Sushi Mori 1105 Palm Bay Rd. Ste. 6, Palm Bay, FL 32905 ***SWILL ALERT*** Oh yeah, baby! Glancing down at my random name generator I couldn't be more pleased for staring back at me was the name of Sushi Mori in Palm Bay, FL. Someone was about to scarf down some raw fish. I do love good sushi. It's my favorite food...after tacos, pizza, steak, gyros, etc. Walking into the joint two things immediately struck me. First and foremost the place was empty. The second thing that struck me was undoubtedly the reason why the place was empty. I was smacked upside the olfactory nerve with such a strong smell of fish I looked about for a used firkin. Not seeing one, I could only come to the conclusion that their offerings that day were beyond the freshness date. Trying not to gag. The stench was that overwhelming; I grabbed a table was was introduced to Gina, my server. Gina was very congenial and took my drink order with professionalism. When she returned with our drinks, the owner came over and tried to convince me his fish was fresh and not past the point of freshness or even rotting. I've said this once, I'll say it a million more if I must. If you walk into a sushi establishment and smell fish. Turn around and walk out. Fresh fish does not smell like that. You have to literally put your nose on a fresh fish to get a hint of that fishy smell. Mostly, you get saltwater notes. After 5 minutes, my nose did not become accustomed to the smell and I was forced to leave without trying anything. The gut-wrenching smell of rotting fish permeated my nostrils the entire drive home. The Big Boy says, "Don't do it."

    The shrimp shumai was spectacular

From the service to the sushi itself an absolute 10/10. The ambiance is super chill and the servers were super sweet. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!!

A true hidden family owned and run gem!! We were so impressed with this place, from the interior to the service and of course the food. Our server was the daughter of the owners and waited on us hand and foot- incredibly sweet and attentive. The sushi was seriously tasty and the BiBimBop was 10/10. We're looking forward to not only returning, but telling others about it! Yum!

Their rice is like creamy happiness and makes the sushi so much better. Their fish is fresh every time. We have tried almost every roll and have never been disappointed. They have other dishes as well. Whether it is Ramen or Katsu, you will love it. If you like spicy, try their Spicy beef ramen or the spicy kani salad. So good and if you're ailing, the ramen soup will nurse you back to health. The service is excellent. Everyone works hard as you will see them scurrying around to ensure everyone is served. The best part is the floor manager. Her name is Mama. She watches over the customers and staff with a watchful eye. She is so awesome. Older woman with the spunk of a teenager. The owner and family always have a smile for all customers too. Good people. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! Do not just show up or you will likely have to wait. This is most nights, but especially in the weekends. And the food to value is excellent. No matter what form your sushi takes here, the quality is excellent and prices are good as well. Oh and for fun, they have sumo wrestling on the TV. Our favorite. We have no idea what's going on, but fun to watch while we eat.

Facility: They are located on the end of a strip mall. It's a small place that's best for takeout. Theu have 11 chairs that can sit at a small counter, and a small bench for waiting and set up for a cute photo op. Service: The gentleman that helped up was very nice and made us feel very appreciated. He did tell us after we ordered that there was more flavors of Boba on the QR code menu... kind of felt like he should have told us before. Otherwise, excellent customer service!! Food: We ordered Boba tea and it was yum!! They had the cutest cups they serve them in too!! The cups are leakproof until you break the seal to drink your boba... so great for takeout as no chance to spill when you're traveling. I got mango tea with raspberry popping boba and we also got strawberry tea with passion fruit popping boba. Both weee delicious!! We ordered some gyoza, and a bento box with steak. I really like it was on a bed of cabbage. The steak was good, but very small serving of meat. I really enjoyed the cabbage under the steak. Also, we liked the gyoza and California roll were good. And I have to give accolades for the eggroll... for the texture people, the inside is a little mushy, but the flavor was sooo good. I really enjoyed it as it's so hard to find decent eggroll/spring roll around town. Overall: we loved this little spot. We will be back!!! I live I have Boba so close to my house!!!! Now only if they delivered, so I could get it on those lazy days.

