Tacowa KBBQ and soup in Boca Raton was a pleasant surprise. A hidden gem restaurant with authentic…read moreKorean food flavors- Today I tried the spicy pork bowl and it was served with a side of cucumber kimchi, which was one of the best I tasted in a long while. Yes, some would say that white rice, salad, topped with spicy pork or jeyuk Bokkeum isn't traditionally Korean, but I liked it more because it was perfect amount of nutrients in one bowl. The spicy pork had "fire" flavor cooked into it, which is very difficult to achieve, and it added a nice touch to already tasty bowl. The interior is cleanly kept and well maintained. The owner was there himself and he was very welcoming and friendly. Next time I am in the Boca Raton area, I will definitely be back. Yes, I recommend this place to everyone who is a fan of Korean flavors, this restaurant has something for beginners and Korean food experts. Thank you Tacowa for an excellent first time experience! Ps can you tell how much I enjoyed the food today?

I came here with my friend who I haven't seen in too long. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived…read more Ed was our server and he was excellent. When he found out we were first-timers, he explained the whole process clearly. We started with drinks. My margaritas were good. I loved the KFC, Korean Fried Chicken. This is outstanding and it is a great starter. The Japchae noodles tasted great. Those were the appetizers we chose but there are about eight to choose from. This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant. You choose two appetizers and four entrees. When you are finished, you can try other dishes. There sure is plenty to choose from. We also received sushi white rice to start. I took a couple bites but didn't want to use my appetite on that. The sirloin steak was probably my favorite. The shrimp was good as was the carne asada tacos. I was happily surprised to see tacoa on the menu. This was a great meal and I look forward to eating here again.

This was a different kind of experience. First off, the restaurant is very clean. Service was…read morereally good. He came around just often enough. I started off with an Old Fashioned. It was ok. Second round I ordered a large Sapporo beer which I enjoyed more. The little starters were decent. I am not a fan of kimchi, but I will always eat just a little of it. There were two different pickle starters and they were pretty good. I didn't love the potato one but it was decent. You can choose two appetizers and four meats at a time. The portions are large so we only asked for a little more of two of the appetizers. The KFC chicken was really good. It had great flavor. I did not like the kimchi fried rice, because I do not like kimchi, of course. They have a cheesy kimchi fried rice which I probably would have liked more. I love the Japanese glass noodles. This was so delicious. It was the best thing I ate here. There are so many meats to choose from. I chose garlic chicken. It was very good but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't love garlic like I do. I did like the carne asada and the fact he brought little soft taco shells for it was awesome. We got another meat that was pretty good but I forgot what it was. Our server recommended one of the short ribs because we could not figure out a fourth meat. This was extremely fatty, more than it usually is. I didn't like it. I don't believe they offer dessert as an extra item to order. I think that would be beneficial to everyone. I would have liked something sweet after all that saltiness. Right now they have half off large bottles of Korean rice wine. This is a fun place to eat.
