I ordered the same thing from Thai Thai III and it came with more unagi and it only cost me $24.95! They have the same menu just not the same quality. Poor management. I was repeatedly harassed by a customer and the owner didn't do anything to stop them. It got BERY out of hand. I asked a specific question about an entree, they (the waitress and the owner) did not give me the correct info, thus messing up my order. They did fix the error which I appreciated. However, I did not appreciate the waitresses comment insinuating that I was trying to get free food. How rude! The sushi tasted a little old. I ate it because I was super hungry. It was edible but reminded me of "buffet sushi". I'd expect more from a non buffet restaurant. I've been coming here for years. Very disappointed. I've noticed traffic is way down in the last year. I ordered spicy tuna and salmon teriyaki roll. The spicy tuna was just a piece of tuna in a roll, not grounded spicy tuna, the rice did not taste like sushi rice. The salmon tempura had more imitation crab meat than salmon. I original wanted to order basil chicken fried rice which is a staple of Thai restaurants and was not on their menu. The menu provided had very limited sushi items but there was a very nice sushi bar present in middle of restaurant. Go figure. My order was a takeout but I didn't get any chopsticks. No social distancing. Tables are sanitized. Lots of parking in the strip mall plaza. Their interior is stylized with Japanese-style booths and banners, but visibly worn. My seat was ripped TF UP, and our table surface seemed rife with dents and marks. Extremely understaffed. Servers were rushing from table to table, but somehow getting orders out in a timely manner. Props. SASHIMI APPETIZER: A little stale... The ice was melting, rapidly creating a bowl of mushy fish. Merp. For 12 pieces, not a bad price, but you get what you pay for. JB/TUNA/CALIFORNIA ROLLS: These were all fine. I'm also guilty of loving anything with cream cheese in it. SUPER VOLCANO ROLL: Where's the crunch? All this batter just for an oily shell of mush... The fried rice has always been consistent in my experience. Although I prefer steak or shrimp fried rice, you seem to get a better ratio of meat to rice when you order the chicken. This is still one of my favorite restaurants for fried rice in my area. read more

We've been dining here for about 10 years and we've always been treated like family. The sushi is outstanding. The last couple times we dined we ordered off menu and had the owner who makes the sushi surprise us with three rolls. Blew us away as usual. The first one was a shark nado with cooked wahoo. I've had Thai food all over the country for many years. They have very reasonable prices and great service. The noodles were a perfect consistency and texture. The chicken was tender and an ample amount. The taste of the sauce was spot on. Just the right amount of sauce and bits of peanuts. I could not be more satisfied. The server for our table was good. Food was mediocre. But when I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, it was horrible. The door to the kitchen was just. A couple feet away and the door was wide open. It was far from clean looking. The one guy behind the sushi bar was more interested in one of the girls sitting at the bar and little interested in any one else. Every time she said she liked a song he literally blasted it to the point you could not hear the person next to you. Every time I come into town, I end up here with my parents. We're not big on sushi, but we are Thai, and this is as close to authentic Thai food as I've had in Bangkok, minus the huge crowds and food carts. I think the majority of the crowd comes here for the sushi though. I don't blame them, as it looks incredible. I've tried it, but it's just not for me though. Seeing that this place had 4 stars on yelp, I decided to stop by on a Tuesday night. I haven't really been impressed by the Asian food scene in Melbourne and this pretty much reaffirmed that. So the restaurant is in the plaza with LA Fitness. It's a nice little place, clean and dark. The service was ok, but it was definitely a little slow. As for the food, this was extremely underwhelming. I'm not sure if it's a combination of this being the first Thai place I've eaten at since coming back from Thailand, or if it's the fact that this place lacks any authenticity in the dishes, but it is not good. We ordered the pad Thai and drunken noodles and neither dishes even resembled the actual dishes. The pad Thai was extremely sweet and came with this overly orange sauce, and the drunken noodles just about had no basil flavor to them. The noodles also came out at room temperature and stuck together, so they had clearly been sitting out for a while. The egg rolls were also below average. If I do return, I will at least try the sushi since that looked a little more promising than the Thai food, but if you're looking for some Thai food, this is a place to skip. read more

