Fish and chips

I give them five stars because they have THE best fish and chips in Houston. Whodathunk, right? Their salads, pizza and the French dip are winners as well.

This place is in that 3.5 range. The cocktails are a weak point, the bar staff has been here for years and they will make a bad to okay drink. Wine menu is pedestrian. No big guns, but sone recognizable and consistent labels. Spirit offering could be better, but again it's much better than a lot of other places. Menu has enough to make most people happy and the kitchen is pretty consistent in quality and presentation. Service is good overall, the staff while on phones is quite attentive once you make eye contact. Can't really complain

Spinach Artichoke Dip

The Spinach Artichoke Dip was rich and indulgent, served warm with crispy flatbread and crostini. It had a creamy, cheesy base with generous pieces of artichoke and just the right amount of spinach. It's a perfect starter to share, though it's hearty enough to stand alone as a lighter meal.

Went there today with my daughter. Service was exceptional. Food was exceptional and surprising for a department store restaurant. I had the crab, mango & avocado salad. My daughter had the crispy chicken sandwich with Parmesan truffle fries....both were delicious. We had the Billionaire cocktail & French 75, both were very good and you could taste the alcohol which seems to be a rarity in many restaurants today. We will be going back again soon.

This restaurant is nice and located on the second floor of Nordstrom. The food was pretty great as per usual. I got a burger with fries and I asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it was well done. For dessert, I went with the blueberry bar and chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It was really good and I definitely recommend it for dessert. The service was great, and the server was really attentive.

I love going here for a quick lunch. They have great selection of American cuisine to include seafood. Yesterday I had a mushroom hamburger with grilled onions that was bursting with flavors and smells. It was big and even had left overs for dinner under 20.00

Wild Salmon with Saffron Couscous

This restaurant is located within the Nordstrom's in the Woodlands Mall. I enjoyed the food here! I ordered the Bistro Crab Bisque (which I always get here). It was really good, but a little too salty. I'd give it a 7/10 I ordered the Blackberry Lemonade, which was really good, but I do wish they gave a bigger straw with it (like a boba straw). They put fresh crushed blackberries in it, so they kept getting stuck in the straw, but it was so tasty. 9/10 For the entrée, I ordered the Wild Salmon with Saffron Couscous, which was so tasty. The salmon was a little overdone, but I loved the flavor profile they put together for that plate. 8/10

I was greeted and told the bar had open seating, which was perfect because I am shopping alone! I have been to this location previously and have always had a great experience! The bar tender today was great. She told me about the two wines she had on special today. I went with a glass of Chardonnay for only $10! Based on past experiences, I knew I had to get the crab bisque. It came out hot and looked delicious!!! I love the large crouton that comes on top!! It was just as amazing as I remembered!! Smooth and creamy with chunks of crab throughout! The crouton was crunchy and great to use to dip in the bisque! Overall, another great experience and I'm so glad I stopped in after a busy day of shopping!! If you get the chance to come, you will not be disappointed! And don't forget to try the crab bisque!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Fries with Crab Bisque Soup

Always solid, consistently delicious food! At the convenience of being in a great department store, this restaurant is a great option for a more refined eating than the food court options inside the mall. My friend got the French onion soup with a caprese salad and the basil with mozzarella was so fresh and yummy! I got the crab bisque and fries and wow! Although the restaurant I feel is more on the pricey side for lunch, the portions of both were large! I had to take some back home with me. This place has great service and is a good option if you want to splurge a little on some food during your shop break at the mall!

Good service, great food, and not noisy. My husband's French dip was probably the best ever. inside Nordstrom is a bonus.

I was going to a Dave Matthews show at the Pavillon and wanted to grab dinner beforehand, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. I got to Market Street about an hour and a half before the concert started, and quickly became really nervous when I discovered the Market Street was apparently now Grand Central Station in New York City. Every human being on Earth was also here and the area was buzzing. After hunting forever, I finally got a parking spot and hustled down to the restaurant, only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait. Not good! However, just in the time it took me to sit down and scan through my phone for a last minute pivot to a new restaurant, my name was called. My 30 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait and it could not have been more clutch. But because I was still in a bit of a hurry, I was ready and ordered the Trophy Burger as soon as my server came to greet me. And as was the theme of the night so far, said trophy burger was at my table within a few minutes. And because this was a solo mission for me, said trophy burger was in my belly in only about the time it took for them to cook it. My thoughts on the burger is that it was perfectly 4-stars. In between average and amazing. One thing that really stands out is that it was a messy undertaking. Don't eat this on a date before you're comfortable with the other person seeing you with sauce constantly all over your face and spilling onto your plate. Everything was all happening at such hyper speed that I even had time to order the dessert. I love Reeces, so when I saw a Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cup on the menu, I couldn't resist. You'll never believe it, but it was on my table within 2 minutes. My rating for this ranges from bite to bite. Some bites were amazing and others were just okay, depending on which ingredients were within that spoonful. Overall, I wouldn't need to order it again, but no regrets on trying it out. This is a nice addition to Market Street, and the back-of-house deserves a healthy share of the tips with how on top of it they were during a night with a packed house!

When we arrived we sat downstairs until a waitress let us know they had closed but upstairs was open. The winding staircase is very nice. The upstairs bar area is chic with a large TV, outside patio area and dance floor with live music. Our server came over quickly and was very attentive. I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband wanted a glass of Riesling but they didn't carry it. He ordered a glass of Pino Grigio instead. The crowd was entraining there was a guy with a cowboy hat on dancing half the time. The music was great too. We enjoyed the vibe and definitely will be back.

But that was quickly soured the blaring club music that felt like someone put a speaker directly on our window. I could still hear it with a sound machine and ear plugs...When discussed with the front desk, they said it was normal for floors 2-4 to hear this. Personally, I don't think it is normal for hotel guests to be subjected to club music while trying to get to sleep at 10 p.m. especially when you pay $300 a night, but that's just me. The Westin ended up moving us several floors up in the middle of the night so we could sleep. Laughably, we got up to floor 10+ and WE COULD STILL HEAR THE DAMN MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT.

The chandeliers are the main characters for sure. Lol. We popped in for happy hour and was blessed to be served by Argelis, the most handsome bartender on the block. Not only is he eye candy, he makes you feel right at home for the moment you are there. The specialty cocktails were tasty and just the right amount of booze to keep you classy hehe. We had lite bites such as the beef carpaccio and chicken cobb salad. Both were yummy. The only complaint was the ranch dressing wasn't ranching. However the manager was delightful enough to rectify the situation with grace. I love that customer satisfaction is top tier here in a world where it has become a lost art! So kuddos to the team for being GREEEAAAT*in my Tony the Tiger voice! I would definitely come back for a brunch and get dolled up in vintage swag for an expensive day out with the girls.
