There was no compassion for the situation that I was in I will never ever go back to them or recommend them to anyone I did find another dentist which happily fixed my dentures for free and now I'm going to order uppers and lowers through them that's the people I give my business to shame on you Justin dental and braces.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Keller Parkway Dental when I needed prompt care for a…read moredental infection. Despite being in significant pain and clearly explaining my symptoms, the office refused to call in a prescription for antibiotics without first seeing me. Unfortunately, the earliest available appointment was several days away--after the weekend--which left me without necessary treatment during a critical time. In situations where infections can escalate quickly, I expect my dentist to take pain and potential health risks seriously. Instead, I felt dismissed and unsupported. To make matters worse, the staff member I spoke with was rude and dismissive, which added to an already stressful situation. Ultimately, I had to seek care elsewhere and was able to obtain treatment quickly and affordably. This experience has made me realize the importance of asking future dental providers how they handle urgent situations before becoming a patient. Had I known that it was even possible to be asked to wait several days while having an infection before even seeing them to get a prescription I would have never chosen this dentist in the first place. My next dentist that will be the first question out of my mouth how do you handle critical care? We had started coming in 2020 and were initially impressed with the thoroughness of the exam and kindness of the clinical staff. The dental hygienist was especially kind and helpful in explaining everything she was doing or recommending. That said, the end of the visit was off-putting. After the cleaning, x-rays, and exam, they ushered me into a room to discuss recommended treatments and payment. My husband was recommended veneers and other dental work to total over $11,000 after insurance. We declined most of what they recommended with the exception of the root canal. Looking back, we should have gone to an endodontist for his root canal, but Dr. Walia represented that she could complete it in the office. I drove my husband to the appointment, which ended up taking 4.5 hours after they initially told me 2. I took him home with a temporary crown, which fell off shortly after arriving home despite following the strict instructions to not introduce solids for a few hours. Upon going to a new dental practice, we were informed that the initial root canal was improperly done and needed further evaluation by an endodontist. Our last visit to this practice was in 2022 after we had an incident with billing and noticed the high turnover of staff at this location. In 2023, I received a bill from the practice despite not receiving care for almost one year. The bill was from 2021. I called the office who informed me that they had "forgotten" to submit to insurance and had attempted to file with the insurance carrier we had provided (United) in 2022. I informed them that the care I was being billed for occurred in 2021 and we had a different insurer at that time (Cigna), so United would likely deny the claim. The office staff attempted to tell me I'd need to still pay the bill or it would be sent to collections despite the care being performed 2 years prior and not going through the proper channels of filing with insurance. I had paid the coinsurance amounts due at the time of service and had receipts proving this information. They finally dropped the billing, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and frankly, felt fraudulent. We will not come back to this office due to the lack of organization and poorly done root canal. I strongly feel that we should have been referred to an endodontist for this procedure, but am concerned this was not done in order to generate more money for the practice. I would caution others from receiving care here.
