Great cookies and desserts, but even better service. Simon is awesome. Cupcakes are definitely recommended. read more

Beach Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - Westhampton Beach, New York

I don't understand how this isn't rated higher. We live on the west coast and get the bakery goods several times a year. Have not eaten in the restaurant part, but if you want baked goods this place is as good or better than anywhere we've ever been. The chocolate covered macaroons and the fried jelly croissants are the best I've every had. Drove an hour each way today to ear here. read more

The restaurant was basically empty when we, six people entered. Orders was wrong or forgotten. Attitude by waitress was terrible.

The food is amazing! That being said... The service is horrible. Everybody moves in reverse. There are never enough people working. Every time I have gone i have waited at least 20 minutes or more with only 1 or no people ahead of me. read more

Everything looks delicious in the glass case display, too bad it does not taste nearly as good as it looks. Overpriced and overrated, underwhelming at best.I keep going back to be surprised that I will have a pastry, a cookie, or a piece of pie and actually love it. Has not happened yet. read more

Came here for lunch before heading to the beach. The place it self is nice, and the staff is friendly. A good selection of foods, but a little pricey. Food was decent read more

Every time I come to the hamptons, I HAVE to stop at beach bakery. They always have the freshest bake goods such as chocolate filled croissant, rainbow cookies, macaroons, coconut truffles, you name it. They also have a cake section. They also have amazing gelato, so many different flavors, and not to forget, they also serve sandwiches and paninis! read more

Great customer service today from Kerry when ordering a key lime pie personalized for my son's birthday for delivery. Thank you!

In the summer it seems like they never close. The desserts are always fresh and delicious. The cafe is always hopping, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, even late night snacks available all the time. This is the place to go, anytime of the day for quick service. read more

Southern pecan coffee and a linzer tart is my dream every ay. You can't go wrong here...the coffee is always golden brown, fresh and the pastries are even better then they look. Friendly staff, free wifi, and excellent location make this one of my favorite bakeries! Thankful this quaint bakery represents! read more

They didn't even know what a German chocolate cake was and offered me a variation of their chocolate cake after I had to explain what was in a German chocolate cake. The "variation" would be around $30+. Ended up getting a good German chocolate cake from Stop & Shop for $ read more

We are at the Beach Bakery quite often. While we will miss Simon, we are very happy for him and we were pleased to of met the new owner. Also we are happy to see still there, all the same talented bakers, cooks and key personal. Food and bakery goods are amazing as always. When I met the new owner Rashid, I felt I have known him for years already. Pleasant, ambitious, smart and really cares about carrying on the amazing reputation of this amazing place that the previous owner Simon built. read more

chocolate covered strawberries, raspberry jelly croissant, and creme puffs helped pre-empt my saturday night hangover. nice band played outside on saturday night as we devoured our desserts. the base player was cute but i think he may have still been in high school. risk: this dessert will make you bootylicious reward: i am ready for this jelly read more

Tonite we had the hardest as rocks cupcakes with absolutely no taste. What a shame, it used to be good. I will always go to Nettie's in East Moriches now. This bakery is now so commercial and tourist driven. Quality is not at all a priority... read more

LOVE beach bakery. The freshest, most awesome Dutch baked goods I've found outside of Holland. Simon, the owner, opened up in the late 80's (I remember his opening day!). His approach is to train up-and-coming young bakers from Holland at the Bakery. Over the years his business has exploded because of its quality, reliability and service. Their hours are awesome too - usually open most holidays. I highly recommend. read more

I spent under a dollar here and had a macaroon that was perfectly textured and dipped in rich chocolate. exactly what I love. As well, I had some sort of praline that, while a bit waxy, had the toffee complexity I love. read more

Delicious bakery with the most decadent Linza tarts and huge yummy Boston cream filled croissants. Don't miss their coconut macaroons. This is the place to visit in Westhampton Beach! read more

Awesome product, iffy clientele during 'the season' (Open late in the summer).

I ordered Challah bread Saturday for 9am Sunday morning. When I arrived Sunday morning I was told they don't have my order because they only bake challah bread on Friday's. I asked why then did you take my order. The young lady that took my order was embarrassed and her supervisor's attitude was " too bad, what do you want me to do"". They could have at least called, my number was taken when I placed the order. Thank goodness for Stop n Shop. My guests did not go without their challah bread French toast. Not going back to the Beach Bakery any time soon. read more

There is no better bakery on the East End than Simon's Beach Bakery. The jelly croissants, the chocolate mousse cups, the fruit tarts.....and the cakes!!! Everything is simply perfection. He has almond milk for your coffee, an extensive selection of teas and the staff are fantastic. Oh, and the pumpernickel bread, and the red velvet cupcakes... this place is a dream. And if you are fortunate enough to catch Simon on a day when he isn't too busy he is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. He has shared many helpful tip with my curious children. read more

