! We got up to leave after 45 mins waiting on our food when Finally it was served. My plastic fork was so cheap, I could eat my vegetables with it (Pad Se Eaw). The drinks were served with lids, plastic, I can understand. We sat outside (only ones) we weren't offered refills. My sprite had coke on its lid, on the inside, why? My husband's paper plate was dirty so she brought him another at his request. Why do people bother running a restaurant if they're not concerned with quality or service??? We chose this place today to have our family lunch for our weekly lunch out. The food was good but we will never go back again. We had such a horrible service from our first server. She was an older lady and medium build. Too bad we didn't get her name. From the time she sat us down, she did nothing but slam everything she placed on our table to a point that the soup she served spilled all over the plate it was on and didn't even apologized. She acted as if serving us was beneath her. The other server who helped her managed the front floor was much better and that is the only reason I'm not giving this place 1star. first visit to bean sprout: loved it. finally, a place in the area which served proper noodles for drunken noodles and pad see ew! having recently relocated to the area, i was surprised that the surrounding thai restaurants all had the "wrong" noodles (started with dried rice noodles rather than fresh/frozen). the noodles for drunken noodles should be wide and chewy - the type of texture you cant achieve when starting with a dry noodle. i was thrilled and vowed not to eat drunken noodles anywhere else... even if these were a bit pricey. second visit: sames - still in love with the food. service was less than stellar, but it was tolerable for the noods. third visit: this one ruined it all. ordered my usual drunken noodles... but when they arrived, it was the wrong noodles. not the fresh, chewy ones, but the generic ones used by every other place in the area. so disappointed. i left the dish untouched until the waitress came back around, then asked her about the noodles, telling her i was disappointed because they were not what i'd expected after my other recent visits. laughing, she said that the staff had eaten the remaining fresh noodles during the prior day's lunch, so these were the "emergency noodles" until the next order came in, and that they didn't think anyone would notice. she said all of this joyfully laughing, then walked away. i sat through dinner, taking barely 2-3 bites of the dish - i was very disappointed. i don't like the texture of these other noodles. i did not get the remainder wrapped to go. instead of comping the dish (or at least discounting it, since sub-par ingredients were substituted in hopes a customer wouldn't notice), i was actually charged extra for a glass of wine - when all i had was water. no one at the table had ordered wine. it took nearly 10 minutes of waiting inside for someone to come fix the tab - not even an apology. i'm insanely disappointed in the business practices and service at bean sprout. substituting sub-par ingredients while still charging for them at the premium price point is unethical, and not rectifying this situation when called out by a repeat customer is really unappealing. poor customer service is noted in a number of other reviews - sadly, it's consistent here. there are enough options nearby - even in the same Avenues center - for the same thai/ sushi/ fusion menu... stick to those. read more
