The GE range is a discontinued model that was probably installed when the house was built around nineteen years ago. So it's old but it suits the look of my kitchen. I didn't like the new ranges on the market so I decided to contact Henlopen Appliance hoping they could service the unit. The person I spoke with confirmed they service GE ranges. I called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for the following Tuesday. The technician, Trevor Vest showed up on time and once I explained the problems I was having with the range he got right to work. He tested all the burners then made the necessary adjustments to get the burners working properly. The whole experience from making the appointment to interacting with Trevor as he made the fixes was enjoyable. He even gave me advice about using our front-loading washing machine. There is no doubt in my mind who I will contact if I need help with an appliance.

Mind you, had to take off work 4 times because they couldn't come after 3pm when I get home. Now, my problem is unfixable they say because my fridge is too old and hard to get parts for. The solution to solve this was to waive my $333.00 bill that I was going to be charged. So, I took off work 4 days to have a technician do more damage to my fridge, but at least I didn't have to pay him to do it.

A bit of a issue in self checkout area...On 01/1/18, i stopped by the customer service deck to pick…read moreup a pre paid item that was ordered online...great service there..had to show a photo ID and sign for the item but that was expected....placed the item in the cart and went back into the store for more shopping....after that was completed i headed for the Self checkout area....while checking out the other items, a Home Depot employee assigned to the self checkout area, an older lady with a cane, approached me and asked me for the receipt for the item that i picked up at the customer service area...I was in a hurry so i got the receipt from my pocket and handed it to her...She walked away with it and i continued to check out the other items....Upon leaving the checkout area i headed towards the door....She was standing by the door and specifically waited for me to returned the customer service item receipt to me.. Why was this necessary?...I already went thru all the security issues at the customer service desk....I could have left the customer area and gone home or continue to shop....I shopped....I felt intimidated by this lady as she physically waited for me to leave before she returned my receipt to me....In the past, i have picked up items from the customer service area and walked thru the store , bought nothing and walked right out the door to my car...not one time did any employee question the item picked up at the customer desk that was laying in my cart as i left the building...this older lady employee needs to be retrained..OVERKILL on her part...

Horrible customer service!…read more I was expecting a repairman out last week to fix an AC unit I have in my rental unit and the company got busy so they rescheduled a few times. When the repairman did come out he said he fixed it said he put freon in it and when I returned it was no cooler than it was previously. It took almost 8 hrs to cool off a room the size of a living room, which is insane when he said he fixed it! After realizing that it wasn't getting cooler in the apt I took it upon myself to open the AC unit up and see what was going on inside and the filter was disgusting, there was no way air could get through it, and the air intake and door was just as filthy. I called the realtor and she sent him back the next day after I showed her the pictures I took. He came back and he said when he came in and out freon in the week before it was cold in the room, and I advised him that it was not, as well, if he did in fact out freon in the AC hint it wld have been blowing colder air, which it was not. I asked him if he looked at the filter and he advised that he did and he said that he didn't think they looked as if they needed cleaning because air could get through them. You can be the judge of that yourselves! And when I asked him why he wouldn't think to clean the filter even on a basic maintenance check and I attempted to show him the pictures I took, he turned an walked away and said he'd send someone else. I asked where he was going and he just walked away and said he'd send someone else. Needless to say his customer service skills were lacking! I would have given 0 stars but it wouldn't let me!
