Ordered their whole roast pig Chinese style (there is a Filipino option as well - idk what the difference is but tried it out as we ordered Filipino style last time form another company).. previously ordered from a Filipino delivery service (can't remember the name - but it was also very good) but this was much cheaper ($70 cheaper!!), same size, crispier skin, less salty and ironically less Chinese spice flavors. I liked that I could specify the exact time of pickup - vs having delivery time window of 1 hour for the other company. Did not come with any sauces though. Recommended. read more

I haven't been back to this place in a few years, but I feel the quality of the meat has gone down as well as the preparation of the barbecue meats I ordered a half barbecue duck and barbecue pork combo. The duck pieces were cut really huge and the barbecue pork was really dry. I think they must have changed owners because I felt the food was not as fresh as when I remembered from before. read more

Today my elderly mother decided to give this place another chance after we had a previously poor one, when they hid a large and heavy bone into our container which we unknownly paid for based on weight charged, but today they sold her cold and rubbery skin roast pork that they claimed was freshly made this morning, B.S.. When she confronted them about it, they could care less and told her that they would not give her another fresh piece from hot display. How outrageous and absurd. This is a gem that has been around for years. Located on the corner of 152nd and Fraser Highway the complex is a bit difficult to get to depending on the direction of travel. Our go to use to be Hen Long or T&T but this is our new spot. The offer a wide variety of BBQ meats such as the traditional duck, chicken, bbq pork, roasted crispy pork. They also have a wide variety of marinated items as well, though some not for the faint of hear but we love to eat everything. We got the crispy pork, bbq duck, pig stomach, pig ear, pork bung, and marinated duck wings. All of which were delicious and flavorful. The marinate is slightly different than those at Hen Long but we actually prefer this. It had a much more subtle flavor without overpowering with soya sauce. Also textually this was much batter as it did not feel like it was over cooked. Pork was crispy, marinated offal were nice and tender. read more

Being a non-resident of Surrey, I can say that it's probably underrated, who would've thought that this Chinatown-style joint would exist out here... then again, it's in the nicer part of Surrey, the Fleetwood area. But I digress. Did some takeout for their bbq duck, tender meat & crispy skin. When they hang 'em like that, it just feels right, you know? This restaurant is very misleading. I went out of my way to come here and I was so disappointed. I walked in and there were only 2 tables. It's not even a restaurant the eating are is the size of my bathroom. Both tables were occupied with Chinese men just half hazardly sitting there, they mind as well have had there legs up. It's seem dirty and dingy to me. I looked at the menu (4" x 5" piece of paper) and it's just had bbq items no fried noodle no congee. Just rice plates with your choice of bbq meat. That's it!!!!!! Pictures on yelp are not recent and their menu is not up to date. I looked at the bbq items and it did not look fresh so we walked out. So disappointing especially when you go out of your way to go there. read more

When I'm in the area and craving for Chinese comfort food, this place definitely hits the spot. I usually get their barbecued meats (typically char sire pork and duck) on rice for lunch and it's always great. Unlike some places, you get a nice large serving of meat at a reasonable price. Service is super friendly as well with the place being family run. Lots of free parking in the rear. They have trays/whole birds for takeout or just eating with a large group. First time eating at this restaurant. I'd have to say..... its delicious!! When you first come in, the place is a bit small for a restaurant. It is kind of weird entering and seeing the ducks and sorted meat there. We ordered the fried rice, house special chow mein which was super crispy good, pinoy lechon which was superrrr duppeeerrrr delicioussss( 99.9999% better), and fish maw soup. Their price is decent and customer service was great! Definitely recommend trying this place out! read more

I used to love going to this place but l no longer am. This place used to be my fav BBQ pork place....:( I never used to have to ask for lean pieces and they would come sin perfect meat and fatty proportions. I ordered it once a few months back and over half of the BBQ pork were fat. Since then, I always asked for lean when I order BBQ pork. I am a regular so thought they knew my preference. I ordered it again today and forgot to ask for lean and same thing happened again...over half of the BBQ pork were fatty parts. I wonder they changed their pork supplier to cause this drop in quality of their BBQ pork. They also shorten their hours and shrunk their menu so am not sure whether this is related. If you order BBQ pork from them, be sure to ask it for lean if you prefer lean meats. read more

Recently tried out this place since it's close to my work. We used to frequent Saigon Pho to Go, which was the restaurant space that they took over so I thought I'd give it a try. Decor is fairly plain. If you've been to Saigon Pho to Go before, then it's the same furniture. The space is also smaller than before because of the display case they have for the BBQ items. I had the Crispy skin pork and the BBQ pork with rice. The serving sizes are definitely generous and I had some difficulty finishing it off. The crispy skin pork was good (although not at the caliber you'd get from somewhere like HK BBQ Master in Richmond) but it was certainly on par with what you'd find at your usual Vancouver small BBQ shop). It's certainly one of the best and more authentic places for Chinese BBQ in Surrey. We went in there about a week after they opened and they had quite a few customers coming in. Maybe it's the novelty of something new in the neighbourhood? In any case, if they keep up the serving sizes and quality, I think I'll see myself going there again in the future. A few of my foodie friends gave them some other suggestions on menu items so it'll be interesting to see if they'll follow through and add some more authentic items to the menu. read more

Good food, shady operators I ordered from this restaurant three time so far and every time I had some sort of issue with the service. The first time they called after an hr I placed the order they called and said their driver didn't show. I ended up picking up the food. The second time they over charge and when I called they said those are their old price on online many on zomato and yelp. And today I ordered a dinner for 4 . The menu says it comes with soup. A hole in the wall with excellent food! I saw the sign that said "Pinoy Lechon" which is Filipino Roast pork. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. You love bacon? Well this is 1000000000 times better!! It's pork slow roasted with love. I ordered two bbq cuts of this delicious roast pork with rice. It comes with a few pieces of broccoli and a hard boiled egg. Cuz yeah the broccoli is meant to offset that wonderful pork!! Delicious delicious delicious. It comes with some lechon sauce and a little side of bbq pork sauce too. The server knew I was Filipino so that's the first thing she mentioned. BANG ON LADY!! Yes please. I am happy about the care and attention to detail right down to the beautifully crispy pork skin and the tender slices of flavorful pork. The right amount of pork fat. I will be back!! Bbq pork is really good. They will scoop some of the Chinese bbq sauce on it if you get it chopped or give you a container if not chopped. Their roast pork is also delicious ... They went through a FEW DOZEN pigs for Chinese New Year. The skin is always nice and crispy. On top of these 2 items, they have a good menu of items. The kids really like the deep fried squid and lemon chicken. The location is a bit hidden, but worth finding. If you are in the area and looking for a snack or a full Chinese dinner, I recommend this place. Note that they only have a small dining area. I recently moved to Surrey from Richmond and I can say they serve the best Chinese BBQ across the Fraser River that I've tried. BBQ King Delight is one of the only few legitimate Chinese (Cantonese) style restaurant you can find in Surrey. Compare to other Chinese restaurants, their pricing is average. I've eaten their Chinese BBQ dishes a few times and found the quality of food to be on par with some of the better restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver. Their dishes also come in decent portion size. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 out of 5 because I found their service a bit slow. They can definitely improve by learning how to be more efficient. read more

This is a rare Chinese bbq restaurant in Surrey. The food it pretty good, very flavourful. The quality isn't very consistent. When they make the food right it is amazing but when they don't it's still not that bad. I just wished I can expect the quality to be the same every time.
