Parking near the front of the restaurant was tight and limited. We waited about 40 minutes for our party of 8 to get seated. Once we got called to come in, we were seated at a lengthy table that sits 10. One grill at both ends of the table. There are two AYCE options (A & B), with the more expensive one having a few more meat options. We went with option B. For meat we ordered: Brisket, Thinly Sliced Pork Belly, Filet Mignon, Pork Jowl, Marinated Beef Ribs, Rib Finger Meat, Spicy Shrimp, Beef Tongue, and Scallop. How was all of that meat? Well, the only one worth mentioning was the Marinated Beef Ribs. They were juicy and had so much flavor. Tender and ripped right of the little bones. No fat left behind, I ate it all. All of the items were OK. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the brisket. I'm thinking with most places brisket could be a hit or a miss. This review is for their take-out experience. I put in my order online a few hours ahead for a specific pick up time. Upon arrival, my order was ready on the table inside the restaurant. Everything was packaged nicely as well. For a family of four, we ordered 5lbs of meat and 5 banchans, but this was actually enough for two meals. For meats, we ordered 2lbs of marinated beef ribs (boneless) ($13/lb), prime brisket ($12/lb), bulgogi ($9/lb), and garlic pork belly ($7). The marinated beef ribs is so flavorful and melt in your mouth texture --must get. All the beef meats were yummy, but the pork belly was just okay. It was just nice to have something other than beef, but would probably pass next time. Their banchans are the real deal here though. They all come in a 16oz cup, which is great for only $3 each. We ordered the kimchi cucumbers, fishcake, potato salad, rice paper, and spicy tofu soup. Everything has lots of spice and flavor. Although the rice paper were kind of small, it was easier to pick everything up at one place. It was my first time picking up KBBQ to make at home and it was such a fun experience. Every time I drive on Calima and see the tent and tables outside with full of people. I decided to give a try. We all got $29.99/person all you can eat BBQ. The meat quality is good. The meat lover will love this.We tried different meat, they all are good, just the sauce is ok to me not really amazing like some other BBQ place. They offer complimentary side dishes, steam eggs, tofu soup, ice-cream and other stuff. The service is good. All you can eat Korean barbecue restaurant that's currently open during covid for takeout and outdoor dining. They're open for lunch and dinner during the weekend, and I would recommend coming before noon in order to avoid a long wait. You put your name on the list and they'll call you when the table is ready. There are two menu options (A is $25.99, B is $29.99) and they do serve alcohol (I.e soju). Credit cards are accepted. Bathrooms are available for customer use through the double doors in the back. They still serve all the favorite meats plus some fun extras like cheese fondue. I am quite fond of the spicy tofu soup as well. The banchan i standard and my favorite was the fish cake. Rice and rice paper is available upon request. The servers hustled and were nice. Ice cream is available for dessert (flavors include strawberry, rainbow sherbet, green tea, and mint chocolate chip). BBQ Stop is one of our favorites AYCE Korean BBQ places. We've been there many times in the past but we went there less often after pandemic. We were so glad to have the AYCE kbbq there again. We went on Saturday around noon but surpringly it had a few people there only. Anyhow, we got seated immediately and then we just scanned the QR code to choose our menu. The menu options are simple with only menu A or menu B, the price quite increased a lot coz we haven't been there for more than a year or so, menu A $34.99 per person or menu B $39.99 per person. (note: entire party must order the same menu and 17% gratuity will be added to the bill for parties of 8 or more). Menu B bascially have everything on menu A plus they have additional 9 meat choices such as filet mignon, marinated beef ribs, short ribs, pork jowl, etc. and seafood will have calamari and scallop. We feel good enough to have menu A for All You Can Eat Lunch. We first chose bulgogi, prime brisket, spicy pork belly, hawaiian pork chop, and some hot soup. The bulgogi was so yummy and flavorful. The quality of the meat was great. The pork belly had lots of fats but they were pork belly lol so that's expected. We also tried some hot soup like non-spicy soft tofu soup but it was a little bit blend (may be compare to our BBQ meat), and soy bean paste soup & spicy tofu soup. After that, we also tried the assorted vegetables (I ordered it quite a few times in between of the meat dish) and they were tasty with the salad dressing. We ordered shrimp, steamed egg, BBQ pork chop again (The pork chop meat came in one big piece but we cut it into pieces...it was tender and flavorful), bulgogi and some other meat dish. It was a fulfilling lunch and we had delicious matcha (green tea) ice-cream, rocky road ice-cream to conclude the meal. It was a satisfying AYCE KBBQ lunch. We didn't even want to have dinner that night. lol Service: attentive service and they had a lot of servers but they have one assigned to each table. He helped us to change the burnt cooking grill placement quite a few times. We didn't need to ask and he came on time! We left at around 2 and it was full house. I guess many people like to come late on the weekend. improvements: I hope they will add more seafood on menu A though because menu A's seafood choices have baby octopus (I don't eat) and shrimp only. P.S. I'm thrilled that I did not have the SMELL after i had the Korean BBQ on me becuase I don't like the smokey smell cling on to my hair and clothing strongly everytime. Went for dinner last night & was glad to finally check this place out. The wait was about 20/30 minutes for our party of 2. It was packed! They did very well with keeping us updated and check on us from time to time. When we were finally seated, everything was set in motion and before you know it, I was stuffing my face! Had a delightful dinner last night here in the COVID safe tent set up. Luckily we got there early, before 5:30, because later it got busy and there was a line. Everything we had was wonderful. Brisket was cut so thin, bulgogi was juicy & flavorful. We also tried the garlic pork belly- so good. I loved all the sides too. Small issue was the grill at first wasn't hot enough so it took awhile cooking - it