I submitted the online form inquiring about a new garage build. I received a call back within an hour and got an appointment scheduled to talk in person. Mike Russell was the point person helping us determine our needs, answer questions, provide consultation on options, and get us on the schedule. The project started ahead of time and our Project Manager, Tom Leiskau was AMAZING! Excellent communication, always responsive and provided great consult. He is also very kind and easy to talk to so I felt I could call him about any small question and not feel bad about doing so. He took REALLY great care of us! By the end of the project, I considered him a friend. The crews that did the base/floor/concrete and then the build of the garage structure were equally amazing. We watched in wonder as these crews worked efficiently and as a team from start to finish each day....the progress was amazing! (The only hold ups are getting inspectors to come review things, but that is the city, not Sussel!) With the highest of confidence, I recommend Sussel Garages if you need a garage built! Fantastic!

We ended up going with spring of 2023, and were first on their priority list. While the project took longer than expected, and we had some set backs, we were still very happy with the communication. In full disclosure, we did have to have one side of the garage re-done due to some James Harding and a portion of the roof re-done (due to rushed contracting work), we still were really happy with the overall project. He said they looked like they were "wrapped by my 4 year old grandkid." There was a leak on my porch roof twice during and right after construction and was told to move the A/C out of that window. They had me work with a door installer who told me box store doors were cheap and he doesn't install them but when it came time to install the door they gave me a cheap one from Menards that wouldn't lock. The person who installed it told me to go buy a new spring and lock for it. They left the siding around the door cut unevenly and unpainted and said they would come back for that and to install a new lock. I gave up on arguing over the cheap door. They never came back. They left garbage on my lawn twice and killed a bunch of my plants that never grew back. I got one B.S. line after another. They did fix some things after I pushed but didn't follow through on the rest. Really disappointed.

One contractor shows up every few days, parks illegally (well over a foot from the curb) then sets up a table saw across from his truck. Only one car can pass at a time, and he sets up like this every time he is here (which is nowhere near every day). I can't speak to the price or the quality of the work, but professionalism and speed are clearly not priorities for this company.

To start: Working with Signature has been by far the *best* experience I have had in my time…read moreworking with contractors--from start to finish!!!! A bit detail: When I started the roof project, I finally had about $6,000 saved (so proud). I went on yelp to select three contractors and called them. Of the three, only Signature immediately returned my call. I scheduled for the week, and Jesse Martin came over to discuss the project and Signatures product. Jesse was on time (a trend he continued) and was MOST, MOST professional--tremendous communicator. He was calm, friendly, patient, and made sure to not give me the hard sell. Most important, he said we should put in a claim to the insurance to see whether my roof has been damaged. We started the insurance process and Chris (Signature's project manager) and Jesse were at my house an hour prior to my insurance adjuster. Chris got on the roof and chalked every spot that was damaged. It turned out to be quite a bit. Once my adjuster came, they both went on the roof again and discussed. The process was incredibly thorough and took about 2 hours. I was amazingly impressed with Chris and Jesse and how professionally they interacted with the insurance adjuster. Turns out my roof had significant damage and Signature began the process of working with my insurance. Jesse, who was my main contact via text and phone, told me to let Signature manage the approval process and project. I did. Here, I was so, so impressed with the thoroughness and immediate communication. Jesse always kept me in the loop, was incredibly responsive to my questions, and was just present. We needed to dismount my AC as well; again, Jesse worked with my HVAC person and my insurance to get that added. Just absolutely fantastic!!!! Once we scheduled the roof replacement, the crew of 5 (or 6) were at my house 6:45a SHARP. The old roof was off by 8 and the new roof was on by 5 when I came back home. The crew was AWESOME!!!! Super friendly. I got them a round of donuts and gave them $100.00 for lunch. Nicest, nicest people. Since then (about 6 weeks) I found MAYBE 5 nails. Clean-up was amazing. The last step was to get my insurance check to Signature. That took a bit because my mortgage company needed to endorse it. That process took about 6 weeks; that is how long Signature needed to wait for its money. Here again, I worked wit Nikki, who was super, super patient. I checked in with her regularly, and she was very kind and understanding. I really, really, really appreciated it. All in all, the entire Signature crew--the actual roofers, Jesse, Chris, Nikki--blew my gasket: each and every one of them were professional, respectful, and experienced--and most of all, extremely, extremely reliable and always on time. I never once felt ignored. I actually recommended Signature to my neighbors and they got approved as well. Signature gave me a little thank you with a $100.00 off. Also told them of the wall outlet that doesn't work and the person I talked to said he would look at it while he was here. Well, another worker showed up, didn't know anything about the outlet and it took 4 hours to replace the tile. I didn't check the tile until after the worker left as they had been often I figured they could at least get the color right. I cannot express enough how difficult it has been to work with thia company and would not recommend them to anyone.

There were some areas which required innovative ideas to resolve and he offered several creative solutions which worked out very well. I asked him to do some additional work such as hanging a curtain and suspending a picture from the ceiling and painting several additional rooms and he, without any hesitation, agreed to do the work. He is very careful and a perfectionist in his work and at the same time worked very fast. He always cleaned up any mess after a day's work so that the area was very clean.
