I have been here multiple times and it was always a wonderful experience. I recently went here on 10-12 @ ~1PM for a date and it was downright embarrassing. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Toilets filled to the brim with human waste, Toilet paper all over the floors, the floors were also somehow wet? (This is a slipping hazard) This was just nasty. Aside from the disgusting bathrooms, I recieved the worst service I ever have in my entire life. It was so bad, it genuinely felt like my table was being specifically targeted and ignored. We didn't order anything unusual or anything that would take extra time to make, but tables who arrived 30 minutes after us were receiving their food and it was the same exact dishes we had ordered. Dude It was so f**king bad. I don't take to yelp to ever leave reviews unless they are outstandingly good or unusually bad. This was so bad i can't help but talk about it. It was really bad. I can't explain how bad this experience was. I almost threw up in the bathroom. We waited so long for out entree that we ended up canceling the order and leaving. This only happened after we had waited 20 to 30 minutes with empty glasses before I had to approach someone in the kitchen for a refill on our sweet tea because there was nobody behind the bar or on the floor. (Mind you, tables who showed up after us were receiving our same Dishes) We then waited a further 10-15 minutes before asking for our check and leaving the restaurant. This was made more embarrassing by the fact that I strongly suggested this restaurant to my date against her better judgement. All of the other waitresses were attentive and wonderful. Our waitress was clearly and openly seeing every table but ours with a questionable agenda. It felt so wrong that it gave me the inclination that she just had some personal issue with us. This felt especislly foul because I worked as a buss boy in the past and typically tip far more than necessary. This just felt wrong and I don't think I will come be back. read more

My boyfriend brought me here because he loves it a lot. I was very impressed. I give it only 4 stars because I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks. They tasted bitter and off. The food was good, the server forgot to order our shrimp though but everything was tasty and seasoned well and it came out quickly. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Will go back read more

Love the food here. But something happened about a year ago that I can't shake. I asked for a shot of bourbon. After consuming the shot, the manager came up to us at the bar (I think the waitress was too scared to do it) and told me the bottle that they poured from was full of fruit flies. She said she would not charge us for the fruit fly- laden bourbon, but we had to pay for everything else. Still go there, but can't shake the feeling that this place is dirty and I'm rolling the dice. read more

I'm so happy to find this expanded restaurant in the Bay Area! The poboy shop in Montrose/Heights is the bomb already, and this restaurant looks incredibly promising, especially for the seafood feast we ordered! Staff is en pointe, friendly, fast, and helpful. Menu options are great, despite being recently simplified during the pandemic. Can't wait for our meals! Cajun-approved by this diner and her husband. We have high NOLA food standards, and we're incredibly impressed. Our food was excellent! We celebrated my birthday here today and I'm telling all my family and friends to come back here often. read more

Lost one star because I asked for extra bread and I was given two halves, which put together, make one slice of bread. Come on, that is not extra. The shrimp n grits portion looks good. I did get cutlery. Saddened about the bread tho. Smh. Updated: The taste made my sadness better. Ps: suggestion for management. Turn one of ur side parking spots into curbside/to-go; I followed directions posted outside about pulling to the front for curbside pickup, but while waiting i had two cars come up behind me that were honking for me to move. Arrgh that got me sensitive and then seeing the 2 slices of bread kinda added to it sorry. read more

This is the third time I've had crawfish at this location and the verdict is in... IT'S the best! The Tex-Orleans crawfish seasoning is superior to any crawfish seasoning in the area. The bugs are purged, perfectly cooked, large for the season, and simply AWESOME! Courtney the bartender is very attentive and fast. Nothing but great things to say about BB Tex! Starting off we were greeted immediately by our awesome server Dontrelle. He was really sweet, and let us take our time hitting different parts of the menu. Also the manager came by to make sure everything was good. Other staff members table touched (all wearing mask & gloves btw) so we felt super welcome and very well taken care of. I got the Bloody Mary it was super good. The raw oysters were some of the best I've ever had! They had a clean favor and were very well shucked. The snow crab was a good size and the seasoning on there had a great flavor. The rue in my etouffee was very flavorful and it had a good amount of crawfish in it. Somehow we managed to fit a brownie in too I always love a hot and cold combo so it was the perfect ending. Will definitely be back!! read more

