Office staff is a joke. Learn customer service. I tried to reschedule an appointment for a simple teeth cleaning and was told no by the rude office girl Asia. I show up for a 7am appointment and I am shown a cancellation form. Took me asking multiple times to receive any form of contact info for an "office manager". Also told me that me that my brothers insurance was accepted and after 8 months and 5 separate visits, received a surprise bill and told they do not accept his insurance. Told me some bs about how it took awhile to fax over insurance information from provider. Never received one call from the non existent office manager. Dr. Young is great but will not be retuning after multiple problems with his front desk staff who only know how to swipe cards and setup appointment. Rating: 4.5 Pros: I moved from LA where I trusted my dentist completely. When I came to Fort Worth, I almost got scammed at Dreamworks dental off of Tarrant and Beach. They said I had 6 cavities. I brush regularly so I didn't believe them at all. I came to EQ dental and they said I had zero! None whatsoever. It's hard finding a honest dentist when they're so many shitty ones. They keep it real here! Cons: the receptionist was rude over the telephone on two separate occasions on two separate days. I'm not sure she likes working there or perhaps she isn't friendly. Bummer my shirt got messed up in the process, but glad tooth pain in over. **** Dr. Young's office has some of the most thoughtful staff. Dr. Young and staff is extremely helpful. I had the worst tooth ache on Thanksgiving and the next day all places are usually closed but lucky EQ was open. I went in and after dental assistant took me through xray, I was told to have wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Young was available immediately. The cost didn't break my bank and the process was thoroughly explained. I felt to be in good hands, the Doc didn't waste time in telling me my other problems and fixtures like some dentists do. WOW JUST WOW! I had been searching for a dentist in the area and I'm so glad I found EQ Dental! I had started getting a toothache on Sunday evening and Monday morning called my insurance who long story short helped me find EQ. From the very first phone call with Asia to sitting in the chair for my root canal to having a crown MADE in the office to leaving, it was amazing. Everyone was so nice and friendly the dental assistant who helped D.R Young with my procedure was super sweet too! While waiting for my crown to be made I got some xrays done and found I need another root canal and some cavities filled. The previous dentist I had gone too said I needed to get teeth pulled not filled I'm so glad I found EQ Dental and had them give me an honest second opinion! Did I mention how nice everyone is???? Great experience. First, I went to another dentist for a cleaning and exam and was surprised to find that when I made the appointment I was misled that they were indeed not in network so the quote to fill a cavity and put a crown on a chipped tooth was much more money than at EQ Dental. Also, at EQ Dental they make the crowns in-house so there is no need for temporary molds, coming back in for second appointments, the crown not fitting right. It's done there by the people putting it in. The staff, well, from the time I walked in the door to sitting down and going over benefits were absolutely amazing. Lovely people to deal with. I moved here and looking for a dentist. i needed a simple cleaning. Called 3 offices and even scheduled an appointment with another Dentist office. When I asked the other office what my insurance covered and giving them my info he had no clue. However, I still booked it because I just needed a cleaning and knew these were covered but wanted to be sure. Long story short the other office was super disorganized. Luckily, I got a hold of Asya at EQ dental and she was on it from the get go. I had to give my Info again but she had an answer immediately. And Mendy Kay aka MK cleaned my tooth and she was a hoot! Very professional office and took their time on the cleaning itself. I've had new dentist's that do a cleaning in 5-10 min. They took 30-40 and did an amazing job. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable in their field. I hate going to the dentist, but they make me feel very comfortable at each and every visit. Upon first meeting, you can already tell how passionate and dedicated Dr. Young is towards his work and patients. Dr. Young spent 5 hours just to design my crowns (my bite is tricky and far from perfect) and the outcome is truly a work of art. He even purchased extra equipments so that my crowns are done the same day! That just shows how much he cares. I don't trust anyone but Dr. Young when it comes to dental care. Went there around last thanksgiving. Everything seems ok at first but when Dr. young came and I can tell he was in a bad mood. He throw his cleaning tools really hard on my chest like my chest is his tool tray (I was shocked) I can tell his assistant notice it too and he cut my front gum because he was in a hurry. He was very rough and do everything really fast. I don't think he cared. I only went there once it was my first time there and they txted me for the appointment this year but I will never go back. Front desk girl lied to me about the promotion even though I asked two times about what I will be getting. Until I pay she acted like I never asked the question. Obviously wasn't paying attention. Other people were nice so I gave two stars not one. Till this day still made me feel bad about how Dr. young treated me. So, it is Sunday 2/23/14 and my oldest son and I are at the movies. I am eating some popcorn when it felt like I bit into a rock. I feel a crack and as my tongue feels around, it detects a space where a tooth used to be. The darn molar broke right off from the filling. I think, it's going to be a painful night, I'll have to take off work, etc. I had noticed a dental office near my house, so I looked them up and long story short, they agreed to see me at 7 PM on a Sunday night! I believe this office has improved from when it first opened. I used to have scheduling conflicts with their availability and it has gotten better. The hygienist is very nice and does her work well, we have very pleasant conversations. Dr. Young is a good dentist and will take care of any problems you may have. I had some extra glue on one of my molars from when I had braces from another orthodontist and he shaved it off so now it's smooth. Would recommend. read more

Bad experience! I have been there for a couple of times. Firstly, They did deep cleaning without notifying me. But they ended up charging me from my own pocket. I refused to pay. The owner the dentist was supposed to call me to discuss about the charges but he didn't. Secondly, I was yelled by the hygienist. She made wait while she was talking to front office. Originally I went in for a routine cleaning/check-up but found out my gums were pretty bad off. Luckily they were able to clean my gums that day during my appointment -- which is a plus. Office staff was nice and helpful. Moreover the place is spotless. Dr. Young explains everything clearly upfront and is very conscientious. Last year I had to get my entire mouth done along with getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I have been going to Dr. Young for about a year now for my all dentistry needs including my Invisalign. His staff are super friendly and they always make me feel welcome.
