Do NOT go there if you expect to be measured for any clothing alterations as they do not do any measuring.

Worst service and I provided many chances…read more I asked for a large coffee stain ring to be removed from a Couch cover. It was returned in exactly the same condition although I was told that they had special stain removers that they could use when they laundered it. (see picture) It was in their care for 10 days. I got at home and noticed the stain, I went back to the grande ave store and they told me to go to their NW blvd location and talk to them about them trying again. I told him I don't have time to drive to another one of their locations because I work full-time. Finally I decided to try to wash it myself with a stain remover and washed on cold. It came fully out. When I advised them I would like a refund, the Customer Service person told me she didn't have the authority and that she would have her manager call me. I had to call six additional and never received a call. Finally on the seventh call I was told I could have an in-store credit but I could not have cash back. They rationalized this by saying they aren't allowed to use the same cleaning supplies we can at home. I've worked in all kinds of Customer Service, and this was one of the worst I've ever experienced. I now have a credit to use but I don't trust them. i am not usually one up write bad reviews as I'd rather resolve 1:1. However the amount of time I wasted and the lack of concern really got to me. I don't know if the picture will show the big stain well....it is how they returned it to me. Thankfully I got the stain out on my own.

Ive posted a comparison of what the blanket should look like (LEFT) and what I got back from the dry cleaners (RIGHT). When I went in to talk to them about it after I got home and noticed, the young girl told me she couldn't get ahold of anyone for a refund and told me to come back the following Monday to talk to someone else. Came back in on Monday to someone else to them call the downtown location where things actually get cleaned. Over the phone I heard the woman ask, "was it a green blanket?" To which after the phone call was over, I asked if she knew about this mistake and the person working confirmed that the facility knew they messed up and didn't say anything about it. If they had owned up to their mistake and let me know ahead of time with a voucher or something that would have been something. Instead they wanted to offer me a voucher after I came to THEM when they messed up and wanted to sweep it under the rug. They issued me a refund check in the mail for the $32 service, but it won't replace the blanket I sent in (which was imported from England). If I wanted it shrank, I'd have ran it through the wash/drier myself back home. If you have things that need to be dry cleaned, take them elsewhere because the deceit and poor care for your things is not worth the risk.

I have always used Clarks Cleaners and I messed up big time allowing a So Called Business such as this to touch my items and reach my wallet! Was told one price and charged another, like $3.50 More per shirt! On top of that they charged me for starched items that were Never Starched! BUYER BEWARE! I'm not a regular patron of dry cleaners. In fact, my motto has always been, "If I can't wash it,…read morethen I wasn't meant to own it." Well, I'm not in undergrad anymore and can't get away with that attitude. Since I'm new to dry cleaning, I can't really say what is expensive vs. cheap. I can say though, that M Pressed dry cleaners took good care of me. I took in a suit full of wrinkles, soup spatters, and pilling and they gave it back pressed and pretty. They dry cleaned a king sized silk quilt for me for what I thought was a steal. I also just sent in a coat to be fixed by their tailor (a hardware clasp button frayed off) so I'll give the 411 on that soon as well. As far as convenience (next door to Taco Del Mar [vegan options!], Starbucks, a bank, and across the street from Albertsons), efficiency, and service go, this place has been great. I walk in, tell them what I want done, they get to me right away, and compliment my taste in cardigans. What more could a girl ask for? Oh, I guess a good final product; which they have delivered every time! UPDATE: My coat came back. The clasp was sewn on upside down...and they didnt clean it the first time through. They "re-cleaned" it free of charge though. My clasp is still upside down to this day