Came to Houston for a meeting and stopped in here for lunch. Super clean, ambiance was fun, the service was Amazing, and the food even better! My husband and I split the Shrimp and Crab Boil experience. Everything was cooked perfectly! Nothing over cooked as often happens with boil pots. The flavor was good and the perfect amount of spice. I wished we had a BB's near us! We will be back for sure on the next trip to Houston! read more

We waited over 10 minutes before deciding to leave. I understand places can be short staffed or overwhelmed (even on a Sunday night at 8 pm which it was). But no one even came by to acknowledge us. How many times can I read their menu? The area by us was dirty. Our table was sticky. I don't recommend this place even if you are given a free coupon. read more

Not sure where to start. We were greeted right away and the server was really nice and they have cool Decor but that's where the hood stuff ended. I ordered sa shrimp diggity and the shrimps were so over seasoned and salty that my doctor texted me and asked me what I was thinking. My gf ordered a crab boil and got exactly what is in the picture. Pretty sure the server maybe heard wrong so not faulting her. But A cluster on a French fry basket by itself? Who orders that for dinner? . don't like wasting money on food and usually suck it up and eat what I ordered but could not eat this. So I am paying for dinner twice tonight. I read a lot of good reviews and some suspicious reviews and gambled. Lol I lost tonight . Also my girl was really pisses the whole" are you guys together or separate " for the bill read more

It's Monday, it's dinner time, there are no red beans and rice. Cardinal sin. Servers are nice and so is the ambiance.

I love Houston Restaurant Week! $35 per meal and the selection was what I usually get. Way too much food, have a second meal of left overs. I was really impressed with their social distancing and 3 sanitation stations before you reach the table. Bathroom doors propped open so no worries about having to touch door handles. We chose to eat here tonight because open table was not working! Usually it says there is a 50 minute wait. We called, they said there was a 10 min wait. But they could not put us in the list til we were in the building. No problem, we got there and didn't wait long. Our server, Akhil, was great. read more

I decided to give this place a try after various recommendations. Initially the pricing seemed high but I expected the value to be there. The staff member we got wasn't the best but I could tell other staff members were more attentive. Food wise we ordered the fried pickles, they were decent. $10? Not close, at most $5-6 they were basic fried chips.. 5Lbs $35 crAwfish sounds like a steal! We got the TX Orleans special... the sauce was only on the outside, it smelled like marinara sauce with sausage.. the flavor wasn't good for crawfish. While the quality of the crawlers were good the flavor was lacking overall. Overcooked and bland water inside. Seems like they boil them plain and just add sauce/seasoning on top. We didn't even eat half the tray and the most disappointing fact was the staff member did ask if we wanted a box to go, when we said no. He didn't bother asking why, was everything okay.. nothing. Just gave me the bill and walked away. I can honestly say I won't be going back again. Server TJ Check #11 3/15/22 read more

We visited BB Orkeans Webster for Houston Restaurant Week and asked for the HRW menu. I ordered the Madhatters salad and hubby got the empanadas. Both were delicious. For entres we both ordered the redfish served with rice, veggies and a nice sauce. Fish was topped with shrimp. Rice, sauce, veggies and shrimp were tasty but when we tried the fish, it didn't flake apart. We couldn't even break it apart with the fork and spoon so we told our waiter we needed a knife. This seemed not to disturb him at all. He just brought knives. We couldn't eat the fish so we told him it was beyond cutting and asked him to tell the chef and that they should pull it off the menu if they could prepare it properly. No discount was even offered. We took our dessert to go and will probably not go back. I have NEVER had fish that I couldn't flake with a fork. read more

Food was flavored like Texas tap water. Tables were sticky and wiped with a dry napkin. Servers were polite but slower than oil rollin uphill in winter. Waste of money to go here and no value in it unless you want dirt in you food while eating off filth for moronic authenticity read more

The vibes in this place are spot on and service is great. Our waitress took the time to explain the history of the franchise and seemed to really take pride working there. While waiting for our food, we couldn't understand why there were only 3 tables on a Sunday night. Unfortunately, the food was lackluster and we were disappointed. Having previously worked in New Orleans, I was excited to try the shrimp and grits; but the shrimp was rubbery, lacked seasoning, and didn't taste fresh while the grits were also bland. The boudin balls were dry and we didn't finish them. The chicken gumbo was the best item we ordered. read more

