I only write this in the hopes the owner sincerely makes changes. This place has clearly not even been surface cleaned in months. filthy. The dirtiest establishment I've been to in San Diego, let alone Del Mar. Dust on top, below, and the sides of every surface. This is disrespectful to your customers and shows a complete disregard for surrounding businesses. I always assumed due to the location this must be one of the best laundromats in the county, even in the ghetto many owners have pride of ownership. Please take better care of this place and your customers, or sell the company to someone that will. Please! Ps. I had broom in my truck and spent the entire hour cleaning your floors and wiping down countertops so that the other 12 people didn't have to stand in filth. I left the broom for you, your staff, or whoever else gives a damn to use in the future. Thank you. read more

Clean and friendly staff. All machines were working, and strong wifi connection. Highly recommend!

FILTHY! trash cans are overflowing, floors are littered with trash, dog hair and debris, detergent cups in machines are filled with scum from accumulated detergent and have dog hair in them, washers have slimy accumulations of detergent inside them and more dog hair, sink is dirty and filled with sand, no paper towels to dry hands and laundry carts have trash in them, theres random socks and articles of clothing laying all over and the countertops for folding are covered in trash, dirty and have stuff littered all over them as well. The other reviews looked decent so I decided to try this place but I will not return. The owners need to maintain this place over the weekend like all the surrounding laundromats do. Theres plenty in the area that wipe out the washers and dryers along with detergent cup areas every single night, sweep and mop their floors and empty their trash cans at the very least. Theres at least a minimal expectation of cleanliness especially in locations such as this, a Southern CA coastal town with upscale dining, residential neighborhoods, shopping etc. read more

This is a very solid laundromat that is clean, well kept and best of all- open late! It's tucked away in the corner across from the Mexican restaurant. I like the late hours and how there isn't a wait for machines when I go. There aren't a ton of other laundromats in the Del Mar area so not a lot of places to compete with but they are a good value and comfortable spot. read more

For $21.50 we were able to use the large washer and dryers to complete multiple loads of laundry with 2 machines. Make sure to smell inside the machines before using them. A lot of people come to wash their blankets for their horses. If your load follows that your clothes won't smell clean. There are smaller machines for $4 per load. We opted for the larger ones. The laundromat accepts cash and cards. This is a great way to get a lot of laundry done quickly. It may even help save on your electric bill. The machines are easy enough for my teenage boys to use. read more

The owners are very nice and helpful. The facility however, needs lots of cleaning and some maintenance. Some of the carts are broken and most washers and dryers are very dirty. So is the floor. And there aren't enough outlets available to be able to do some work/school while you're there waiting for your washing to be done. Prices are pretty average and you're able to use card and/or coins to operate the machines. read more

I've been going to this specific laundromat for years now - plenty of parking, clean machines, rarely any out of order. Came here today to do some heavy cleaning after a long out-of-towner visit for blankets/pillows, and no surprise, got started right away. The gracious attendant, John, took great care of us and doled out some sage advice on machine usage, glad he was there to help and keep an eye out. An added surprise; clean bathroom!! I'd come back just for that :^D read more

