OMG this is deff my fav Japanese restaurant in Brevard! The aesthetic is so cute and everyone working here is so welcoming. The taste of the food is delicious and the drink options are extensive and super yummy! I want to go here like every weekend! I've tried the beef and the chicken bowl. I think my favorite is the beef bowl but I recommend both! Hopefully this place sticks around forever!

The food was amazing !!.. like absolutely hibachi express could neverrrr! (Omg the yum yum sauce is 5 stars, on its own!!)((everything was 5 stars though imo)) The younger gentleman was as kind as could be and answered all my random questions. lol the ambiance is adorable!!! You can watch your DELICIOUS boba ((STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE BOBBAAA!!)) being made and then take a cute selfie on the aestheticly beautiful greenery wall Have already been back! Only have had boba and hibachi, and omg... Top Tier, chefs kiss

So happy I finally gave this place a try. Spicy tuna crispy rice is something I've been craving a lot recently and Little Santouka was close enough for me to order it. The rice is cooked to a crispy and tuna wasn't too spicy. The freshness of the sliced jalapeño on top added depth with a drizzle of soy sauce of a salty bite. The edamame was standard and gave me the extra protein I needed. Definitely recommend!

Kitchen Entree - Chicken and Popcorn Chicken

I bought the chicken entree with veggies and rice. I literally stopped eating to grab my phone and write this review. DELICIOUS! Every part is great. The chicken was tender and the popcorn chicken was crunchy with perfect flavor. My picky toddler ate this. We both recommend this! Yummy!!!

Passion fruit green tea with regular boba

Good vibes! The boba is fresh it's chewy and sweet . If you don't like tapioca boba ask for the popping boba instead I recommend the passion fruit tea boba , it's refreshing. The only downside side is I think the rolls are a bit too pricy for the size but the food is fresh . There's nice stools to chill while you eat . The staff are very pleasant to talk to.

The left is the Brulee Oreo milk tea and the right is the ubetaro san signature tea. Half drank lol

Great new place! The sushi is simple and delicious. We loved the spam musubi as well! We can't find it many other places nearby. The milk tea and boba selection is unmatched. So many unique and fun choices. The café is clean and cute. Looking forward to revisiting!

The steak in the bento box was about as tough as beef jerky. Everything else was average. Didn't come with yum yum sauce.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more As of this review, there are three kava bars located in south Brevard county, specifically in Palm Bay, FL: Kraken Kava Bar, Nocturne Teas, and Kalea Kava Bar. To further expand my kava horizons, I decided to go north and check out the other kava bars in my county. Simply because this kava bar is also owned by the same people who own Kraken Kava, I wanted to check out Pau Hana first. I will say their kava is a little better than the average, especially compared to certain locales in Historic Downtown Melbourne, but what I love the most is the ambiance and the fact I made some new kava community friends here, too. Though an address is provided, Pau Hana is located in Metro West, the strip mall that also home to the iconic card, board, and tabletop game store, Get Your Fun On, and the best sushi restaurant in all of Brevard County, Umami. Pau Hana is along the eastside of the strip mall just south of the gym. Just like most kava bars I have been to, it is a small-ish space, but what stood out first was the ambiance. Since kava originates from Pacific island nations, especially its believed origin of Vanuatu, many kava bars seem to opt for a stereotypical pacific islander vibe. Pau Hana, though the name is Hawaiian for "Finished Word," the interior seems more like a secret garden. The interior has flora arrangements, flowered vines, and a color scheme that matches the aforementioned secret garden theme, but it is not overly stereotypical of Pacific Island nations. There are also swinging chairs hanging from the ceiling, which I am unsure require a weight limit notice. I assume anyone can sit, but if you weigh more than 350 pounds, you may want to reconsider any thoughts on sitting in those said chairs. There is also a pool table in the back for those who would enjoy a game of 8-Ball, 9-Ball, One Pocket, or Cutthroat. I loved the drink menu they provided here, especially the kava mocktails. The two I had during my visits were the Horchata Kava and the Dirty Chai. The former is a kava mocktail that consists with your choice kava, oatmilk, cinnamon, vanilla and a garnish of a vanilla stick. The latter is your choice of kava, chai tea, vanilla, and your choice of creamer. I had it once with Irish cream and another time with hazelnut. Both were good. And speaking of kava mocktails, I have to give my regards to Eloise as she's been the kavatender every time I been to Pau Hana. Does an excellent job making my cocktails, but doesn't really have time to converse as every time I am there, the bar is somewhat packed. Ultimately, I am going to give Pau Hana a four-out-of-five star rating for its ambiance, its menu, and the fact my circile of kava community friends grew there. If the bar continues to be consistent in their service, environment, and menu, I will grant them their fifth star in an updated review.