You know that letdown when you return to a place you loved and it's not the same? That's never happened to me at Naoki. Naoki is an absolute gem in Brevard County. I've been coming here with my fiancée, family, and friends for YEARS, and I honestly can't believe I haven't written a review until now. When you step into Naoki, it feels like walking into a cozy, tucked-away restaurant in Japan. The space is filled with personality--surf photography, muscle cars, Japanese comic books, spirits, and even photos of the streets Naoki grew up on. It's charming, nostalgic, and unlike anything else around. Nine times out of ten, you'll find Naoki right behind the sushi bar with the rest of the team, crafting delicious roll after roll. Now for the important part--the food. It's incredible. Their menu has everything from ramen to curry to takoyaki, but my ultimate weakness here is the sushi. One roll I always recommend is the Yokosuka with shrimp--perfect if you're into American-style rolls. It's massive, loaded with shrimp tempura, and topped with seasoned minced tuna that's unbelievably soft and flavorful. The combination of melt-in-your-mouth tuna with the crunch of the tempura is chef's kiss. But the real star for me is their Nigiri. I recently visited Japan, and I can confidently say Naoki's Nigiri tastes just like some of the sushi I had over there. Nigiri is simple--just fish and rice--which means the quality has to shine... and here, it absolutely does. The fish is always clean, fresh, and beautifully prepared. My go-to Nigiri lineup (in order): Aburi Salmon, Raw Salmon, Hamachi, Tuna, and Eel. I could eat Nigiri from Naoki all day long. Their fried gyoza is also fantastic--we almost always get an order for the table. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, and served with a bit of cabbage, which I love. And of course, don't forget to grab a cold Sapporo--one of my favorite Japanese beers and a perfect match for everything. The staff here is wonderful. They always make you feel welcomed and at home. A few weeks ago, I actually brought my camera to capture photos of the food and the ambiance for this review, but life got busy and I didn't get around to editing them until now. I've visited multiple times since taking those photos, which just shows how much I genuinely love this place. This review isn't sponsored--I just appreciate Naoki that much. Thank you, Naoki and staff, for feeding me and my loved ones for so many years. You all are amazing. I've included photos of some of my favorites. I left as a human sushi roll with zero self-control and absolutely no regrets. Round 1: "I'll pace myself." Round 2: "Okay but these rolls are tiny, so it doesn't count." Round 3: "We don't quit in this family." Round 4: I started negotiating with my waistband. The sushi? Fresh, fast, and dangerously delicious. Like... suspiciously good for something labeled "all you can eat." The spicy tuna had me questioning my loyalty to every other sushi place I've ever been to. And the fried rolls? Crispy little traps of joy. AND the vibe? Super cute, really clean, and tons of seating--so even while I was making questionable life choices, at least I was doing it in a place that felt put together and comfortable. Service was on POINT. Our server kept the plates coming like they were personally invested in my downfall. At one point I'm pretty sure they made eye contact with me like, "You sure about this?" No. No I was not. By the end, I was: 70% sushi 20% soy sauce 10% poor decision-making Would I go back? Absolutely. Will I learn my lesson? Absolutely not. Pro tip: Do not say "just one more roll." It is never just one more roll. 10/10 would roll myself out of there again.

I would go to Thai dishes at any Thai restaurant or Massa man in Penang. We weren't extremely hungry so our table of six ordered one kids teriyaki, two Massaman with chicken and white rice, and one order of Krab Rangoon's. I didn't try the chicken teriyaki but my girls (5 and 6) shared one kids meal and they ate all of it. So I feel that's a great indication it was good. The Krab Rangoons were oddly very fishy and very stringy. I'm used to them being not fishy, and having more of a mushy texture. The peculiar fishy taste threw me off. Yes it's fish, but the fishy taste is not usual. We didn't finish these. The Massaman was 5 stars. It wasn't watered down, and it had the nutty flavor we expect from Massaman. Two bowls were easily shared between 4 adults. The sodas are canned so just know this when ordering. I can't recall if the menus shows this. The restaurant could use a deep clean- the bathroom vents were quite dusty (the kids noticed this, I don't usually stare at vents ) which to me usually means the entire restaurant needs a bit more love and attention. Nothing was so bad though that I'd feel unsafe yo eat here just a bit more care. The service was fine. Nothing superb, nothing bad. The servers did their job and that was it.
