We had an issue with our Bosch French refrigerator freezer severely frosting. Shaun the Shore technician was able to identify the issue immediately. The freezer door was not closing correctly letting warm air in. The metal racks needed replacing. Lisa at Shore appliance service dept kept us informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Shore appliances if you need repairs for Bosch refrigerators. There are not many repair folks that service Bosch appliances in this area. I have had wonderful experiences with Shore Appliance Connection. We used them in the past after a house fire, when all of our appliances needed replacing. More recently, my stepfather needed to replace his washer and dryer. He lives in a condo with limited space. They identified the units that would fit. The installers arrived 30 minutes early! Donna Henderson was my sales person and she was GREAT! I found her to be someone whom I could trust was looking out for my needs and budget. Lionel and Aiden were my delivery drivers for my new Frigidaire fridge. They were very careful with the fridge and my doors coming into my older home which has smaller door frames. They had to remove my front door to get in and they removed the fridge doors to get it inside. They leveled the fridge completely. They put everything, including my front door back together which out a scratch or ding to anything. They also were GREAT! I am so glad I used and supported a local business!!! read more

I give Shore Appliance Connection zero stars! (The review made me give them one.) They are not worthy of one. We ordered a washer/dryer stack unit and they said it would arrive in two weeks. We received it five months later. Their installers broke a closet door and dented our ceiling, not to mention had no idea what they were doing. The washer was rated quiet and when we first used it, it shook our entire building and came out of the closet. We called Shore Appliance to get help. We were transferred to voice mail when the person we needed to speak to was supposedly standing in the room. We called back and they hung up on us. We left a voice mail and they never returned our call. We got excellent help from another reliable installer who discovered that the packing brackets were not removed from the washer and it was not leveled. DO NOT USE SHORE APPLIANCE. EVER! read more

Very sad that a family business lacks the customer service skills to resolve an unfortunate situation. There are no perfect businesses, but how you handle the unfortunate situations says a lot about a business. I tried to support "local". I had a problem with my washer and Shore Appliance tried to charge me for a motor. I pointed out that it was under warranty but they should have known since I purchased it there. I ultimately had to pay the labor to come to my home to diagnose the problem. Once the motor came in I had to pay the labor again to come install the motor and a new belt. The real issue was that when the tech installed the motor and belt he left his pliers inside my washer. With the use of the washer, the belt eventually got caught with the pliers and completely ruined the new belt and put my washer out of service for two weeks. I called GE to fix my issue (not knowing it was pliers banging around the washer belt) since I did not want to have to pay labor a third time with Shore Appliance. The GE rep discover the pliers once the back was taken off the unit and I was home and saw it as well. I notified the owner of Shore Appliance and Ryan immediately placed blame with GE and that was completely unprofessional for him to react as such. I never heard back after that communication. I now had approx. $454.00 in labor charges and a belt charge to fix my motor and ultimately further damaging my washer. Never once did Shore Appliance offer to issue a credit for at least the trip to my home that further damaged my washer. Shore Appliance needs to further their customer service skills to perfect the service after the sale. Companies such as Shore Appliance most likely spend thousands to advertise to get "new" customers but yet they will lose a customer quickly by lacking sufficient customer service skills. It seems apparent that the dollar for the sale and service call is most important. So sad!!! read more

Shore Appliance saved our vacation! We showed up at our beach condo and the fridge was dead. All the food ruined, and our entire family showing up in 2 days. I went to Shore Appliance 8 am Monday morning, and I had a new fridge in the house by the end of the day. When they delivered our Cafe Refrigerator, the delivery technicians were outstanding. They took great care to make sure the delivery and installation was perfect. Liar Liar Pants on FIRE. I have a brand new kitchen aid dishwasher. Shore Appliance was dispatched to repair. After demanding proof of payment, and claiming they have a hard time getting paid for warranty work, we provided the original sales receipt. Even though Kitchen Aid sends them a work order showing our unit is under warranty. Then they claimed they couldn't find the replacement part needed. I had my washing machine delivered today, on time and very efficiently. The old one was removed and taken away. The delivery man hooked the new one up quickly and without any problems. Both men were courteous and polite. It's been a long time since I needed an appliance and I am very happy I shopped at Shore Appliance. Update: the wall oven was delivered and installed this week. Great oven (so far) and good installation. Initially I received the runaround from the GE Customer Service Center, and Shore Appliance was of no help, reference the delay of the delivery of the wall oven. I ended up emailing the CEO of GE Appliances in Louisville, KY, to complain of the lag time in receiving the oven (6 months after ordering). I received a telephone call from a GE Appliance rep about 2 hours after sending the email to the CEO. I asked for $600.00 and they offered me $350.00, which I accepted. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a dishwasher in November 2021 and was told that it was expected to arrive the middle of February. I called the salesman just before this time only to be told that it didn't arrive, but that I was "at the top of the list" and it was expected mid March. Again no further communication from the company and when the middle of March came and went I contacted them again. I was told in an email that it was due to arrive June 17. Surprise, surprise still no communication. I called and left a message at the store and received an email reply that the dishwasher was on backorder with no expected ship date. Apparently we no longer give customers a call? Well I called Manny's appliance back home in NH since we're going up to visit this weekend and, shocker, they just had a shipment of the exact dishwasher arrive last week. They will get it from the warehouse and I can pick it up when I'm up there. I guess Shore Appliance doesn't rate real well with the Bosch warehouse because they can't get the dishwasher after a seven month wait, but the other place has no problem. Of course the point I really want to make is the lack of customer communication above all else. Avoid Shore Appliance if you expect even a little communication. read more