There's also a pool table and some fun swinging chairs near the entrance that make the place super inviting. Eloise was my Kava tender and she was the absolute sweetest--super welcoming and kind. I tried 2x Original Kava Shells and 1x Kava Chai, and everything was smooth, balanced, and relaxing. Eloise made the whole experience even better with her friendly energy and helpful recommendations. Definitely a great spot to unwind--I'll be back!

I've been attending this bar for years and frankly have a lot of opinions. I first started coming…read moreto Kavasutra in the spring of 2022. I started drinking Kava and Kratom products in the fall of 2021 when I moved to Melbourne. I first started coming after car meets that were held close by in the LA Fitness parking lot since it was Kava (something I had been enjoying for 6 months prior) that was close to where I was and they were open late. At the time, the cleanliness of the bar was very good and staff were very nice. So, my car friends and I would pop in and enjoy. The bar has always had a "standoffish" clientele, since a lot of them are not super welcoming, but the staff more than made up for it with engaging conversation and trying to get you to break the ice and you into the new environment. We started to create relationships, and then staff started to invite us to have car meets in their side parking lot. Over 2022-2023, I had been many times for car meets, to watch local bands, attend their events, go on dates, and for personal enjoyment. In the summer of 2023, I noticed things started to go downhill. Cleanliness of the bar was poor, They started making the bar a lot darker, started limiting events that they had, and I noticed a lot of disrespect from male staff--especially toward some of my friends, who they claimed "were ugly." On a separate occasion, my friend, who happens to be a model, was told that if she flashed them, her tab would be free! The female staff were very unfriendly and gave me and my friends eye rolls and no attention since they assumed women-to-women wouldn't tip as much as the male patrons. I ultimately stopped going to the Palm Bay location and started going to other alternative Kava and Kratom spots nearby. I was very excited, though, when they opened up the Eau Gallie (close to my home) and Viera (close to where I worked at the time) locations and had tried both of them. Eau Gallie is very small, and all the staff except one were very unwelcoming. I've never had issues with Viera, and it's the BEST Kavasutra location I've been to--but I've only ever gone when there was a male kavatender. Unfortunately, Kavasutra has always had a reputation for being "crass." During COVID, they told people they would not be allowed to attend the bar if they were wearing a mask! I feel as though if you want to wear a mask, you can, and if you don't want to wear a mask, you shouldn't have to. Recently, though, they have come at other bars (specifically Nocturne) that have opened up in close proximity to Kavasutra and dragged the businesses openly on social media! Kavasutra was even running an event to trade another bar's tea for their tea to show people it was superior. HOWEVER, every single time they have opened a location, it has always been near another existing bar! They opened the Eau Gallie location 2.5 miles away from Island Root EGAD and opened up the Viera location 1.7 miles away from Island Root Suntree--which is just hypocritical! I feel as though what they were doing was super unprofessional, very immature, and it's just not the vibe that the Kava community should have I really hope this bar can turn around, but as it stands right now, I will never be attending again. I hope they have a change in staff and actually start hiring people with better customer service experience .