was my first time so I didn't notice. But after the flame went out, they replaced the fuel and man it was screaming hot and I prefer it that way! That's the way it should be. Free ice cream for dessert was a special touch. I have to say solid three only because compared to the other kbbq places I've been to, this one is my least favorite. Their brisket sauce is on the sour side and not to my liking so I couldn't enjoy any of the meat selections besides the flavored ones. ALL staff members are genuine and polite as they came over as well to check up on our party (10 plus times) which was great! Great place for dine-in with outdoor seating during covid. They have a large tented area with around 15 tables in the parking lot, and it's pretty at night since they have lots of string lights around the tents. They're currently using portable stoves with a grilling plate on top for you to cook. Wait times may be around an hour when they're busy. I HIGHLY suggest ordering your ayce plates with half meat, and ordering more as you go (unless you're coming with a party of 4+). Our plates came out as mountains, and each plate had around 20 pieces of meat! We started off with one order of brisket, and one beef belly. Those two plates alone basically filled us both up. We also got half an order of bulgogi and tofu soup afterwards. Everything was pretty good, and my favorites were bulgogi and beef belly. Tofu soup was just okay. What stood out to me the most here was service. Our server, along with all the other servers working, were extremely attentive and friendly! They came by frequently to check up on us. And at the end, I enjoyed the free ice cream - my favorite was the green tea. Overall, pretty good food (7/10) with even better service (10/10). For the price, the quality of the kbbq is decent. We got excellent service from all the staff not just our server. We didn't even have to ask for grill changes, our server just observed anytime she made her rounds and asked us. She came by often and asked if we needed or wanted anything else. Even other servers stopped by on the way to serve their tables to ask if we needed anything. We're currently on vacation from NorCal for the week and traveling with two kids (6yr old and 3 month old). One of the staff came and ask how old our son was and shared he had a little one as well, making nice conversation with us. We were seated in the small room where most tables are for two people and quite spacious. The two menu prices were very reasonable at $23.99 and $27.99. The menu B had spicy shrimps and squid which are my favorites for Koran BBQ. Hubby ordered mostly marinated beef ribs and marinated sliced ribs which were flavorful and tender. I liked the side dishes such as spicy tofu soup, soy bean soup, kimchi cold noodles and cheese fondue. The steak or sliced steak looked yummy and garlic Cajun chicken from menu A was delicious too. Banchan was limited but not bad and I always like kimchi for some reason. Service was very friendly but a bit slow at first, glad it picked up pretty fast eventually. LOCATION: At first, my maps had me enter from the back side of the restaurant, so it took me a few minutes to go around and find the restaurant. Once I found it, I noticed that the designated parking lot is really small with limited spots. I did go right when they opened on a Tuesday so it was fine but I can only imagine how bad it is during peak hours. FOOD: I haven't had AYCE KBBQ in a long time so it was a nice change of pace. I had ordered Menu A and in my opinion, it had a lot of good choices. The meat quality was pretty good. Not top-notch but very good. The sides were also really good so no complaints there. An added bonus that I like is that they give you complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal. A nice treat for sure! They have all my favorite banchan side dishes, including japchae noodles, fish cakes, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, potato salad and more! Although they have two tiers to choose from, we always go with the higher tier, which is well worth the upgrade at $4 more per person, considering they have galbi short ribs, beef tongue, and gigantic shrimp! All of their meats come well-marinated and are nice premium cuts. Best of all, they always offer at least four or five different flavors of Thrifty's ice cream (green tea, chocolate malted crunch, strawberry, rocky road, butter pecan) to choose from at the end of the meal, which is a great way to cap off the entire experience! I will admit this place is kind of pricey at $24/person for the lower tier, $28/person for the upper tier, and $13/kid ages 4 and up...but it's well worth it! Went to BBQ Stop on a Sunday night to celebrate a friend's birthday because we both loved Korean BBQ. I got there at 5:45pm and we were seated in 5mins. We got one of the two outdoor tables that was left after they opened indoor dining. We chose the $34.99 menu since it's included a lot more beef selection, and we were both very impressed with the quality of the meats. The steak and rib meat was soft and tender. We definitely got our money's worth. We also tried a bottle of the Apple Mango soju. My friend described it as having a "fresh and crisp taste, while the mango overpowered the apple ". To be honest, I was never really a fan of BBQ Stop as there are other KBBQ spots that I believe to be better. But, not every KBBQ restaurant offers takeout at this time. Wanting to try their takeout option, I decided to order the Brisket Combo over the phone. While it's not possible to have an AYCE experience, BBQ Stop offers a great deal at about $17. You get a big portion of your choice of meat, rice, multiple banchan, salad, soup, and even a little ice cream. Even though their usual AYCE price is a few dollars more, for takeout I was very pleased with the amount of food I was able to get. It will definitely satisfy your KBBQ craving! Although the takeout combo meat selection is sparse, just the most basic ones, I don't see that as a bad thing. If you really want the other meats they offer, they are also selling the rest of the meats uncooked by the pound. The meat isn't going to meet everyone's standards because YOU aren't cooking it yourself. I prefer brisket to be cooked to the point where there is crispy edges. The brisket was dry but the sauce helped it out tons. The sides were standard. Tofu soup was okay. Salad was nothing desirable. Although the food is just average, I'm someone that likes value. The food was good enough for me to enjoy and hold off until it's safe to actually go to KBBQ.
