While cheesesteaks is the main thing on their menu, I opted for a patty melt which was excellent -- just the right size, good amount of meat and plenty of onions and melted cheese. It also came with fries, so overall great bang for your buck at $12. I also got the berry cider which was tasty as well. Staff was super friendly and quick to churn out orders. The seating area is a covered patio/picnic table area, so not immune to the elements, but decent when the weather is nice. Follow the sign for Moore Food to find the food truck area down the alley and behind the building, it was a tad hard to spot initially, but easy to find once we saw the sign.

Yum!! Philly Cheesesteak and other goodies Heaven.....solid food, chill vibe with great personable service. Tucked behind businesses on Division after walking through a breezeway, they have a sign on the sidewalk out front...solid spot.

Breakfast club at Moore Food and Co is a solid weekend choice. The Pork roll and sausage breakfast sandwiches are exactly what you need. Their cheesesteaks are also in my top 3 for the city though I wish onions and peppers weren't extra. Also don't sleep on the buffalo chicken egg rolls. Big fan of this laid back spot tucked in an alley off division.

Had the cheesesteak with provolone, onions, and mushrooms. The ingredients are pretty good however the flavor wasn't anything special. Next time I'd probably add the hot peppers and change up the cheese. The space itself is really fun being tucked away in the alley with a multiple seating options. I ordered it to to go due to the windy/rainy weather however while waiting there and some solid wind gusts passing over the space was very comfortable. The rain and wind was blocked and they had some heaters going. There is a fire pit as you enter but that area is more exposed. In the end - Really enjoy the space but would get a cheesesteak elsewhere if that's what I was only going for.

TL;DR: get the Italian Hoagie - wow Order: - Italian Hoagie (MVP 5/5): surprise "special sh!t" of the day, the Italian Hoagie had the right balance of vinegar in the sauce/dressing and savoriness from the cold cuts. The shredduce and tomatoes provided the freshness. Great sandwich - Wings (3/5): good but small and not special - Fries (4/5): how can you hate fries :) The beer selection was pretty good and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere! Great cozy location for a larger group to grub and hang Cheers, Moore Food!

Jawn- noun DIALECT*US (chiefly in eastern Pennsylvania) used to refer to a thing, place, person, or event that one need not or cannot give a specific name to. If you're from the Philly area then you grew up with this term, if not, then you're gonna learn something new. Growing up in Jersey, I went to Philly a bunch and an am Eagles fan too boot, but I didn't know the word Jawn because it wasn't a part of my vocab. Not to say that other phrases from Philly didn't leak into how I spoke. I didn't learn of the word until I lived in Texas. Believe me, this will lead to why Moore food is a great place to go. There is a sticker, on a pole at Moore food with Princess Diana in an Eagles jacket with the word Jawn. The sticker is from Brian at Lombard House, another Philly native. The Moore family are as well. Philly people. A Yuenglings coaster is also tacked to the same pole. Philly people, Philly food. Unfortunately, no Philly beer. Amoroso's rolls since 1904 will light up your tastebuds with calorie laden cheesesteaks and pork roll sandwiches. All guilty pleasures. Whiz. Well seasoned steak fries and a good selection of local beer and their version of a michelada with Clamato juice. On this occasion, was their first live show. Glass of Hearts, a Blondie cover band. Good tunes! The goal of Tom, the owner, is to get some live music into this outdoor covered space periodically but keep it to tamer forms of music, especially with neighbors so close. You'll still get a good cross section of what PDX has to offer, just not the harder stuff. For a first show, it turned out pretty good. Good band, good sound, and enough people were crammed into this back alley area that is was fun. So, come down to Division, come to this back alley area with two carts, one food and beer, one for coffee and enjoy the atmosphere and the great Philly food. Get your jawn on. Enjoy and support local!

Bang up solidly awesome sandwiches, speedy cook times. Staff seem like good folks. Probably the nicest interior space of any food cart in town, you feel like you've stepped into a magical caravan. And an adorable mascot dog, who I only wish I was allowed to give treats to Also, I wish they also offered a smaller size of fries, although I can see how it could be a pain in the ass.

Easily the best Philly cheese steaks in the city of failed cheese steaks. Great live music. You gotta pay attention and find it. It's a hidden gem on 36th and division. Will most definitely be back.

I mostly was just planning to explore somewhere new and then was pleasantly surprised by just what I needed for a Friday evening. All the staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome. I'm from South Jersey and have very specific cheesesteak standards. Moore Food fulfilled these too infinity and beyond. I got a chicken cheesesteak with fried onions. Every bite was a bite of home like a big warm hug on a spring evening. Th bread was magically fresh for an Amoroso roll that travelled far. The filling was all just right with every bite blending wonderfully along with flavorful provolone. I look forward to coming for many years to come. I didn't think it'd be possible to have a true taste of home out here and am glad to have found it through Moore.

A hidden gem tucked in an alley!

Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

It was payday, my Friday, and my plans to make spaghetti carbonara were foiled by frozen bacon (…read moreoops) and a mountain of dirty dishes ( not. my. job.) and my freakin' exhaustion. Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.
