The food was amazing. The staff was pleasant. That's had a sign posted that they were short staff which I thought would prevent issues if there was a delay. We had about a 10 min wait to get seated. Just had breakfast at this restaurant for the first time. It was recommended by some friends. It was delicious! Lots of food. Great rye bread. I had a Country Skillet with sausage gravy. The potatoes were nice and crispy in it. I didn't have one, but they had close to a dozen different Benedict's, which all sounded delicious! Next time. A small little place with fresh, excellent food. I read about this place and for a special treat on a day off hubby and I went here for breakfast yesterday. He had the chicken fried steak and I had the long key. Way too much food for me so next time I need to get a smaller something. His steak was perfectly cooked and not greasy. Neither was the bacon. Eggs tasted fresh and pancakes were huge and fluffy. Delicious! We saw other plates coming out and everything looked scrumptious. The eggs Benedict looked amazing. Next trip. Reasonably priced too. Stop here, do not pass go. Breakfast here for several years when I am in the area. Sometimes as a destination restaurant. Breakfast is as good as it gets. We stopped in as we were leaving town after a great week's vacation. This was a great way to bid adieu to Melbourne Beach. I had the Country Skillet - the country fried steak was tender and yummy, and the rest of the skillet was delicious, too! My husband had the corned beef and eggs, and really enjoyed it...our daughter enjoyed her avocado and egg whites (if you in to that healthy stuff - haha!)...our son said the waffle with fruit was good, too! Tried this place for breakfast on a Sunday. It was packed, but we only had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table. The menu was expansive despite being a pretty tiny place. I tried the avocado skillet which was very good. My dad ordered the 'Build Your Own' omelet, which he said was also very good. Fresh squeezed orange juice is like sunshine in a glass. Being a native Floridian, this makes me very happy. I look forward to going again and trying something lunch-y. read more

Super friendly staff, reasonably priced GOOD food. Everything that we had was quite tasty. My husband got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Nice gravy on top of the steak. I got pancakes, one egg and a side of hash. While the hash was undoctored canned hash; it was cooked perfectly with that nice layer of crunchy goodness on it.
