The host was wonderful and has a great knowledge of the surrounding area if you're looking for tips and areas to visit. The room itself was a small cottage that sits next to the house with it's own parking, private entrance, porch area, kitchenette, and bathroom. It was very cozy comfy and perfect for us! The BNB is also very centrally located to nice beaches, hiking, and walking distance to great dining. Furnishing were older but charming and everything you need is provided. Only downside I experienced was the shower water running a little cold halfway through the second shower. We did not have the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Overall, great place to stay!

Each day while we were away the room was freshened up. Coffee, instant ceral were provided in the room as well as cream for the coffee. Dishes and glassware were available to use. The room was well supplied with the things we needed. The steps and railings could use a bit of updating for safety and the stairs leading towards the beach area were in much need of repair, to the point that it was not a good idea to venture too far down that path as the lower steps dropped down further than the rest. The handrail at the very bottom was frail and really should not be allowed public access without being made much sturdier. When parking, it required you to back all the way out to the roadway. No viable place to turn around once you drove all the way in. Would we stay here again? Yes we would. I felt it was a good value for the price paid. You could literally hear and see the ocean right from the front room. It is a place that provides a lot of peace and quiet. Probably not the best for a young and noisy partying crowd. We had our own private room with an amazing view of rhe Pacific. Beach combing was fun a stray dog joined us and it was an amazing day. Its main fault is that it really needs updating, especially the bathroom. The floor also could have been more clean. But I was really glad to have wood - not carpet - floors. Bed was actually pretty decently comfortable, and the tv across from it is a great size. Many channels available, including Bravo lol. As others have noted, there is very friendly service. The guy who is at the front desk, and who also took my call for booking the place, is very friendly, nice, and helpful. I left check-in with so many pamphlets and suggestions from him! They also gave me complimentary late check-out when I asked in the morning. Also big plus: they are dog friendly!!

There was rust colored splotched all along the bottom of the wall, the window was paper thin. Some interesting stains on the throw pillows, stick substance on the table and the floor was sticky. The guests before me were kind enough to leave some ice cream in the freezer. All of the towels and bedding were damp and musty. The mattress and pillow were surprisingly very comfortable, but overall, I felt very unsafe during my stay.
