BCD Tofu House on Sepulveda never disappoints. Every time my spouse and I come here, the food is consistently authentic and delicious. The servers are always friendly, attentive, and happy to refill the banchan whenever we ask. Their warm smiles and excellent service make every visit even more enjoyable. I always recommend BCD to my family and friends. When my friend visited from the Philippines, I brought them to BCD in Manhattan, New York, and they loved it so much that we ate there two days in a row. We've also taken friends from San Diego to the Wilshire location, and they loved it as well. Even after visiting several BCD locations, the Sepulveda restaurant remains our favorite. It has become a special place for my spouse and me, and we always look forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Korean food and outstanding customer service! Thank you! 감사합니다! (Gamsahamnida!)

I've ordered takeout from BCD countless times but this was my first sit-down experience and it was simply fantastic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At first I was intimidated as a non-Korean (given so many native speaking customers, and Korean language exchange bellowing through the restaurant) as well as the wait, but everything went so smoothly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wait for our group of 6 was about 15 minutes which I was surprised given the size of the establishment, and after we were seated things went so smoothly. The manager (?), tall Korean guy seemed efficient, friendly and cared about all customers. Our waitress lady was so sweet. Talk about comfort food; it definitely hits different when you're eating this hot out the kitchen, fresh. My go-to combo is C2: galbi + soon tofu and it was just SO tasty. With the tasty banchan, prepare to leave full and satisfied. I'm still thinking about it.

Enjoyed a dinner with family on a Saturday evening and we joined the waitlist. We waited no more than 5-10 mins. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was small, but seated many. It was quite loud, but that's pretty normal for BCD.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was amazing and my waitress was friendly and super helpful. Sunny always checked in and provided extra banchan. I love their banchan and I find their food pretty standard across BCDs. We ordered the galbi and two mild tofu soups. Across of this, we were totally stuffed. The only thing I wished for was updating my soup to medium because the broth was really light. Everything else was delicious! Will definitely come back and support. Shoutout to Sunny for her service!

I used to come to BCD Tofu House all the time, and after not going for a while, I decided to drop in for lunch. I ordered the combo with beef bulgogi and spicy pork. Both were really good, and they definitely give you a good portion size. A big highlight here is that the side dishes are always consistent--I love that they still give you the fried fish with your meal. Service was just okay during this visit. The restaurant was very busy, so I had some trouble flagging down a waiter when I wanted a water refill. Even with the slower service during the lunch rush, the food is as reliable and delicious as I remember. It's still a solid spot for a good, filling meal.

Absolutely love BCD tofu house and this location is no exception. Took my first ed her for her first time trying Korean food outside of KBBQ and she absolutely loves it. The food and service is perfect! The staff is very friendly and attentive! 10 out of 10 experience would definitely come again

Really solid authentic Korean restaurant. The staff all speak fluent Korean and the boss is always around helping and managing the place. Really convenient big free parking lot too. The food is about $25 per person, love the bulgogi with tofu soup. Don't get the seafood pancake. Not worth the $16, and not very good. Too oily but was crispy. Couldn't see or taste the seafood.

We like this location more than other ones. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their side dishes taste better & I like there are windows all around, letting the sunlight in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got seafood soon-tofu & 곱창 (intestine) soon-tofu. We asked for the seafood pancake without the green onions and they said they will accommodate the request "this time" as the kitchen wasn't too busy yet. (We went around 4 pm so right before the dinner crowd. We enjoyed everything we ordered & the side dishes. We couldn't finish everything so brought the leftovers home. They even packed the seasoned soy sauce for the seafood pancake for us when we asked for to-go boxes. The staff were friendly & attentive. Next time we crave soon-tofu, we will go back to this location.

I absolutely love this place. Their food is so delicious. Sunny our server is so kind and nice. She's also very attentive. The Galbi Combo is so worth it. Everything taste fresh and their kimchi is good quality. I highly recommend. I give this place a 10 out of 10 forsure. Oh yea, also their restroom is clean. That's a plus!

It's been years since we ate at BCD Tofu House in Torrance. I saw a yelp review and was craving something tasty for lunch. We recognized the restaurant after driving into their parking lot. We were seated quickly but it took a while for anyone to take our order. We ordered the spicy pork and kalbi combos off their lunch menu, which is good until 3 pm. With lunch, we had a choice of their tofu soups. I went with the dumpling soup and my husband ordered the one with beef. It was sizzling when brought to our table. We each also got a hot stone pot of rice. The portions were generous for lunch and we took the rest home for dinner. My husband enjoyed his spicy pork and I liked the kalbi. They were pretty busy on a weekday, but we were served pretty quickly once our orders were taken. I'll be back!

The panko crumbs on the chicken was nice and light. It was perfectly fried and not too hard/over crispy. The meat was also juicy. My toddler ate 3 large pieces of it and kept complimenting how tasty it was. The kim chi fried rice had a great fried egg in it and had great flavor. Even the side of rice was delicious! It was moist and sticky without being overcooked. The bad: I didn't get to experience the food court dining in the grocery store. The interesting: The dishes came with a side salad with orange dressing, pickled yellow radish, and some citrus wedges. The dishes came with 3 pickled side dishes (including kim chi). and a soup.

Probably because it's Korean, in a Korean supermarket, where the competitors that folded shop were not always. Other stands also had a freshness issue - not much turnover as most visitors want Korean. Each time I shop at HMart, I see big soup bowls from Hansol. And I think, as a giant soup lover, I need to get me some. It always looks so good. Unfortunately, it does not taste as good as it looks. For example, the 2 rib special looks fantastic but the meat is tough to eat. The noodles are flat, need some flare. The rice bowls lack flavor. I see all these glowing reviews and know I'm swimming against the tide. Probably sacrilege for me to say that the Hmart prepared food tastes better than this restaurant... but I find this to be the case. The prices - not great. You pay for the convenience of being in a market. Counterintuitive as the ambience is what what you'd expect to pay for.

Korean-style gopchang is known for its thorough cleaning and careful preparation, and I truly felt a sense of safety and quality here. That attention to detail makes a big difference. As for the food, you have to try the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of four types: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potatoes, onions, garlic and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is just right. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better. It's within a plaza, so there is plenty of parking around the restaurant. I definitely want to come back for the intestines and the service. A++!