This place was great. Liz was our sales person and she was awesome! We originally had ordered a fridge from Lowes and they cancelled the order on us without telling us! So annoyed with the "big box" stores, so started to look local and found this business. Liz was great and helped us find the same fridge for the exact same price as Lowes and actually the delivery/haul away and install charge total were $100 less than Lowes. They were super responsive and communicated great with us. The delivery was like perfection - on time - date/time slot and the guys were awesome too - Thomas and Remy - very efficient and great professionals. They even found a little glitch and called the repair people to set up an appointment. This great service and delivery and full end to end customer experience would NEVER happen with the Lowes or Home Depot. Future forward, I will definitely shop local for all my appliance needs and will definitely buy an appliance from this place again! read more

I made multiple calls to Bosch and Shore Appliances to make sure my repair was covered under warranty. Tired of playing "he said, she said" between the 2, I asked the warranty lady at Shore Appliances to just call Bosch directly to work out the details so we can get the repair done. She absolutely REFUSED to take 5 minutes to make a phone call to Bosch. She told me: "We have a lot of customers besides you and I don't have time to make phone calls." So I had to do her job and make yet another call to Bosch and have Bosch call the lady back, after which the issue was clarified in 2 minutes. Shore Appliances said they would call me within 24 hours to set up an appointment for the repair. That was 3 days ago. I'm still waiting. I can't recall when I've received worse customer service. When you call to have a repair done under warranty, the staff there act like they are going out of their way to do you a favor. Update: Just got a call from Shore Appliances. They had ordered and received the replacement part from Bosch. But because it took so long to resolve the warranty coverage (because they "didn't have time" to make a phone call to sort it out), they returned the part and now have to reorder it, and now it's now out of stock!! read more

They say they have to order a part and it will be several more days before I have a working fridge. No loaners available. We just purchased a range, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher from this store. Based on Consumer Reports and Ryan (our salesman) we went with a Bosch dishwasher. Other appliances are Whirlpool and so far very happy with those, but after running 3 cycles in dishwasher we were unhappy. I called and spoke with Ryan and while I didn't expect a free exchange, was hoping they would assist in replacement. Ryan said he would investigate options and call me. Thus far no call. In addition, all of the Whirlpool appliances had a rebate; however the on line process was very tricky and I got emails from Necorebates (the rebate administrator) three times saying serial numbers were incorrect...this after uploading photos! I emailed Ryan letting him know about the issue and asking if he had contacts at Whirlpool that he could pass the complaint on to. There was no response or acknowledgement from him...again, I didn't expect him to be able to do anything except let Whirlpool know their rebate process was lousy. A simple reply would have been nice. The area where we live has few options other than big box stores, but our sales experience here seemed very impersonal, especially once the sale was made. read more

We are on our third set of washer and dryer in five years from Shore Appliance Connection. However, the third set is a Sears Kenmore Elite - not from Shore Appliance Connection. Over the last five years, we have spent in excess of $6,000 on equipment and repairs purchased at Shore Appliance Connection, recommended by them. To our disappointment, not only did the washer/dryer sets not work properly from the very first day (washers leaked water/dryers didn't dry clothes), the service process took way to long, and the parts on order were backordered for over 5 weeks every time (we had to request many service calls each requiring two visits since they do not keep parts in stock). This week, when calling for service, we were told we would not even be put on the schedule until we paid an upfront diagnostic fee of over $150.00. We decided, since Shore Appliance Connection could not effectively diagnose and repair our first and second set of washers and dryers, it would not be in our best interest to pay them a fee to try again. When we asked why would we have to pay an upfront diagnostic charge for our repairs, the owner responded that he has had to write-off $80,000 in current customer receipts from customers who refused to pay them for services rendered. Hmmmmm. Maybe this should tell you something. We are not going back after throwing $6,000 in the dumpster. Good Luck, Shore Appliance. We won't be recommending you to anyone. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Called them for a repair in March of this year and they sent someone to service my dishwasher. The same part has gone up again 5 months later and when I called them this time, they said that they gave our original call to a third party and have no record as to whom they gave the call to so they will not honor any warranty for the part.
