Second time trying this restaurant. Never going back. The seaweed salad was bland and BAD. Like- it was NOT FRESH. The drunken noodles with beef were okay, besides smelling like dog food and having some grisly pieces. Salmon roll was good- can't really screw it up- although it was $8 for 8 really small pieces. The ikura was the worst- it was so sour I had to spit it out- I've never had ikura that had turned so badly. Bottom line- FOOD IS NOT FRESH! Never returning. Gross. First impressions can be deceiving - based on their online gallery and descriptions of items on the menu, my expectations were high. Nothing to write home about.....veggie spring rolls are expensive considering their size, and they were very salty - especially if you didn't use the accompanying dipping sauce. The garlic stir fry and broccoli stir fry weren't all that impressive either, tasted like steamed veggies thrown into a sauce. I have always loved this restaurant I've never had a bad meal and Service has always been OK nothing great but after going there this past week I was curious on the rational thinking about even opening the restaurant. One person at the cash register one person making the sushi and one waitress. If you ordered a beer or sake or pho it was in a typical glass container but all other meals when served to you while eating in were served in takeout containers. OK so you're thinking maybe they're being protective, well when you see the waitress picking up the dirty containers throwing them in the trash without gloves then grabbing my saki container to fill it up , which came back with brown spots on it from the residue of the dirty containers one is to think is this really for hygiene and safety? The waitress is not wearing gloves and I am witnessing as everyone was in there that they are going from table to table with the same gloves and not changing them and discarding the takeout containers. I think the rational of this restaurant was , we have laid off half of our staff we do not want to hire them back so we are not going to use dishes where we have to have a dish washer. With something like this, it's better to keep the restaurant closed until you have a full staff because I'd feel the hygiene and service would be so much better, and it wouldn't have taken 2 hrs for a simple meal that normally is a 40 minute dining experience. I don't mean to be critical but this was my third excursion on going out to eat and everywhere else we had plates, going to eat sushi and green curry in a takeout container is not a pleasant experience and more so pouring my sake from a container that has smears of other peoples food where she emptied the containers is less desirable. read more

Perhaps we visited on an off night. Our meal was nothing special for the price we paid. Although the sushi nachos were good, they were served on corn tortilla chips instead of the fried wontons stated on the menu. I think that kind of screwed up what could've been a great dish. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! We had been looking forward to try out this new Pan-Asian restaurant, so this evening, we decided to meet up with our friends there for dinner. However, when we walked in, no one greeted us. There were a few tables of customers, yet there was only one server (who was one of the owners) on the floor. Finally, she walked over and she looked annoyed when my husband asked for a table of 8. She looked overwhelmed and frustrated. (Duh! Please hire some people to help out!) Since she was the only one who served all the other tables, she wasn't able to set up the table for us immediately, so we waited and waited for 30 minutes. While we were standing there, we witnessed her giving horrible customer service to other diners. For example, a kid asked his mom why there was no bo-ba in his beverage, the owner pointed rudely at this kid and blamed on him, "YOU SAID NO BO-BA! YOU SAID NO BO-BA!" The kid's dad then politely asked the owner for a slush with bo-ba, and the mean owner said in a very rude manner, "URGG! OK! Let me see let me see!" And the customers were confused... Well, after we finally got seated, we waited for 20 minutes and still no one brought us any menu or asked what we wanted for drinks. Our kids and our friends' kids got hungry and impatient. Wow, the owner didn't care! We felt kind of insulted, so we walked out of the restaurant. Yes, we left, and this owner didn't even care! She just walked by us, ignored us, and didn't even bother to ask us what happened. To us, she didn't even care about our business. We and our friends ended up going to Bonefish, which was way more crowded, but the customer service was 100% better. These people need to understand that this is a small town, and word of mouth is very important. We will never ever go back there again, and we will share with everyone we know about our horrible experience at Bean Sprouts. read more

We are still kind of new to Viera, but we have found that Bean Sprout is our go to. We get take out regularly from here and we are always thrilled we did! We've had several of their rolls and also their Korean beef bulgogi- my grandmother is Korean so I had high expectations and it was delicious and served with kimchi- thank you! We've also eaten in at the restaurant and have had mixed experiences. I've seen overwhelmed waitresses on nights that should not have been busy, but boy were they busy! And I've also been regular Friday night servers cruising through the evening no problem. But their food has never disappointed! read more

The 3rd time i had salad soup and spring rolls - it was great!! 4th time Teriyaki beef which was dry and chewy! Just horrible! Last night i figured beef was out so tried garlic chicken. Chicken was bland and dry and tasteless. i drowned it in soy sauce so I could eat a little. Great food, great environment, no complaints about the chefs or the meals. Our server, however, is a different. On 5/25/2021, I ordered the lunch special (crab fried rice and spring egg roll) and thai iced tea to go. By the time I got home through construction zone, parked and got inside 40 minutes later, I sat down to eat and noticed that I did NOT get crab fried rice. I was given chicken fried rice and the egg roll had two bits of plastic in it. I checked my receipt and was charged $18.40 by Kevin for a telephone order instead of in-person) for plain chicken fried rice and a plastic-filled egg roll. The special was $12. I ordered the panag Thai curry and was told that I it is a 2.00 up charge to add onion. Which is fine because businesses have to make their Money however they can and I support capitalism. The panag curry was really good, I usually eat across the street at Thai Hana so my review is a bit biased since I am comparing the two. Thai Hana cannot make anything tempura and I suspect they can't make hot curry either... bean sprout made it for me today and it was great. One issue; they need more help and should hire more employees .... my waiter was nice hOwever she was too busy to attend to me. When I asked her what's popular on the menu she went straight to the highest priced items (I looked around there were only 2 seats open and no one had ordered the highest priced items) clearly a grab for more money. Go for the curry; don't pay for the upcharges and sit at the bar if you want any attention. Happy hour is $9 drinks so I recommend the melting pot for $5.50 drinks instead. Sushi/sashimi was awful. Tuna smelled strong and not right, and was not cold in the least bit so overall took probably two bites and could not eat the rest. Pad Thai was alright. Side salad with ginger dressing was probably the best thing we got, which is kind of sad. Miso soup was okay--the tofu was obviously just added and not soaked. If we try again, probably will try at a full sushi roll and probably make sure it's cooked. read more

Went to this place with my husband because we were on our way to an early-ish movie and hungry and it seemed not busy. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is very trendy-looking and very clean. Service was a bit awkward and disorganized, but no one was rude. Our food came quickly, though there were only about three tables being served at the time. We had the steamed shumai appetizer and it was honestly just OK. Too much pork and I wasn't thrilled with the abundance of shredded cabbage on the plate with the dumplings. But the sushi was very good and generously portioned. My husband had the beef fried rice and it was excellent. I had a glass of the house cabernet and it was nice, though I am not terribly picky about wine. The menu is huge and has some interesting-sounding offerings. We will go back. read more

Horrible experience! I used to frequent this restaurant 2-3 times per week. Tonight we waited over an hour and a half with no food. Most of the restaurant that came after us had been served. When I brought to the attention of the server he responded, " I lost your ticket." Then, when my daughter was thirsty , I mentioned how long we had waited with no food and nobody to bring us drinks that I had to serve us water, she smiled and nodded.. My sister didn't like her meal so she had about two bites and left the rest.
