The living area has a very, unabstructed view of the Straits and Van. Island. A sliding door opens to a deck with grill, table/chairs, lounge chairs and provided beautiful sunsets. Our room was elegant, peaceful with just the sound of the waves on the beach. We took pictures of an Eagle whom roosted nearby. Marsha was a wondeful host guiding us to restaurants, day trip locations, etc. Breakfast was fabulous, homemade and filling. I gave 5 stars as this place deserves it.

We needed a place to stay the night and found the the Sechelt Inlet B&B by doing a search on the internet. We were so impressed! Dick & Jean Billingsley were the most wonderful hosts. The room was absolutely perfect in every way. The view was breathtaking and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the Sechelt Inlet B&B...it is by far the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in. The waffles are to die for and the owners are very accommodating to your travel needs. We've arrived late at night and left very early and had no problems. I would recommend spending the extra money to book one of the front rooms as they both have sliding doors which open onto the porch where you can sit and eat your breakfast. It's literally right across the street from the ocean and very close to the pier and some shops.

The hosts, Will and Sylvie were extremely friendly and accomodating, knowledgeable about the area, and very hospitable. Furthermore, the B&B is just a short walk from the ocean and feels very private. My wife and I plan on staying here again in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

The hosts,…read moreSylvie and Will, go over and above all expectations to make you feel comfortable and at home in their luxury B&B. It seems that they are by nature open and receptive people, as we immediately felt welcomed. The location is a 3 min walk from the ocean. The Inn design and decor inspires calmness with it's clean lines surrounded by 5 story tall cedar trees. The Inn is built from cedar and that wonderful smell envelops you when you arrive; the windows are also framed in cedar- a very west coast look, the decor is Japanese Zen - including opaque 'rice paper-like' sliding doors between the kitchenette, the bedroom and the bathroom/spa rooms. I say bathroom/spa because it is like your own spa - but they do have an actual spa in the Inn with lots of great services-unfortunately we didn't make time to use them! The bathroom has double sinks, a steam bath shower- that's right, your own steam room in your bathroom!- and a tub for two or more with jet bubbles. The view from the bathtub, and the bed for that matter, is trees- just trees... you feel like you are in a tree house! There is a private patio for each room, ours had a glass roof, UV heater, bamboo water feature with pond plants, a love seat, chair and bistro table where we ate breakfast every morning. The breakfasts were filling and gourmet. The little touches such as a split basil leaf as a strawberry leaf on the berry garnish, allude to how much the hosts care about your experience. My gluten sensitivity was catered to without a hitch, nor did I feel like I was missing out because of it. We spend 3 nights there, could have spent a week. Although we were there in the summer- and the weather was perfect, I'd have no problem going there in the middle of winter as a retreat. I could have easily stayed in our room the whole three days- and that isn't just because I was on my honeymoon! ;-)

A decent bed and breakfast with good food, run by good people…read more This isn't the upper echelons of B&B's on the sunshine coast, but for those on a budget, it's a very good option. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is tasty, and the people running it are very nice. I have to give it 2 stars off for a few small but important things: lack of soap and shampoo in the shower, and the views from the rooms aren't really that great - you have to go to the common television area, or outside to really see why they call it "Eagle View".

The place feels like grandma's house: all the furniture and decorations are old and cute, the place is clean and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is yummy (expecially bluberry bran muffins made by Cecilia). They have an amazing deck with an ocean view that is only used by tenants. Awesome for reading, watching sunsets or just relaxing! The B&B is about 10 min walk from a rocky beach (water is good for swimming in July/August). The only downside is the fact that you are practically staying at someone's house (even though the hosts live on the second floor) and you might feel like you are lacking some privacy (expecially for romantic get-aways). Overall we had great time at this B&B, highly recommended!

(The sleeper sofa not so much but was ok for small kids. Ours are 3 and 8.) Lots of beach toys for the kids. The hosts made a delicious breakfast and brought it our suite so we could eat in our pj's. So much better than usual B&Bs that you need to get dressed for to eat breakfast. I may need to go back just to get the recipe of those apple pancakes. We stayed here for one night on a trip around the Sunshine Coast but could have easily spent a few nights here. If you need a place to stay in Sechelt and are looking for a quiet and cozy place, this is a great pick.

My son was sick this week so I inquired about the cancellation policy "IF WE DECIDED" that we couldn't go. They advised me of the policy and also mentioned that other couples were interested in the suite for the same weekend. My mom had agreed to babysit if my son was still sick by that time. After they told me the policy I emailed them back IMMEDIATELY and told them that I would be keeping my reservation and I would "See you on the third" They replied "Great see you on the third" Which I understood as an acknowledgement that everyone understood that we were keeping our reservation. An hour and a half later they emailed me to tell me my reservation was cancelled and my deposit refunded. I replied right away and asked "Why did you do that I thought we agreed that I was keeping my reservation? All I did was INQUIRED ABOUT THE POLICY" and they said "ITS ALREADY DONE" I sent two more emails that were never replied to. Sounds to me that one of they other parties that inquired about the date we reserved was more important to them. Did they book additional nights? Did they want the spa package? Whatever your reason for cancelling our two month old ANNIVERSARY reservation one week in advance is abhorrent. I have been to this bed and breakfast before, and even wrote positive reviews on it, which I now regret.

The view from the suites are breathtaking. The balcony of the Spa Suite has a180 degree view of beautiful ocean, with Vancouver Island in the distance. We saw whales, seals, eagles...... Brigitte and Roger were awesome hosts. Brigitte is a super RMT and Roger's breakfasts were delicious. We will be returning......