You must come here and eat a sugar covered jelly filled croissant. You must. Minus 1 star because in the middle of the day there were quite a few empty shelves. That just doesn't look good. The black and whites are good. As are the rainbow cookies. But dont worry about that other stuff. Get the jelly croissant. read more

I've been coming here for 25 years and it never gets old. Everything is amazing. The new owner is so kind and really great at what he does. The staff is exactly the same as it was prior to changing owners. The food is just as fabulous as it's always been. It does not feel like anything has changed! read more

This place is the greatest bakery I have ever been to. The counter staff is so nice and the pastries are out of this world. I love the atmosphere all the people are nice there they have clean bathrooms and tons of board games at the tables which is absolutely perfect if you want lunch and a game of chess. My favorite thing is either the raspberry croissants or the cinnamon rolls. They are both some of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Always fresh like they just came out of the oven. I love this place so much and I come here nearly every morning. Overall this place is so great and I recommend it to all people. Mothers fathers teens men women babies even grandparents. If you haven't been here get off your phone and RUN to this bakery. read more

My family has been eating at the bakery for almost 20 years. We hired the bakery to cater my father's 80th birthday party this past Sunday at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. We had about 85 guests, so we were worried if the Bakery, under new ownership, could handle the job. Rashid and his team did not disappoint. The food was plentiful, tasty, and fresh. We did not run out of anything. As trays of fish and pasta would empty, they'd restock with a new hot tray immediately. I highly recommend them as caterers. read more

2 stars is being generous. The bakery has great pastries and always (taste) fresh. I always enjoy a cup of coffee and a blueberry cheese danish. However after eating breakfast to stay for the first time I was extremely disappointed. My pancakes were cold and stale and tasted as if they were warmed up in the microwave. For $14 I expected more than the one triangle price of melon and cube of watermelon on the side. The frittata was not fresh and the bread was also stale. I understand accidents happen and I would understand if one of our meals was not to our liking, but all 3 of my friends meals were extremely tasteless, stale, and not fresh. To top it off, the inside where you pick up your food had a foul odor. I hate to write a bad review but I would like to prevent this from happening to others in the future. read more

Hit this bakery before driving home after a great beach day. Delicious raspberry croissants and black & white cookies!

This bakery is the greatest !!!! FRESH pastries all day long and great coffee !!! Waitstaff is very pleasant and go above and beyond. In the summer time they have live bands and beer !!!! Can't get any better than that !!! PASTRIES & BEER BABY !!!! WHOO HOOOOO !!! read more

Best bakery in the area. Coffee and desert and local music are sometime fun in Westhampton

The BB needs to create an organized ordering system!! It's so chaotic! The "LINE" actually forms at the coffee bar, NOT at the entrance, but you cannot ***know this*** unless a patron informs you of the fact, because you have cut in front of them, OR when the clerk asks "Can I help the next person", a half-dozen patrons from all areas of the store simultaneously pipe up "I'm Next" !! That being said, the pastries are mostly very fresh, except in the summer months. The bakery does huge volume in the summer...seems some items are prepared ahead and frozen, i.e. the croissants and eclair shells. The fillings are a bit skimpier during the season as well. Coffee is good. Please add a non-dairy choice of creamer aside from soy milk. read more

Delicious homemade baked goods and fabulous coffee! The staff is very customer-service focused. Kudos to the new owner Rashid for maintaining high standards and offering a fabulous Kosher eatery! Rashid was kind enough to welcome us and through our chat it was evident that his heart and soul is immersed in providing a stellar customer experience. read more

service was terrible. ordered a grilled cheese and it was absolutely the world's worst grilled cheese I have ever ate.

Theres a little blonde kid named Jackson who is a frequent visitor. He buys all of the Black and White cookies in the store, sits in the corner, and growls at customers. Besides that, excellent food. read more

My friend and I got tuna melts and they were really bad and had no flavor. The workers didn't really know what they were doing and didn't give us fries or pickles anything it came with. We had to ask for each thing. The coffee was pretty good and my friend got ice cream and liked it but the food was really not good at all YUCK read more

Perfect is an understatement! The only thing better than the food, is the service!! Everything was awesome. I definitely suggest Beach Bakery! read more

Had to check it out while I was in town to check out a concert. The eclairs and cream puffs are the best. Not a big fan of the brownies. Everything looks sooo yummy. read more

I thought I found a gem here. Looks great, nice setup but below average. Not too organized with the service either.

Beach Bakery is always my first stop when I come into town. Not only are all the baked goods equally wonderful but they truly have the BEST ice coffee anywhere. Maybe a little of it is it is good coffee after a long drive, but Simon's coffee with any of the wonderful pastries is a little bit of heaven and a great way to start my week. I'm on my way. read more

This is a great bakery. Always stop by here for some deserts to take home when in Westhampton Beach.

A fine stop after our seal beach walk, the pastries were good, but coffee and hot chocolate were meh. The cafe is large and has indoor and outdoor seating, a small fire place and a variety of magazines to peruse. There is a luncheonette within as well as a nice cake display that did look delicious! read more
