They told me it will be ready the next day I needed it done the same day they expedited the process for me. The hat looks clean smells good almost brand new very reasonably priced. Also, one of the workers recommended a tailor for me. That's also next-door. That was also willing to meet my scheduling deadlines I am very happy with these guys. I came in right before they closed at about 5:45 pm and their register was broken so they were only taking cash (which I didn't have) and they were so kind enough to use the honor system with me and told me to just come back another day and pay which was SO SWEET and considerate, especially because I was in a huge time crunch and needed my clothes by that day since I was leaving town that night. Absolutely terrible. I have been a regular customer in Carlsbad and needed something pressed same day on a Saturday so I had to drive to Carmel Valley location. The manager (maybe the owner) decided the price would be $80 for a tablecloth and two runners to be pressed, not even cleaned. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I've been going to this place for over 20 years but I think it's time to find a new place after my most recent experience. I've always been very pleased with the service and quality of work... but when I went today, I experienced none of that. I had dropped off several brand new, white dress shirts. And when I say brand new, I mean right out of the package, never worn before. I've had shirts cleaned here and it's never an issue. Drop them off and them come back looking amazing. But not this time. When the lady brought out my shirts, the first think I noticed was a black spot on one of the sleeves. I thought it was probably something loose and tried to flick it off, but it didn't move. I asked the lady and she had to scratch it off with her nails. Really odd since these were brand new, never worn and straight out of the wrapper to this store. There didn't appear to be anything residual so I just let it go. But as I looked closer at my shirts, I realized they hadn't been pressed at all! They looked as though they had been washed, tumble dried and put on a hangar. There were all sorts of lines on the shirts when they should be flat and without any lines. I'm used top picking up shirts from this place and they are crisp and smooth like a brand new piece of paper. When I asked the lady why they look this way she told me it's because of the plastic wrapper that goes over the shirts. It's aggravating enough when there is something wrong with your order, but to be treated like an idiot is unexcusable!!! The plastic wrapper?!? They've been using the plastic wrapper almost since dry cleaning was invented and I've never seen a problem like this from a "plastic wrapper". I will say they offered to redo the shirts, but the soonest I could get them back would be four days from now which is unacceptable since I need them right now. They didn't charge me since I was unhappy which is nice I guess, but I would gladly pay to have my shirts pressed and clean the way they have been for the past 20 years I've been going to this place. And that she couldn't even see what was wrong with the shirt, all tells me it's time to move on and find another place. I've written before about this being the best cleaners I've ever used... and that was true... six years ago. But now, well, I'm not willing to drop my clothes off, wait five days only to find out the work wasn't done properly (or like it has been in the past) and then told I'll have to wait another four days to get it redone. I had taken a brand new dress still with the tags on it just to get pressed for an upcoming wedding I had the following week. I go to pick up the dress after just being pressed and it had BLACK STAINS all over the front of the dress. The dress looked completely ruined. They offered to dry clean it for me which I accepted. I go back to pick it up AGAIN and the black stains are STILL there. They offer to dry clean it for the second time!! I let them dry clean it one more time to when the stains did mostly come off the dress. I will not be returning and would not recommend taking any clothing items here. read more

Beware of them ruining your clothes and not taking responsibility. I have a cashmere sweater I've only had for a couple of months. I took it there to get it dry cleaned for the first time (hadn't even worn it that often) and when I put it on the next day noticed 4 small holes/tears in the fabric. I called them and was told to "Come in, Mr. Beasley is actually here today." which lead me to believe they were going to own up to the damage. Well, not the case at all! He proceeded to tell me it was bugs that did it. I said the holes weren't there before I brought it in and he claimed "the chemicals in the dry cleaning react with the saliva of the "bugs" and that creates the holes." I then proceeded to tell him I have a cedar closet so that's not likely and then he switched to "maybe it was moths" (which I know is NOT TRUE) and not likely as again, I have a cedar closet. When I said I would like him to replace the cost of the sweater he said he'd be happy to do so IF I could go to another dry cleaners and have THEM call HIM and say they don't believe it was a bug. What dry cleaner is going to call another business and claim to know what is wrong with a garment they have never seen before and didn't work on themselves. He knew I wouldn't be able to do that!! So, I am now left with a $148 Reformation Cashmere sweater I won't be able to wear any longer. If this was a reputable business, he would have owned up to his mistake, reimbursed me for the cost of a new sweater and I would have been writing a rave review as opposed to this. So again DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR CLOTHES!!!! read more