We ordered pick up. It was a longer wait time than was promised but the staff behind the call and at the pick up line was helpful and polite. And the flavor of the crawfish we ordered was definitely worth the wait. It was tangy, spicy, savory and yet had a sweetness that came from fresh clean seafood once you sucked into the shells, assuming that that was what you do eating a good crawfish boil. The crawfish was not that big yet, but its texture firm, tender and juicy. And definitely not frozen and shipped from unknown sources way way away from US. Good! I am going back for more. read more

I ordered by phone, the guy that took my order was very friendly and patient because I didn't know what I wanted. This was my second time coming to BB's and first time during Restaurants Week. I wish someone would of warned us that A, the food was going to be this good and B, we were going to be full before our main entree. Just a heads up to everyone that goes during restaurants week, be prepared for a 4 course meal of straight goodness. Service was great. This place was pretty good, a bit of a long wait but it was expected being a hot new restaurant. Brielle was an awesome waitress, she definitely helped with some of the drink decision and entree choices. We were a little be indecisive. Over all everything was pretty good, I do feel that the drinks could be a little bit bigger. Putting them in a tall/slim glass and a bunch of ice isn't worth $10. I must say the frozen margaritas were a lot better. Aside from the drinks, we will be returning. read more

Met some friends to try out the happy hour. Service was absolutely 5 star. We tried the seafood empanadas, I would order again they were delish, the Boudin balls. We actually left 2 on the plate. The crust was too heavy and detracted from the boudin taste. Wouldn't order them again. My friends both ordered gumbo which I tasted and it was very tasty. Also very salty. ( the others did not mention the saltiness) our server was Allie and she was a doll and on point! The manager made her way around to our table several times and she was great! read more

The food was good but not earth shattering. I may be biased since I have been to New Orleans numerous times. Not a bad option, though.

I like this, but it feels like they don't have the kinks worked out yet. It kind of feels like there's too much going on with everything else instead of here's the smoothest way to get diners from point A to point B. The stupid tablets are one big headache. When it come time for the check, give me a sheet of paper with all my food on it. Don't have the waitress flash a screen at me and expect me to just go, ok whatever you say... I want to see everything we ordered and not with the waitress holding the damn tablet there. I then want a printed itemized receipt. It's not that hard. The food tasted good, but one other issue is the parking lot. Please do something about that. read more

What a mixed experience! The food was really good and reminded me a lot of NOLa, but the service couldn't have been worse. I had driven past the restaurant many times and always said to my wife we need to give that place a try as we both love Louisiana cuisine. We decided to give them a try last Friday night. Upon arriving around 9PM my wife and I joined the growing crowd that had gathered at the hostess stand. We waited more then 10 minutes before we were greeted....and when I say WE...I mean the 20+ customers that were ignored by several waiters who came by the stand. While we sat there about half the customers actually left. After the hostess finally arrived we were seated in the middle of the dining room....where we waited and waited and waited for the waiter who never showed up. Finally I identified a manager and ordered our drinks from her. The bartender served our drinks and apologized for the poor service up to that point. We placed an appetizer order with the bartender and a few minutes later we were served the most wonderful seafood empanadas. But again we were stranded without service. Finally I waved down a waiter who explained the we were not his table but I insisted that he take our order....which he did reluctantly. Our entrees arrived after a short wait and were once again served by the food runner or kitchen staff...to my surprise it was worth the wait! My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits....the grits had a wonderful silky texture and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. For myself I enjoyed red beans, crawfish etouffee, and a spicy sausage link. After stealing a shrimp from my wife's plate I regret not ordering the optional shrimp skewer with my entree. Finally a waiter arrived, yes an actual waiter! He got us a refill on our cocktails and talked us into dessert....a key lime cheesecake. The cheese cake was lack luster with no character....I think it came from the frozen section at Kroger. All in all I will not be returning unless it's for take out as the horrible service far outweighed the food. Unfortunately for BB's there are just too many wonderful restaurants in Houston for me to suffer through horrible service. read more

I hope I can make this short because this place isn't worth spending much time on. It got such good reviews we decided to try it. We got the fried oyster plate. The good: o The service was good. o My martini was cheap and good. o The hush-puppies, what there were of them, were good. o The fries would have been good but because it was so loud I was never able to get our server to hear my requests for catsup. The bad: o The parking required you walk a distance. o It was TOO LOUD! o The oysters (our meal) were terrible. That's it. We won't be back. __ We've eaten out every meal for 30 years read more

Went in and it was pretty crowded and I had a large party, so we ordered to go. After spending forever to decide what we all wanted, we ordered to go and hung out at Barnes & Noble while we waited.