Very bad experience tonight, my wife ordered pad Thai with tofu and I ordered there sashimi meal, which is not even on their menu, only those who know this restaurant know about this special meal; we have been coming here for a number of years, maybe there's a new owner? My wife's pad Thai was very dry, no sauce and no taste. She got her food and was eating it for 15 minutes and I still had nothing. I finally went up to the sushi bar where they were working, and they still hadn't even started my meal. I asked about it and got a very, very rude response from the owner behind the sushi bar saying they're very busy. I said I know you're busy, but we've been waiting for a long time and my wife's almost finished with her meal and you haven't even started my sashimi special meal. I said you lost the ticket and he didn't even apologize. Very very rude to me. The people who came in 15 minutes after us at the the table next to us, received their full sushi meals, and they still didn't even start mine yet. Our son owns three restaurants in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and he said he is appalled at the reaction of an owner like this who is not apologetic for missing something, so so sad. Well, even though we've been coming here for a number of years, now we are done with dealing with a rude owner who doesn't care about a customer who has spent a lot of money at his restaurant. I've eaten here a couple of times, and it hasn't disappointed. The Thai side of the menu is pretty good, but the sushi is where it's really done right. The prices are a bit on the high side, although I expected that after visiting the location in Winter Park. What you get for the money though is well-made, good tasting sushi with fresh ingredients, some of which are quite unique. I don't remember the names of the rolls I ordered, but I've added photos of two of them. I particularly enjoyed the one wrapped in the pink soy wrapper [see photos], look for something indecipherable that starts with an "A". Auduboobaladdabo, or whatever. :-P The hamachi nigiri tasted very good and its size was just right. Plus, it was available as single pieces unlike most places that require you order them in pairs. It wasn't the cheapest place in town for good nigiri, but the price was reasonable. With a menu that seems to include a decent number of rolls that suit my taste (I try to find rolls that showcase the fish and contain no fried ingredients or large amounts of sauce), this is easily a place that merits multiple return visits. One final note worthy of mentioning... there's nothing quite like that moment of disappointment that comes over you when the waitress takes your drink order, you order a Coke or something, and she comes back with a can and a glass. Warn me first! If I'm thirsty and I know I'm going to go through more than one, I'll order something different. read more

I gave this place one star because there was no way to give zero stars. We suspect none of the food was fresh. Service was poor. Even the green tea was cold. Don't waste your money going here. The lobster pad Thai is so overcooked to the point that it's rubbery. Smacks of being reheated. All of the dishes seemed to be reheated food that was not hot enough. Even the rice wasn't very warm. Will not ever go here again. Really sorry I did this time. We told the waitress about the food and she disappeared without coming back. This always takes a 'good' visit and sets it over the top to being great. 2) Food: The menu is huge, and they span Japanese, Thai, Sushi (of different inspirations), etc. We sampled a bit from every range and there's nothing this place appears to skimp on with first glance. I had the red curry at a heat level of "You're killin me!" (thats what they told me its called). Awesome substance to the dishes we received (not just pure broth or soupy consistencies). Sushi came out well presented and tasted great. 3) Atmosphere: Pretty lively! They cram a lot into a small space but the effect comes out right. This may be in a small strip mall but you feel like you walked into a nice stand-alone with how they build this around you. Great spot for a friday dinner. I am so sick of going to this restaurant because the other Thai restaurants around are closed on Sundays... First of all the most disgusting thing about a restaurant to me is when they misrepresent their food on their menu. Everyone knows that you spell fake crab-KRAB. But they think that they can send me three different sushi rolls that are supposed to have real crab and then and it obviously has fake crab in it. Unacceptable. So i'm supposed to pay 13 or $14 for a roll and I have $100 Worth of sushi that is not what it supposed to be and there's no point in calling up there and telling them that I don't appreciate that they use fake crab because they will just continue to do it and not change the menu. The food, when we did receive it, was okay. We did, however, wait for almost an hour while 3 other couples at 3 different tables, all of whom came to the restaurant well after we did, ordered their food, recieved their food and just about finished their food before we were served. The wait staff were apologetic but there was absolutely no excuse offered which I could accept. We were hungry and waited almost an hour before someone acknowledged that our order had not come despite being asked about it numerous times. There is nothing that runis the appetite more than being treated badly. I did leave an 18%+ tip for the waitress as I am not sure whether it was her fault or the fault of someone in the kitchen who did not get or pay attention to our order. We were offered a salad, I guess, to make up for the wait, which we both declined. Overall, this did not constitute a good experience for me or for the FIT student who I brought to the restaurant. It will be a while before I return, if ever. There are, after all, other Thai restaurants. read more
