Two words: Shrimp burger. I haven't had a shrimp burger since being in Japan and my god do I miss it. The burger was juicy and well made, not oily, no filler and full of shrimp. It was so big I had to split it. The bun was perfectly toasted and the cabbage added a nice touch. We also got the potato salad which was delicious! Perfectly cooked potatoes with good chunks of pork belly (or maybe it was bacon) and onions and celery. It faired really well with the burger. I'm super excited to go back and try their fried chicken and other items. It's such a clean environment, ac is great, and service was so friggin fast. I really enjoyed my kimchi burger. It was smash style and the kimchi flavor wasn't too strong, well balanced. I also tried my husbands shrimp burger, very good but needed a little more flavor. The shrimp patty was tender and crispy on the outside. I wish the front counter person asked if i wanted fries or tots. Silly me, forgot that they no longer come with burgers. That's on me but charge me extra $ for it to be included or let me know. There seemed a lot of people enjoying the food. We took it next door to the bar and they brought it to us. We came to Portland from Tacoma WA just to try this place. We didn't realize they open at 3p but crazy thing was we got their not knowing 5mins before they open so it was perfect timing. We ordered the signature chicken sandwich and a couple sides of corn cheese and cucumbers. The service was great and quick. Food was spectacular and lots of flavor. Bbang had some big shoes to fill taking the space of 28 Tigers (which I am still mourning) but this is also a solid addition to the neighborhood. I was most excited about the tofu katsu sandwich, and it did not disappoint! I am not vegan, and I don't even particularly like tofu, but I have found that tofu Katsu is the best form of tofu and I dont hesitate to order it in place of meat. I also really liked the vegan katsu sauce - it's bold and tangy and I actually prefer a non-creamy sauce so the vegan option works great. They don't have many drink options, and no alcohol, but with Holy Ghost being next door (and the table delivery offered) they are relying on the bar to fill that need. I also really loved the hand cut fries and the curry Ketchup. The menu is limited, but the tofu katsu and the great fries are enough to make this a spot I will definitely becoming back to. read more

You can dine in either place and they will bring it to your table in Holy Ghost. I had their fried chicken with plum sauce, shaved green onions, and a mild pickle of daikon. The breading build and crunch is top tier for Portland. The plum sauce has more salt than sweet. Staff was great and order delivered quickly. Was able to make it for Grand Opening and thoroughly enjoyed the Fried Chicken Sandwich and a side of kimchi. After the first flavorful bite I was like: I know what I need to do and loaded up the kimchi in the sandwich. So good. Also got the tots which were crispy and tasty. Next visit got the Kimchi Smash burger which was delicious. Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu. Been meaning to check this place out since they opened and I'm so glad I did! It's in the cutest little neighborhood and the food was 10/10. Probably the best chicken I've ever had in Portland. Hands down. Saw this spot on tiktok and wanted to try it out! Got myself the bulgogi burger and a side of cheese corn. I really enjoyed the bulgogi burger it was juicy and tasty. Incredibly filling, ended up only being able to finish half of it, but made great left overs! I thought the cheese corn wasn't cheesy enough for my personal preference, so I would personally try something else next time. Can see myself coming back to try the kimchi burger! Came with some friends to try half the menu and share. We got the bulgogi burger, shrimp burger, Tamagoyaki sando, fries, fried chicken with onion, and cheese corn. It was plenty of food for four people. The surprise favorite was the egg sando - it had some veggies in the omelet and the ketchup made it very nostalgic. I loved the shrimp sando but I wished it was a little less salty. We need to go back for the regular burger too, but overall I was pretty impressed. The chicken is super crispy and perfectly breaded, and the portions are plentiful! The hot honey appeared homemade and paired nicely with the chicken. I went back again recently after their soft opening to see how the place had evolved. The food is decent, but mostly just Sysco food products, but the sauces are delicious. My main concern was the punk rocker girl working the front who acted offended when I asked for change. I bought the KFC and it was $15. I paid with cash and asked for some change. she acted like she deserved 25% tip and huffed and then only handed me back three dollars and change though I just asked for change. What the heck is that all about? Then after she started off all friendly, she was cold toward me. Some people can't afford to tip 25% for a few pieces of fried chicken from a restaurant attached to a bar. Why shame people and short them by determining what they should be tipping you. What an unpleasant experience. It's right in my neighborhood also and I'd love to go back, but this person that works there needs to go. read more

Only open a week and it's this good??? Friendly staff, fresh and unique menu, and right next door to the Holy Ghost. We had the bulgogi burger, the fried tofu with spicy dipping sauce, and the spicy chicken sandwich. And they let us go next door with our number to the bar and they brought our food right to us. Cute cafe space over there too - we would've stayed if they had some drinks on their side, but it was just soda. Seriously so good. I hope these guys get more business bc they deserve it! read more

Dropped in for lunch on a lark after we found our brunch spot closed on a Saturday. I tried the kimchi smashburger and Beth tried the daily special, a bacon jelly grilled cheese. Both were excellent.
