    Seafood Flat Noodle

Huge portions! Came here Friday evening for dinner and ordered two noodle dishes and Seafood pancake as an appetizer. The pancake was thicker than I've had in the past, but still delicious. Seafood flat noodle was tasty and came with generous helping of crab. Owner was the server and very attentive. A little pricey but have lots of leftovers.

I can only speak for the dish i ordered, and was not impressed at all!!! I had the spicy beef noodle soup. It came in a large bowl, but there was barely any beef; it wasn't spicy, and the broth tasted watered down similar to the ramen soup you'd make at home when you use too much water. Perhaps the other options are better...Service was friendly.

I cant even count how many times I have been here this summer. This is where you can find classic, korean, homey food. Not many side dishes, but the food always tastes great. Just look at the pork neck tower for that soup! Can you believe that's one serving? The non spicy rice cakes is not that common of a menu option for a lot of korean restaurants, but it definitely is delicious. The pork bulgogi and cold noodle combo is never a miss and so yummy. There are definitely better places for the blood sausage, and I have mixed feelings about the taste of the new paik beer. But this place makes me feel like I'm back in Korea and my grandmas house and I love it! It definitely gets busy during peak lunch hours at times, so be patient with the waitresses! They are so kind and lovely.

I went with a spicy beef noodle soup and it did not disappoint! Talk about homemade quality and good ingredients! Total hole in the wall joint, but full of authenticity. I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere, to the service and especially the food. This is by far the best beef noodle soup I have ever had the pleasure of having. I rate the Old Time Noodle House a solid five stars!

Hidden gem for authentic Korean gamjatang aka spicy pork bone stew. My good friend recommended the restaurant, and once I walked in and saw the random checkered table covers that you see at traditional Italian restaurants, I knew the food was going to be good. They are known for the gamjatang, which comes out as a mountain of meat and vegetables. The servers are nice and attentive. The gamjatang does not lack with the protein portions, and the banchan such as the kimchi cool off the stew. The soup and dumplings were delicious! You come here for the authentic food, not the ambiance. Not to say the vibes are not on point, just an older restaurant as implied in the name, serving quality Korean comfort food. We left happy and full, and I will continue to enjoy traditional Korean dishes here!

Pretty good kimchi, has a little kick

This is a great spot for noodles, went there on a whim at lunch time and it wasn't that packed which was great for me. Gives me the hidden gem vibes. No AC but they had a lot of fans going to keep it cool. The parking lot is a bit small so trying to take advantage of its hidden gem before it gets hard to find parking. I like the kimchi, decently spicy which I love. I probably wouldn't get the blood sausage again since it was pretty pricy (although they give you a lot). Prices are reasonable, portions are massive. I went by myself to scope it out before telling friends and I had to get a Togo box because it was just way too much food. Will definitely go again for the kalguksu, saw another table eating that.

We had the 1/2 Kimchee dumplings and half pork dumplings, the 2 Color Dough Flake Soup and the Old Time Noodle. The dumplings and the dipping sauce was delicious! The Dough Flake soup was served in a pot and the soup was very tasty, but after awhile the dough became quite filling and it became a bit overwhelming. The noodle dish was good, but the soup was not quite as tasty as the Dough Flake Soup. Next time I would like to try the lunch boxes. Parking is located in the back of the restaurant.

    Blow your mind.

Summer Menu Item: Spicy Buckwheat Noodles. So fresh, not so spicy. Delight in your mouth!!! My new favorite.

Went there again last night with friend. It was little crowded but we able to sit down. We went for dinner and they served food quick. Waitress and the boss were very friendly. Always smile and polite. We like the whole environment. Food was really good. We order the small pork bone soup and we finished it them! Very delicious..

I genuinely think their sullungtang is the best I've had! I was really happy that this time, they had purple rice. The past few times, they only had white rice, so this was such a great change! Not sure why they were out of the purple rice for so long, but glad that it's back! Banchans are great with unlimited refills! Parking: This place is located in a plaza, so there are a lot of parking spots available right out front which makes it convenient. It also seemed to include some new items, or at least ones that weren't printed out on the placemats. We've previously tried their cold noodles, galbi, hot stone bimbimbap, tofu soup and seafood pancake. All are pretty good but the cold noodle is our favorite. This time we ordered their fishcake kimbap and the cold noodle and galbi combo. I previously saw photos of their kimbap but didn't see it on their menu until now so I was excited to try it. It comes with 20-24 pieces and a side of soup, quite a lot actually for one person. The kimbap was as expected, it was flavorful, had a slight crunch (from the pickled radish) and didn't fall apart easily while eating. It comes with a dipping sauce but it wasn't particularly noteworthy and I didn't feel it is required to use. The cold noodles were a bit different this time but overall had the same flavor. It comes with half an egg, pickled vegetables, slices of cucumber, and slices of meat in an icy broth with buckwheat noodles. Be sure to add the mustard and vinegar for added flavor. The side of galbi was as expected, but doesn't arrive sizzling like at many other Korean restaurants. The flavor can vary, sometimes more flavorful than other times but overall it still pairs well with the cold noodle. Service can be a bit spotty, especially when they only have one server doing everything. It can be hard to flag someone down so be prepared to sit around for a while if they have less staff and many customers. Overall not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of.

I thought the bossam combo was definitely worth the money for the pricing and amount of food. Bossam - 100/5, WOW the meat is so tender and flavorful! The cuts are meaty and the sides to eat the boiled pork belly with are incredible. Amazing ssamjang and I loved the salted Napa wrap with raw garlic, jalapeño, and kimchi radish. Don't miss out on the saeu-jeot (fermented shrimp) sauce for a salty and umami packed bite! Tofu soup - 4/5, the fatty pork pieces and zucchini make this such a filling and sweet soup. I really enjoyed the tenderness of the meat pieces. Doenjang - 3/5, tasty but a little too funky for my personal tastes. Bibimbap & veg - 4/5, I didn't realize this was a no rice option and has a shredded cabbage substitute. Still delicious, but wish there were more sesame oil. I ended up mixing in one of the rice servings we got and it was perfect!

I don't particularly understand why this is a summer dish other than it being cold. Very rich, very thick. Definitely not something you want to eat yourself. I believe you get salt on the side if you want it saltier. Get the bossam. It was so good, and the portion was huge. Meat was tender. The kimchi was super fresh. Braised fish was great. I don't remember which fish I got, but the flavor was perfect. Not too spicy and very clean. Don't skip out on this restaurant or the Korean restaurants in Gardena in general.

We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!