It was 24 hours & I didn't have to drive to sketchy National City or Chula Vista instead. I was probably the sketchiest person here @ 4:10am. LOL.. :::TRUTH::: it was due time to wash all my hoodies, bandanas, beach towels + socks (*I rarely wear underwear so I was good on that front.. ) They actually did have an open bathroom, which +in my expert opinion+ is worth its weight in gold. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *** PRICES *** - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ------------------------------------------------ WASHER RATES: ------------------------------------------------ (2) commercial washers (older models): 2.75 (11 quarters) (13) Normal load: $3 (4) 3x load: 4.50 (18 quarters) (4) unlabeled: 6.50 (26 quarters) (4) 6x/60 lbs: 7.50 (30 quarters) (4) 8x: 9.75 (39 quarters) I washed my stuff in a triple wash machine + it said it would take 26 mins to wash. Everything came out pretty clean, except for a couple rags and a pair of socks. ------------------------------------------------ DRYER RATES: ------------------------------------------------ (4) 5x dryer: 3 mins/25c (26) 3x dryers: 6 mins/25c This place was definitely unstaffed the entire time I was here but luckily, I didn't run into any major problems w/ the machines. As expected the clientele that was there @ 4am was on the weird side... My dryer had a lint trap that was NOT locked, so I took the liberty of cleaning it. I am not sure how dirty lint traps slow down or impede the drying process but I will say that my dryers lint trap was incredibly dirty + poorly maintained. There were big holes in it, suggesting it may have survived a war perhaps. (**My clothes actually still came out awesome so consider this just me bitching and whining over basically nothing!! ) --------------------------------------------------- "WASH + FOLD" RATES: ------------------------------------------------ There were (6) lockers available for people looking for "WASH + FOLD" service. Note: the sign reads that there is a $25 minimum for this service (@ $2.50/lb). Just an FYI.. Last thing: I used the restroom before I left + I regret having done so. Someone had puked pn the floor and I noticed a syringe cap + other evidence that a customer had been using the restroom to shoot some drugs. I can't really hold this against the business so much so I am not docking stars for this. However I WILL say that certain signs make it apparent that no management ever comes by to check on this place late at night, so come late at your own risk. I never took eyes off my clothes bc that was just the vibe I got from the other customers present. FREE WIFI. WIFI info: Guest: Beachside Laundry Pass: 8584819552 read more

October 2023. First time visiting this place. It's not very clean. Most of the washers have rust and gunk on it. Most of the washers smells bad so I had to sniff all of them to see which one doesn't have the stench. The cleanest one is the 6 load washer for $8.50 (EST. 28 Minutes). High in price. Other washer are a bit cheaper. The dryers could look better. 50 cents for only 3 minutes. Do your math depending how long you want dry your clothes. Good thing is they do take card! (Don't use the restroom) Don't come unless you really need to and it's late at night. 24hr for the win I guess. read more

This is a very good and ethical clean establishment aside from the horse people washing their stuff and not cleaning out the machines. Once they use them, the machines smell like dirt and manure and something foul and takes out almost half of the small machines. I would definitely come after this place and is The best laundromat around read more

I came by here several times to see if it was getting any better, and after I noticed it was looking cleaner~ I decided to do my laundry. I've been using different machines, and I've been here 2 or 3 times now, and it still seems cleaner. The restroom was closed/locked for the 1st time since I've been coming here. It says to use a token/ask attendant, but when it's 6am there's no attendant and not sure how to get a 1.00 token. The TV is finally fixed! It was crazy annoying before as it kept constantly skipping over and over again. read more

I'm not sure what happened. This place used to be very clean. Many of the washers smell mildewy and have gunk all over them. It's clearly not one days worth of gunk either. General filth throughout, like nothing has been wiped down in ages. It needs a good deep cleaning, not just a broom sweep every night. Fan rattling on the ceiling looks like it is about to fall down. read more

First time here. The person on site was nice and helpful .However the machines are not very clean, inside or out. The facility was swept a few times while there. Most washers/ dryers take both card and quarters some only take quarters. Handful of machines out of order and not working properly. Washed some items twice because of that. The wash and dry are expensive to be expected with many laundromats but you also expect your clothes to be washed. Spent money and time and my items did not dry well, left with wet and smelly blankets. Before I come over someone told me this place has changed used to be clean and machines worked but now it's dirty and clothes come out smelling like wet animal and or mold. I tried it for myself and believe it now. read more

I had to visit because my washer/dryer is currently out of service due to a remodel. I haven't been to a laundromat in a very long time and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The man and woman working was very helpful and so nice! They had the doors open for great ventilation and lots of sitting areas. They even have a reading corner with a massage chair! I tried out the massage chair and it was very high quality. What I thought would be a hassle ended up being a pleasant experience. There are also lots of places right nearby to eat and shop as well. read more