Not only is Beasley Cleaners close to my office, they have great hours, fast service, are friendly, and did a wonderful job with my clothes. They gave me a sheet of coupons on my first visit (you can find them online, too) and entering me into their computer system took all of 2 minutes, tops. I regrettably pulled the foil off a Greek yogurt behind the wheel -- parked at the post office after work -- and watched in horror as the foggy white, whey-like liquid inside sprayed all over my black, iron-free wool-blend slacks. With stains too foul for Dryel to conquer, I took it to Beasley Cleaners because of its convenient location in the Vons shopping center near home. The pants cost a bit more to clean ($5.95) than what I normally pay at other places, but it was worth it. Not only did they remove all the stains (except a tiny 2-mm spot that I didn't immediately notice until after I brought it home), but the pants looked VERY clean with NO FADING and ALMOST NO CHEMICAL SMELL. Also, they lightly pressed it, which I appreciated since in the past I've had cleaner iron a very severe crease into my pants that blanched the color a bit. Had a good first time experience here. Brought in three fairly dirty male dress shirts and asked for pricing. Normally shirts are about $5-6 per shirt. First time customers receive 30% off so I got a discount which lowered that steep cleaning price. I wouldn't come here again unless I am getting another first time customer discount. i brought a hoodie here not too long ago and when i went to pick it up it was around $8. great service, lady was very nice. i think she was blonde. went this time for a dress and a hoodie- ended up being $26 (10.50 for hoodie and 14.50 for dress) seemed odd and just asked her about pricing out of curiosity. this elderly asian woman with glasses was very rude and stern when i mentioned it was cheaper last time, saying "well if you came years go, yes." it was about a month ago. then when i put in my card, it wasnt declined, it just wouldn't read. said i have another but asked her if i could try again, she said "give me other." like oh ok? rude service. other than that this place is quick and provides a clean product if you're in a rush read more

And I got to tell you it's probably a pretty good service if someone takes the time to get on Yelp and positively review a dry cleaner! Here's the thing ....every time I go there the person helping me (they ALL do this) looks you straight in the eye and you get a sense that they're happy, grateful and helpful. This Dry cleaner has been awarded " The Best of San Diego Award for Dry cleaners" by the San Diego Reader for several years in a row. Folks...I have had some very bad experiences with incompetent dry cleaners over the years. I've had a dry cleaner who lost my clothes...then pretended they were never brought in...despite my claim ticket....I've had one that returned a shirt to me torn...one that scrubbed the finish off a blouse (apparently mistaking the finish of the material for a giant stain)....and plenty more. I love this dry cleaner. They deliver what they promise, are invariably courteous and are reliable with my clothes I've been a loyal customer of theirs for about five years now. Tip: They run significant savings coupons all the time in the Pennysaver, coupon delivery packets and elsewhere. Keep your eyes open for their coupons. Moved to the neighborhood recently and part of the difficulty that comes with moving is that you have to find new businesses that offer basic weekly services-new bank branch, new grocery store, new bagel place (GAWD Carmel Valley/Del Mar, does no one eat bagels in the 5 mile radius around my house? Guess not) and of course! A new drycleaner! I just pick up my first Beasley Cleaners order-A dress, a Blazer and a collared shirt that the boyfriend needed light starched-all were great, and they were able to get out a weird mark on his shirt. I found it slightly more expensive than my old dry cleaner, event with then 30% off for first time customers discount but the location is prime and nestled right were I want it so this will be the place I frrequent. Customer service was fine, nothing outstanding. Maybe they'll wow me with a magical spot remover method someday in the future and get that 5th star? read more

I'm not impressed with Beasley. I live around the corner from here, so this is my local neighborhood cleaners. Because of the proximity, I'll come here on a regular basis, maybe a couple times a month. For some reason I keep think the service will be getting better because of the good yelp reviews, but it never does. In my opinion, its not hard finding a good dry cleaner. This place has coupons, yes it does. And so does every other dry cleaner around the block. This place cleans your clothes decent, and so does every other dry cleaner, that's what you pay for. When you go in there, I feel like they are just robots taking orders. Instead of saying 'hi', they'll say 'phone number'. Instead of being happy to help, they'll act inconvenienced that you have a stain on your clothes or if you need it a couple days faster. If there was another place closer to me, I'd rather go there. Not sure what happened to the service here. I haven't been back in awhile but took a few of my hub and my shirt here recently. I asked the lady about the type of chemical they use for dry cleaning and she was very inpatient at responding. After I asked a follow up question, she said " you want to clean it or not?" Ok so I left the shirts and pants there. A week later I pick it up, the shirt armpit was still stained and the men shirts still have faint smell........ Oh and not surprising, my husband went to pick them up, came back and said wow, "the lady is not nice at all and really rude". I agree with fellow yelper, you never know how much you are paying because it's just one lump sum you pay and even when I ask her how much each shirt it. She said "oh $4, 5, or 6 dollars"... well which one is it? I also had a coupon which we have no idea if it was applied or not. Uncleaned shirt, rude service, shady business! read more

They had already locked the door and would not let me pick up my cleaning. I get it. We all have busy schedules but she could have taken the extra minute to allow me to pick up my cleaning - especially after traveling all week and I needed fresh clothes for work tomorrow. The people here are pretty nice!! It's still a little pricier than I prefer to pay but cheaper than the spot closer to my home. They don't dry clean at the facility but they send it out. The great news is that they have your clothes back in like 2 days. The place closer to my home takes about 4. Beasley's won my business just for that reason lol. Mainly because they gave good service but the 2 day turnaround sealed the deal. If you live in the area, be on the look out for the coupon book. They have coupons in there. Every little bit helps. If you need clothes hemmed, buttons added, or a seam corrected, they will have you go to the tailor a couple doors down. Pretty nice actually.
