I don't get that feeling with a lot of counselors, therefore, this is a huge thing for me to say. I'm gad that she moved her practice within the city. Very awesome at listening without judgement and very encouraging. She indulges me in my offbeat sense of humor which is appreciated. I feel good after her sessions with new goals and ideas that I worked out myself through openly talking and with her asking appropriate questions to get me thinking a little bit more outside the box so that I can creatively come to my own conclusions. I can't wait to see her again in March.

My partner and I took a couples massage workshop through White Silk Wellness, and it was a…read morerewarding and educational experience. When we arrived in the evening for our workshop, Susan quickly welcomed us in. Her immediate friendliness put us both at ease, and she was very receptive and positive as we discussed both of our needs and what we were looking to get out of the workshop. The workshop was over two hours, so we never felt rushed. Both my partner and I asked lots of questions, and Susan's answers were always informative and insightful. In general, Susan would first show us how to massage a body part, and then, she gave us an opportunity to practice the technique with her guidance, which I found to be very effective for our learning. Due to the length of the workshop, I also greatly appreciated that Susan provided water and snacks. I also want to note that I found the facilities to be very clean, and Susan was accommodating about changing the temperature of the room to improve our comfort. After the workshop, both my partner and I felt more connected. The workshop gave us space away from our busy lives to slowdown and show our appreciation for each other, giving us a chance to convey our love in a way that can often be lost in everyday life. Overall, I would say that this workshop at White Silk Wellness was a highlight of my trip, and we would love to come back to take the workshop again or try out some of Susan's other services. We highly recommend White Silk Wellness to anyone looking for an activity to do with their partner when visiting the Sunshine Coast.

I generally have a tough time expressing myself in conversation but I immediately felt heard and understood by Alycia. In just that short phone call, I felt more relaxed and confident about my decision to work with her. I came to Alycia with career goals in mind, but with the awareness that there were some deeper personal issues that were blocking my progress in this area. Alycia's style really fit with my personality. I'm trained as a Counselor and have used traditional counseling before but never with the success that I had working with Alycia. I liked that her method included pre-session homework assignments (journaling as well as lifestyle) that really helped me get to the root of what was keeping me from living an authentic life. This left my mind and heart much more open and prepared for Alycia's gentle & intuitive guidance into even deeper areas that I needed to explore. I don't know how I would have gotten through that moment in my life without her (probably still stuck in the same place). I was hopelessly blocked from my true self when we started working together. At the end of the 3 months I felt armed with all the tools to guide me to my next steps confidently. I'm writing this review today, a year and a half after finishing my work with Alycia, because I recently went back to all of the pre-work I filled out before our first session. I looked through my goals for my work with her and realized that everything I wanted for myself has happened. It doesn't look the way I imagined it would look at the time, but I'm exactly where I need to be and where I said I wanted to be. Amazing. I'm so grateful that I followed my gut and chose to work with Alycia. If you're reading my review and you got all the way to this paragraph, there's a reason. If you're ready to live a life that comes from your heart and feels good and "right," set up an appointment with Alycia and get started. I remember being so scared of spending so much money, but now I'm here on the other side saying: It's worth it. Investing in yourself is worth it.