Man with braces screamed and yelled at me today while I dried my laundry. I notified a laundry attendant that their was wet pee dog beds in the dryer. She called me a bitch. She had brown hair and was a curvy woman about 45. I can't put my work clothes In when it smells like dog pee. Anyways a man with braces overheard that I noticed her of the dog pee. He started freaking out, getting in my face and saying you can leave if you don't like the dryer! He stomped around running back and forth, left his black bmw suv parked illegally out front. He had braces. He walked to the gas station and came back with a gas can- I assume to scare me. He sat in his car 30 mins out front to intimidate me. He finally left. I dried and folded my laundry. The woman with brown hair who called me a birch because I told her the dryer smells like pee, she got in my face (I have a video) she got all around and started to look through my folded clothes and blankets and bins. She accused me of taking her car keys that she "left on the counter" which was a lie. I sat there 45 mins no car keys I rewatched my video while the man screamed at me. Word for word he said. She thinks they all smell like dog pee! (I reported one) then he said "you are fighting with the owner right now, just so you know you're fighting with the owner. He had a leg tattoo and those princess loafer shoes on. Matched his black bmw. He also had a nice stain on his shirt while he yelled, flabbergasted. After rewatching the video what a travesty. Because I reported one dryer down. People lose it read more

· No attendant/representative on site between 5:30pm-8am · Did not return my call regarding clothes I left in a dryer ~2hrs prior, nor two subsequent calls/voicemails specifically requesting a reply. · The employee I finally spoke to (on my 4th contact attempt, 5 days later) was snide, dismissive, and patronizing. He claimed he hadn't seen anything and disdainfully reminded me it was my fault for leaving things in the first place. When I informed him I left under duress while being harassed and threatened by another customer, he offered a half-assed fake apology of "sorry, but what do you want me to do about it?" I asked him to ask the owner (who is allegedly a woman, according to their "female-owned business" tag on Google) to call me directly as I did not appreciate the way he was handling the situation, he said he'd pass on the message.... But made no effort to confirm my name or phone number. I have yet to hear back. read more

I'm a first time customer. I just cleaned an extra large comforter in one of the extra large washers. The washer was far over priced at $10.75 a wash but the XL dryer was somewhat expensive at $1.25/30min. My comforter came out, smelling like mold and a stench I've never experienced. It had such a severe odor I had to just now throw it away. The ride home was far worse my car now smells disgusting, I'll have to disinfect my seats. I wanted to ask the attendant for a refund, but for some reason no one was working after my wash was completed. I would honestly really appreciate a refund. But in all honesty, I'm never coming here again. They clearly never clean their machines. read more

I am rating the laundromat one star to get the attention of the owner.I am a long time very satisfied customer. However, I witnessed one of the most blatant acts of racism this morning 2/3 at around 8:00 am while sitting waiting for my clothes to dry. One of your staff , a female, came on duty and came directly over over to a middle age gentleman sitting on a stool at counter and asked him rather rudely " if he was doing laundry " ? He took off his head phones and calmly answered yes and went back to his computer. She didn't ask a similar question to me . Two middle aged guys sitting looking at our computers , dressed similarly and one gets hassled one doesn't. The difference is am white and he is black ! To the owner, please address with your employee that this kind of racist attitude has no place in your business. read more

This is by far the NASTIEST laundry mat I've been too, due to my schedule I had to wash later than usual tonight and I can honest to god say I stopped my self from puking about 10 times, I drove 15 miles to this one just because I don't like the cleanliness of the ones in my area but man I made a mistake, the pictures tell it all these were taking before I forced my self to clean them I spent 30$ to wash and I'm most likely actually positive I'm going to wash my clothes again. Just disgusting read more
