    Chicken Fried Rice Lunch

Absolutely delicious and affordable lunch spot. Fried rice is Smokey, pad thai is delicious, along with its curries. Fast service keeps us coming back for more. Try it!

Sabai Thai Thai Restaurant & Sushi Bar 215 W. Hibiscus Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32901 0 Stars ****SWILL ALERT**** Today, I feel like a doomed protagonist in a food tragedy gone horribly wrong. This place serves fare from Thailand, China, and Japan. The sushi roller is Thai, the cook Chinese and no one is Japanese. As I've mentioned repeatedly, sushi is only consumed in Thailand by tourists. These places tend to be hit-and-miss. This is a stand-alone; although the name is prevalent throughout the States, it is not part of a chain. At least not that my editor could find out online. Annie is the server and handles the entire restaurant impressively without missing a beat. She is working 12 full tables. This shows you want tenacity and hard work will get you. I asked Annie for some Pad Se Eaw, Green Curry with Tofu, a J.B. Temaki Roll and one Tuna Roll. As soon as Annie returned with my grub, I snapped a few pics and got to work. Everything looked and smelled fine. However, that is not why people eat. People eat because they are hungry and the food is good. Their offering of Pad Se Eaw was first up on the Big Boy's palate. Pad Se Eaw are stir-fried flat noodles with egg and fresh vegetables served in a Thai sweet soy sauce. If it only tasted half as good as it read, this would be a different review. As it stands, the sauce was fetid and inedible. Or maybe the noodles were bad. Regardless, I couldn't eat it. After the failed Pad Se Eaw, I focused on the Green Curry with Tofu. I love Green Curry. Traditionally served with bell peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots, green peas, zucchini, horapha (Thai Basil), and snow peas simmered in coconut milk and green curry paste. The combination of the Green Curry zing and the Coconut Milk's sweetness is one of my favorite flavor combinations. My protein of choice for this dish was tofu. I knew this was not good in one bite as the tofu was dry. This told me it wasn't stored properly. Now, whoever made this dish knew that when they got the tofu out of the walk-in or from under the prep table and decided to serve it to me anyway. FAIL. The J.B. Temaki roll was staring at me in anticipation, and I figured it had to get better. I wrapped my meat hooks around it and tentatively took a bite. It tasted so fishy that I checked the dumpster on the way to my car to see what smelled worse. This was waaaaaaaay past edible. Strike 3! Usually, I would call it quits at this point, but I did have one more selection to sample--their Tuna Roll. After the fishy J.B. Temaki, I was extraordinarily leery but had a job to do. SMELL YOUR SUSHI ROLLS PEOPLE. These little Thai clip joints hold the near fatal sushi for the rolls. I waived the fish under my proboscis. My nostrils just closed in sympathy with my recollection. Absolutely life threatening. The Big Boy says, "I just spent $72.00 for an unsweetened tea! Do NOT eat here. ****SWILL ALERT****

    Crab Krab Rangoon (Fried)

I had this meal delivered so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere but the food was great! The crab Rangoon was STUFFED with sweet crab and cream cheese. The were so plump and juicy! The soup was flavorful but a little more watery than I like, and only 1 shrimp was in it when I paid extra for it. But I still enjoyed every drop. The sashimi was super fresh! I just love the assortment they did as they are my favorites when it comes to just raw slices of fish. Generous amounts of wasabi too and I always have to add on some eel sauce. Yum!!

Sabai has become my go to spot. I've dined here 3 times and it's always on point. The Curry Puffs are puffing, the curries are currying, the sushi is sushi'ing. I like to try something new each time and the seaweed salad did not disappoint. Try it out.

    Crunchy Salmon Roll (Tempura)

Overpriced and small amount of food and options. Called for takeout and they didn't have any seafood available as entrees. This "roll" was 17 dollars. Extremely disappointing.

This place falls into the "Don't judge a book by its cover". It is in a strip mall next to a massage parlor and tiny market. It is one block from the Hilton, Melbourne Airport. The menu was extensive and including lots of choices for sushi and Thai dishes. I ordered a combination sushi dish and the portion was massive and tasted delicious! It came with a huge side salad with a yummy Ginger dressing. I will definitely return when I am back in Melbourne.

Clean, following COVID protocol. It didn't take long for the rolls. Our waitress was friendly & knowledgeable. The sushi was flavorful n fresh. My sons & I enjoyed our rolls & experience. We will dine here again.

(but also... send help)…read more Let me start by saying: I came to Osuki All You Can Eat Sushi as a normal, responsible adult. I left as a human sushi roll with zero self-control and absolutely no regrets. Round 1: "I'll pace myself." Round 2: "Okay but these rolls are tiny, so it doesn't count." Round 3: "We don't quit in this family." Round 4: I started negotiating with my waistband. The sushi? Fresh, fast, and dangerously delicious. Like... suspiciously good for something labeled "all you can eat." The spicy tuna had me questioning my loyalty to every other sushi place I've ever been to. And the fried rolls? Crispy little traps of joy. AND the vibe? Super cute, really clean, and tons of seating--so even while I was making questionable life choices, at least I was doing it in a place that felt put together and comfortable. Service was on POINT. Our server kept the plates coming like they were personally invested in my downfall. At one point I'm pretty sure they made eye contact with me like, "You sure about this?" No. No I was not. By the end, I was: 70% sushi 20% soy sauce 10% poor decision-making Would I go back? Absolutely. Will I learn my lesson? Absolutely not. Pro tip: Do not say "just one more roll." It is never just one more roll. 10/10 would roll myself out of there again.

Love the made-to-order system: you pick from the menu, and small plates keep coming endlessly. Except waiting for your order to be ready must be hectic over the weekends. I went there on Friday yet I had to wait for my small plate to be rolled The rollers are authentic Oriental pros (always a great sign - no chill vibes from non-traditional hands behind the bar). I went heavy on sashimi, and every piece arrived beautifully presented, super fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Rolls, nigiri, and sides were top-notch too. Deep bonus: Need a tattoo? The neighbor next door is killer! Highly recommend for quality AYCE without the buffet staleness. "

From the moment we walked in, the service was a complete disaster. After waiting nearly 30 minutes just to place our order, we patiently sat and watched as other tables--who arrived after us--received their food. An hour passed, and still nothing. We asked our server multiple times about our order, and each time they either ignored us or mumbled something about it "being on the way." Spoiler alert: it never came. As if that wasn't bad enough, when we finally gave up and asked for the check, they had the nerve to try and charge us for the food we never received! When we pointed out the mistake, the staff acted annoyed and defensive, as if we were the problem. No apology, no explanation--just a rude attitude and a half-hearted offer to "check with the kitchen," which at that point was pointless. To make it even worse they had no music playing and it was just quiet. We walked out hungry, frustrated, and completely shocked at how poorly this place is run.
