Also, I called…read morethe office about my bite being messed up because of the filling and they said that's normal. And my night guard, that they pushed me to buy, hurts my teeth, I can't even wear it because they're all sensitive now!! I never returned to Dr. Salim to address my filling breaking because of her impatience with my husband. She was HITTING his tooth asking if it hurts because he couldn't get numb! Husband needed more dental work done but he said we are never returning. And we didn't. Fast forward to now: we are having to pay another dentist to redo the work Dr Salim performed. I had to wait a couple of years to be able to pay for it AGAIN. So that's why I've just now updated my review. I go in this week actually to have the dental work fixed by a different office. I cannot in good conscience leave my shining review, don't go to Ora. The staff are all nice enough but Dr Salim is pushy and impatient. I realize that now after having been to another dental office and received much better service. Don't even consider coming here, unfortunate to say. Because you could end up like me, paying for dental work over again.

Finally I enjoy the comfy, relaxing chairs and having the option to watch Netflix while work is being done.

It wasn't until we arrived at the appointment this week that we were informed of an EXCESSIVE price increase in their membership fee from $300 annually to $400 annually for each (3) family member (no discount offered for multiple family members). The office staff informed us that the new plan price includes a 3rd office visit. Who goes to the dentist for a cleaning 3x a year? Every 6 months is sufficient. We cancelled this appointment and two other future appointments. Our family changed to another dentist in the area with a reasonable membership plan. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. All the paperwork is done on the apple iPad. The Dental Assistant had a calm spirit about herself and explained everything she was doing. She even complimented my Oral Hygiene. I don't mean to brag but, I worked really hard this year to keep the Cavities away and I did! Go meee! Lol! She said, YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR TEETH!. I was like Thank You! The X-rays are the best I've ever had! Lol. Who says that about an X-rays. I do. In the past they have been painful. They do digital X-rays versus the film X-ray which makes more comfy and easy to insert in the mouth. The Dentist was incredibly nice and personable. He is from Israel! Sorry forgot his name. He cleaned by teeth very quickly and efficiently. I feel like it, did not take long at all! Fluoride was included with the exam at no extra charge and I got a free pack of Floss threaders which I desperately needed! PTL! The invalid code (D9248) has been deleted from the American Dental Association (ADA) since December 2025. On the phone, the Treatment Manager repeatedly told me "it's the code we use at our office and it's a valid code and I will need to pay out of pocket for it and I should contact my insurance company if I have concerns about codes and billing. My insurance company let me know the code is invalid per the ADA. Additionally, the (D7953) is a rarely required procedure for wisdom tooth removal. In all, I am very leery of the integrity, honesty, and due diligence at Ballard Family Dentistry and I highly recommend all current and prospective clients to thoroughly review their insurance coverage prior to paying for dental work outside of routine cleanings at Ballard Family Dentistry.
