I had the most horrible experience dealing with Shore Appliance Connection in Ocean View, DE. I bought 5 appliances for my kitchen. I had GE Profile and upgraded to GE Cafe. Shore Connection installed the appliances. Well, the cooktop did not fit properly. I was told by installer that Gary Black of G&R Custom would adjust a strip at bottom of wall oven so everything could fit. He told me I would have to pay Gary for the cost of adjusting the wooden strip by 1/2 inch. When all said and done, I paid $1,390 for installation. I was in shock when Gary said $540 for his part, plus he got $200 to install cooktop!!!! This is absolutely outrageous. BUYER BEWARE of this company because it cost me a lot more money than originally quoted. I will never use this company again!!! This is my opinion of the above referenced companies! read more

Sales process was great-did not try to over sell or push. communication/coordination of the delivery schedule was outstanding, with delivery day updates given frequently without having to call. Employee Mr Ryan started the test run and before he left we asked for manual but were told that he doesn't have it and we can look for it online. My washing machine went up and I stopped in to the Ocean View store. Liz helped me almost immediately. She was very knowledgeable on the various machines, their warranties and the functionality with regard to technology and agitator versus no agitator. She even did price comparisons from big box stores! I bought my machine from Shore because I love supporting smaller businesses and I really love personal service. I visited shore appliance & one other local appliance store near rehobeth beach in may/ june 2022. Decided to order our kitchen appliances with Shore. I worked with Ryan Horne the entire time. Since supply issues were still an issue, Ryan assured me they'd be in by the time our contractor was ready for them - and they were ! In response to your question, you only have 2 options s on your answering machine. 1 is for sales and 2 is for service. I called multiple times and left messages with the landline number, not my cell. There was no opportunity to connect with a live person. We told them what we are looking for, they looked them up, gave us all the details and excellent prices. They knew what was available, and what to recommend. Outstanding service! Liz efficiently ordered our Bosch dishwasher and she scheduled delivery and installation. The day prior to delivery we received delivery time. On day of delivery we received updates on location of the truck and time of delivery. Dishwasher was delivered and installed as scheduled. Definitely would recommend Shore Appliance. read more

Only reviewing for SA's sales service by phone. Liz has been patient and attentive while we've worked through my purchase of an entire kitchen package for our new build. She's been friendly, shows attention to detail and has good follow through. Will update review to include delivery experience in the spring. Contacted Shore Appliance to get a quick replacement for a washer for a rental unit. I thought it would be good to use a local company versus a HD or Lowe's. Spoke to Beth in sales who from the start seemed disinterested in helping me. Managed to work through that to buy a washer on Tuesday with a delivery date on Thursday. Happy about that. Was sent an email without the promised invoice attached. Not as happy. Called Beth on Thursday to confirm delivery but was told that the order was never scheduled for delivery and that the earliest date for delivery would be Monday. Now not happy due to losing rental dollars due to lack of washer in unit for additional days. Was told that delivery would be free based on the error and a receipt would be emailed to me. No email but did get a prompt credit card charge for the full amount. Delivery people showed up well before the promised window so renters had to come back early from beach. I'm glad others have had a good experience with Shore Appliance but they failed at every opportunity with me. read more
